This is bloody excellent. We need a full album! I am really stoked for what you came up with! It sounds amazing, and I'm sorry it took so long to find you!
Thank you a lot! I hope the video will get 300 likes and I'll upload a full version of the song:) Also, I'm working on the next song from a similar genre:)
Love it! But as a GenXer, I'm a bit amused to hear New Wave re-branded as Post-Punk...not that it isn't, but we never called it that, as Punk ran alongside New Wave. Cheers! 😊
Fellow Gen Xer. I always thought of Duran Duran, Human League, etc as New Wave, and Post Punk as Joy Division, the Cure, etc. There was something more garage rock about post punk. New Wave seemed more synth driven and poppy. But we’re splitting hairs. All the best.
WOW! You should be signed! That was fucking great. Can you make more of this stuff showing us how to use logic too? I have this and I’m trying to be like you are lol
Thank you for such a kind comment! In the future, there will be videos where I show how I record electric guitars and other instruments. But today, I posted a video on how to dial in a guitar tone like the shoegaze band DIIV.
It was my custom build (you can check the first video on my channel where I built this guitar). But recently my friend donated me this neck from Valiant guitar:) I couldn't believe that neck fitted my custom body and now guitar looks awesome
This is new-wave, not post punk. Post punk is Billy Idol It's an easy mistake to make, they often get lumped together because they have a similar sound, but post punk has a darker, harsher, rawer, more heavy distorted sound to it compared to new-wave. Post Punk also has much less of a reliance on synthesizers than new-wave does.
Joy Division is post punk, but new wave and post punk are very close and a lot of those bands often crossed the distinction. Billy Idol did new wave stuff too.
@@TarkasBane sure of course, there was plenty of overlap, but overall, post-punk is made with guitar, bass and drums, maybe a little bit of synth, and can have some shredding and lots of distortion. whereas new-wave is more easy listening, uses synthesizers as the primary sound, and uses more gentle clean sounds, and certainly no shredding.
when i heard the slavic accent i was sold
Haha, awesome💪💪

Thank you a lot, I really appreciate it! There will be a full version of a song soon:)
I needed to see this. Im always trying to overcomplicate unnecessarily when writing.
Thanks.
Thank you for the feedback:)
if you used even more reverb, and pitch-shifted EVERYTHING an octave lower, you would have a goth/dark-wave track
ohh, that's true:)
Maybe I'll try to make dark wave song next time
I’d argue this could already be considered goth/darkwave, maybe just with different mixing on the vocals
The goth rock its defined by the melody, more than the ecualization
@@TeVoyAMear it would be more dark-wave goth rather than goth-rock (Think Lebanon Hanover rather than Bauhaus)
Straight to the point, love it !
Thank you!
i love this so much man. i keep re-watching this video, it's incredibly entertaining and i love post-punk. good one brother 👏
I enjoyed watching all the different instruments coming together. The song is really good. Do more!
Thank you a lot! I hope the video will get 300 likes and I'll upload a full version of the song:)

Wonderful tutorial and a superb song. Keep on

Dude you deserve more, really cool song and video 🔥
Thank you a lot!
As someone who traveled thru that time, you Def are in the early 80s with this track. 👍
Thank you!

Thank you a lot! I put a lot of effort into this song:)

Thank you! I'm using EZdrummer 3 for drums (bright room set) and Juno Synth from Arturia
Loving it!!!! ☺

Amazing! So good! Love how clean and together it sounds!
Thank you:)
new-wave + heavy metal = industrial metal
The St. Vincent guitar body shape is maybe one of the best thing to happen to guitar during my lifetime.
I love this shape too:)
Well it wasn't the first.. Gretsch did it first
St Vincent sucks balls

Amazing song.
Excellent! Joy Division with more joy!
haha, thank you!
AWESOME

Thank you!
The melodies are very effective, I personally would add maybe some keyboard or guitar notes as a intro, maybe in a Cure-ish way. But I dig it
thanks:)
Sounds a lot like Interpol, awesome
Thank you!
Hell yeah man!
💪💪💪
298 likes, we're pretty close! nice tune man
Thank you!

Awesome
Thank you!
😎 Good job 👍 keep it up
Thank you!
Not bad at all. A little tweak here and there, but overall, sounds just like the early eighties. Subbed
thanks:)
Wow! Make an album!
Thank you, it's my dream for now:)
What is the preset for the synth melody on the Arturia Juno?
where did that Valiant guitar come from? it looks, um, inspired by St Vincent
It was my custom build (you can check the first video on my channel where I built this guitar). But recently my friend donated me this neck from Valiant guitar:)
I couldn't believe that neck fitted my custom body and now guitar looks awesome
Sure.. Yea. EASY. I could do that if I felt like it… I just don’t feel like it.
What is that guitar???
it's my custom build (local luthier made the body and my friend donated me the neck from Valiant guitar:)
@@OlehRivers Very unique! It looks great
Interpol
what kind of guitar is that!?
Which one?
@ the one with the Humbuckers and body shape, I’ve never seen anything like it!
I think it’s a st. Vincent music man model but with a different neck
@@T.Y.D.D.i.T.BThere's a video about that guitar on this channel.
hey bro
What's up
So you've changed the neck ? why ?
I'll make a video about it:)
only slavic people can make true post punk songs ahah
Nice vibe, like it a lot, your English while singing can use a upgrade, but the music is great, keep it up!
Thank you a lot! I'm working on my English right now:)
The english pronunciation just adds to the vibe. Gj!
Hi Oleh, you have twin brother in Ukraine, do you know this?)
I like guitar
Me too, thank you:)
If someone needs to be taught how to make post-punk, they probably shouldn’t be making post-punk.
haha:)
letsgoski!
This is new-wave, not post punk.
Post punk is Billy Idol

Post punk is joy division, tear drop explodes, magazine, echo and the bunnymen, Siouxie and the banshees, bau haus, the chameleons......
Not post punk.....but still good ....thanks
Thank you:)
