What did you study as your major?
Not taking any credits away from CS Dogo and you for passing the course, but if you needed to watch his videos to pass a introductory course, then you have a bigger problem.
The Crow tell me how to learn codes, java, python, c language or whatever online for free as a beginner. Even books. You seem to know. Highly appreciated.

Matter of fact 100k per year in Silicon Valley can’t get you a good life. My rent here is like 3k per month for one bed room. Other costs are higher than other parts of the US as well.

I was worried about replacing my high-end older oasis with this one ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCgPI5O2AtmcHq9SJhgsCGbpAzJAJfrJp but it is surprisingly light and the screen resolution is just as good. I never had the warm light on my old kindle, but i do not use it on the ipad so I will probably not need it. I think the only thing I'll miss is the self-adjusting light, but this is so worth it!

The central theme I wanted to convey in this video is that “follow your passion” is not always the best advice.
Of course, it would be great if you could do what you love every day to make a living, but sometimes it’s just neither feasible nor realistic.
For example, I’m really passionate about stand-up comedy. So, when I left Google, should I have pursued it instead of working on my RUclips channel? Probably not.
People wanted to watch my educational RUclips videos because they couldn’t find them anywhere else. On the other hand, there are enough great stand-up comedians out there-- so it would’ve been much harder for me to compete with them.
So, I believe that a much better course of action (for most people) is to focus on people’s needs-- in other words, a gap in the market.
The more VALUE you provide to the world, the more VALUABLE you become. Once you’re in a strong position like that, you can then slowly shift your work so that it aligns better with your passion :)

I worked for long time for CNRS in France as Eng. of R & D in biophysic and molecular structure , I enjoyed hugely when I watched your first video and I continued to watch others one by one, I can say you are wonderful young man, please continue. you have all the excellent characters that a scientific person can have in his life.
There's always a gap in the market for high effort and thoroughly thought-out content.
I don't understand why there are so many rude comments. It's his life and his decision. If he left the company, because he had a different vision, then it's not your part to bitterly mumble that 'oh, he got fired' or be overly sarcastic. ..and we all know that working for Google as an engineer is rather different from working 'for' Google as a creator in RUclips. C'mon people.. you're better than this.

So I've looked for starting /entry software engineer positions and overall they're around $70K for most companies. I haven't looked into google but I would say probably 80K if you talked them into it probably 90K.

Google still gets money from him using their platform creating content. So basically he still works for Google. The same goes for people posting their pictures on Facebook could be considered as FB’s profitable content because there are ads to be seen everywhere.
This is why I started subscribed to him years ago. I knew that he would do everything he is possibly capable of doing to help us all. :) I finally am back rewatching your python videos as recap for my python class!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!
