If unification is possible, South Korea will have a much stronger military and economy, so South Korea will unify, but realistically, North Korea is an ally with communist China, so unification will not be easy.
You know the thing that always makes me feel bad about both of the Korea's is that how they were formerly ONE and ONLY Korea in other part of their timeline, until the Korean War started (just a few years after WW2 ended), and then they were drastically separated and isolated between each other, turning into completely different societies and cultures for almost 80 years now, being almost hard to believe that South and North Korea were really just one and identical country in other time. While South Korea is nowadays one of the most richest, modern and peaceful countries in the world, North Korea is completely the opposite. Being its north counterpart as a totalitarian religious cult of terrorists, disguised as country, brainwashing their people, isolated them completely from the rest of the world, starving them to death, sending them to their own gulags for ridiculous charges against them, like having any type of foreign products, specially from capitalist countries, having authorities so brutal and unhuman like the imperial japanese army from WW2.
north Korea is capitalist now, the government has given up on managing and controlling supplies and capital on the civilian level. the border between China and NK is not controlled and there are lots of trade going on. the famine was in the 90s after the collapse of the USSR and the most complete sanctions against them by the US. NK is no longer starving just poor. Korea was one nation for around 1000 years until the first Sino Japanese war. during ww2 Korea's government was in China. after ww2 Korea elected their own government but the US sent in the military and removed the Korean government and installed their military dictator who then started mass killings of communists as the former Korean government was left leaning. the US then invited the USSR to set up their puppet in the north. like Lincon said, a nation divided against itself cannot stand. this is why Korea is in an endless civil war, China is in an endless civil war and Vietnam almost met the same fate. North Korea is needed for South Korea to be dependent on the US and is thus a chess piece to counter China.
Any country has its pros and cons. South Korea too. I do both love and hate my country. Whatever anyone says, it is me and the people of our country who can curse my country.

Is the song the korean version of "marching through Georgia"?
It's "Song of Korean Resistance" (독립군가)
ruclips.net/video/aV4Vj9AeCxE/видео.html
It had been sung by 'Korean Independance Army' who fought against Japan Empire during 20th
@@llIlIlllIllllIlIl Okay, thank you.
The tune is the same as marching through georgia

Is the song marching through Georgia in Korean?
This song is called Independence Military Song, and the lyrics contain nothing about the United States, and contains the will of Korean independence activists to become independent from Japan, where Japan dominated the Korean Peninsula.

Look like the day north and south reunite is near.
But which will dominate..?
If unification is possible, South Korea will have a much stronger military and economy, so South Korea will unify, but realistically, North Korea is an ally with communist China, so unification will not be easy.
South Korea will dominate they have better allies better equipment better economy etc.

I hope my fatherland unifies and becomes a great economic and peaceful power it could have become one day.
That's what happens when you don't let people pick the government they want.
Any country has its pros and cons. South Korea too.
I do both love and hate my country. Whatever anyone says, it is me and the people of our country who can curse my country.
