Finally some actual good advice and it's not like all the others claiming to know the secret to fix problems like these but turns out to be guy explaining how to take off the faceplate for the majority of the video then blows us away with his amazing ingenuity know how as the guy opens a Brand New USB port w/ ribbon (Amazon PS4 controller USB charging port replacement set) an replaces it... Btw video titles of something like: "what to do" or" how to fix" ... when everyone including video creator damn well knows it's a trick of wordage to get more views. Correct title "how to replace PS4 USB charging port" 😑
The unplugging PS power cable to power cycle and reset controller with pin or earring back was huge. Just dusted off the P4 and had issues connecting. This vid was very useful, thank you much
FOR ALL, all you need to do is to connect a usb keyboard to playstation, to go on settings>devices>bluetooth devices>dualshock 4 and press on keyboard f3 and press "forget device" and then press ps button and share button at the same time and that is
I borrowed a controller from my brother but it wouldn't connect. I didn't know you could go in settings > devices > bluetooth devices. The reason the controller wouldn't connect coz it ran out of slots to connect to. I removed all the controllers except mine (existing working one). Then I connected the borrowed one. i have a question: does the type of micro USB cable you use matter for connecting the controller or not? because 9/10 times what I've read online is that the cable might be the problem. i've had to replace my cables multiple times just recently switching out a controller that doesn't charge with a new one, and that's the one that will charge when plugged in but won't connect. i'll try this method though, totally forgot I could use the remote play app in place of a working controller!
Man thank you brother I just literally was playing and I kept ignoring my game and pressing the controller to keep me from shutting down the. I did let it shutdown and once I turned it on again it wasn't working my controller was exactly what you're explaining was the solution for it thanks man I was freaking out the control was unresponsive only would turn on my PlayStation and not work after this worked my PS4 is really New I barely had bought it cause I sold a old one I had along time ago barekt had it for a year or two now I got it right out the store for only 200 brand new through a friend who would scam lmao but yeah my PlayStation doesn't make any noise or anything i hope as it gets old it never make the jet airplane fan noise i alway keep it clean thank you again this worke perfectly
@YourSixStudios i got a problem my ps4 controller is not turning off at all like I'll press turn off device it will turn off for 1 second then it starts blinking yellow which means its charging and yes it does that wirelessly it just won't ever turn off. And i tried every possible way like turn everything off,different cables and power cords even paired and unpaired with the ps4 anf my phone it not turning off at all .i did everything that i mentioned and other things that you are thinking of that i didn't mention

Can someone help me please because my controler was blinking yellow and when I hold the ps button and look at the bottom where the controler icon is it says it's charging but I don't have it hooked up to the charger but when I hook the controller to the charger the light turns off, I have tried reseting, getting a new charger but I hooked up another controler that my friend gave me and it charges the controller, getting a new plug hole that let's you charge the controller and got a new ribbon cord for the controller too, a new battery that I know worked, and now I'm thinking it's the motherboard but I can't find the right model for the controler so someone please help me.

This is so annoying I did everything but the sync mode does not work. When I hold the ps button and share button down to enter pairing mode, it quickly flashes three times and then stops. I have paired controllers to PC in the past and I know it is supposed to continue the three quick flashes, but mine only flashes 3 times once and then turns off...
@@aayan6502 i figured it out, I don't remember what I did though lmao, I got it working with another controller and I think powered off ps4, plugged in the broken controller and powered the ps4 on with it plugged in. Pretty sure that worked.
Hello, I'm wondering if you can help me connect a controller to my regular ps4. lol this is not your typical situation tho. Short story, connected controller to PC and then won't connect back to ps4. only controller for the system. I have tried 20 diff micro usb, bought a new micro usb from eb games and used the cable from my neighbor that came with his refurbished ps4. I also tried connecting his controller to my ps4 with no success. I've tried hard reset, and safe mode. I've reset the controller countless times. wasn't smart enough to set up remote play before this. can't get past "press ps button" also didn't set up hdmi cec before hand either. PC blue tooth was disconnected and device was forgotten about.
Could be the micro usb port in the controller is toast cuz those tend to be the first thing to fail. If u go to connect it to PS4 to re-pair it make sure it's the first USB port on the front of the PS4 cuz sometimes if u plug it into the bottom USB port the Playstation doesn't always recognize a controller is there. Least that's the problems I've had before.
@@Hotstuff5743 had to use a cable when I first purchased the PC to play as I didn't have a blue tooth dongle at the time with no issue. I also used the controller to check which of the 20+ micro usb cables I have that would transfer data. thanks for the help tho
i can't hear my teammates on streamlabs. I use remote play and my stream and I can't hear theme when I am I streamlabs. I tried connect to my pc but then my teammates don't hear me. 😔

I borrowed a controller from my brother but it wouldn't connect.

Try syncing them back up use the remote app to go to the controllers in settings
