One of the greatest filmmakers of 20th century. On The Beach, Judgment at Nurenberg, It's Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Ship of Fools, R.P.M., these are films I will never forget, they always in my memory and in my Film Collection. Thank you for the chance to see him that vividly and live, in flash and blood (I've never seen him before, only pictures).
Because this is the only way to archive any live television prior to tape, in fact this was about a year before Ampex released their well-known 2" tape (or 5cm) and even then kinescopes were still common due to the high cost of tapes back then
No "Hello", or "Welcome", just straight in with "How come some of your films are so sh**?"

Looks to me like quite a nice 405 line kinoscope. Love this early television history, thank you !

Smoking on television.
Didn’t some snooker players smoke on tv too?
Can’t imagine it now.
Años 50 era bien visto y casi nadie creia que era un veneno☠,no se pensaba como droga dañina y para esta gente era simbolo de status.......
Should be compulsory.
How old are you?
So? People used to smoke everywhere why not TV? I remember
What's with the Horatio Nelson impersonation?
