    Finally! Everywhere you just get tips for stretches to fix the tilt. Even if you start wearing the flat shoes, you still (I still have) the habit of shifting my weight onto the toes. So it is stretches, shoes and habit. Thank you!!

    You're on the right path. :) The lower lumbar extensors will also need to be stretched. And where you have short tight muscles you'll also have long week antagonists. Those would be the abdominals and glutes. You'll need to do some strengthening of the lower abdominals as well as the hamstrings and glutes.

    Adding these stretches to my low back strength/mobility workout list. Thanks for the explanation! I always blamed my big butt for putting my back in anterior tilt, it was probably the sneakers!

    Have been enjoying your psoas stretches. I’ve been having quite a bit of pain, from what I’m guessing, is from my hip flexors. I’ve read that a tight psoas can affect the sciatic nerve.
    I have had zero drop shoes for years, but haven’t worn them in a while. I just grabbed a pair to wear! 😁 Thanks for the reminder!

    I only wonder how you miss talking about tightening the transverse abdominis to protect the low back in the psoas stretch

      Thank you for bringing that up! You are absolutely right, engaging the transverse abdominis is important for protecting the low back during the psoas stretch.

    Thanks for the quality of you research and videos Lucas. There is so much things on the internet it's hard to figure out who's right and wrong cause no one says on what they base what they show. Talking about it I've spent years trying to find something on fixing bow legs... Which muscle to stretch, which one to reinforce. I think it's linked with hip flexors and thigh muscles but would love if you could make a video about it. A LOT of people are struggling with this. Kind of like your masterclass on feet. Happy to share you my research if you want I've collected some interesting videos along the years but no idea if they are science based but they sound "plausible"...

Could only walk with a walking stick pain has eased but left me with an anterior pelvic tilt…

    what about negative drop shoe around the house?

    • @YOGABODY.Official
      @YOGABODY.Official  7 месяцев назад

      If you don't go barefoot around the house, that can work for you as it promotes better posture and alignment to reduce strain on the lower back and joints. However, it's important to find shoes that are comfortable and provide adequate support for your specific needs.

    Don’t do this stretch at 12:00 / the hip extension is coming from the lower back. Which is the main contributor to the wrong pattern. You need to teach your body to get real hip extension from the hips. Also this really flares up your hip capsule.
