That's so cute! Lol as far as movement, there is no general age one needs to wait in order to start discovering new dimensions of movement, so long it is not a complex movement or a movement that involves weights. General movement is healthy and we dare to say it's an optimal way of living for the youth, just like running, sports, playing, and having a physically active lifestyle is.

So he is stuck at home, trying to climb windows, trying to stand on his head and just generally driving us crazy. :D... Talking about not doing anything weights...that is one of the things he wants to do the *most*, playing with dumbbells and kettlebells. (SMH)

Great question. The short answer is, train it by cycles. Focus on strength training for a month or two. Once you're done with that cycle, start a new cycle focused on hypertrophy. Do that for another month or two.
I'm struggling with this exercise!! I can't maintain this position for 5 sets of 1 minute with 1 minute between each set. I think the weight of the legs has a significant impact on achieving this result (5 sets... in the full version). Have you some advices for me to overcome this stall? Thank you very much.
