Another good episode guy's,my only gripe is that alot of the time you can start talking over each other and like when james joined he tries a few times to say something but was talking over so not sure if there is any way of stopping this but will continue to watch anyway just wanted to say what I'm thinking sorry🙂👍
If I was purchasing a classic sports car and I knew the owner/seller at the dealership was a full time commercial pilot for some reason it would give me a great deal of confidence in his honesty. I guess subconsciously we inherently trust pilots with our lives so why would we not trust him in the purchase of a car. Use this USP to its best advantage Simon and good luck for the future.
Enjoyed the content as always. Was wondering if you could implement a simple system to reduce the chances of guests speaking over each other, which seemed to happen a lot in this episode?
I am not going to disagree with the three guys who run their own youtube channels. But the question for Simon should be. Does he want another job? When he already has two jobs? RUclips is great for some people like Joe who loves it. But it is a lot of work and not for every car dealer.
I love Porsche’s! I’ve had about 6 now but they do have their problems. The 3.4S and the 3.8S is especially is prone to the dreaded bore scoring. Any Porsche flat 6 engine that’s done over 60k miles might have bore scoring, or at least the early signs. On top of that is the IMS bearing failure issues which is probably more catastrophic. If the IMS bearing lets go it’s goodbye engine. I surprised that these issues weren’t mentioned, even in passing. In the US there was a class action against Porsche so most of their cars had upgraded IMS bearings replaced under warranty. Not so here in the UK or Europe. There’s plenty about this issue on RUclips. The 2.7 engine suffers less with this problem so some Boxster have achieved very high mileage. The 2.9 is a good one but the 3.2 and especially the 3.4 is best steered clear of. Having said all the above, and with 40+ years of experience, I really want another one! There’s a Porsche shaped hole on my garage that needs filling!
Bugger, I spent four hours sitting on my own in a restaurant the other night and Lauren still didn't turn up. Guess I know why now....... On a serious note, are you going to start selling the starter detailing kits for 20 or 30 quid again Joe? I missed out before because I am not on instagram or tick tock etc. Cheers, Tony.

Well said!
Poor James couldn’t get a word in. Great advice from everyone, but I’d go with James’s advice to keep it simple and Dave’s advice to do it today
Very interesting podcast. Some very good advice for Simon who seems very knowledgeable. He should definitely start doing social media.
Very interesting as always , thank you ...
Living the dream! Congrats Simon

We just need decent internet!
Classics dont tend to come back with warranty claims
Maybe when you get Berrow Airlines started you could get Simon on to mentor you !
My afternoon watch cheers Joe 👍👍
Hope Simon’s flying me to majorca on Saturday morning from manchester 😂😎
If I was in the market, I’d buy from him. Honest dealer 👍
Great chat. I think James’s broadband is lagging. He could do with fibre to the premises and a new pc for Christmas.
Who's smoke alarm battery needs changing ? Annoying chirp in the background.
I think Dave should have pitched the Boxter higher that 3k
😊😊
Joe I love your work mate 👍
Good morning. Nice one. Time for a cuppa and feet up. Tony. 😊

I was also listening to hear any mention of the IMS bearing- James did ask about the IMS bearing on the boxster he brought from Dave 49:10
