One detail that is not remarked upon that I really like is the chain that binds lucifer. You're destroying it all through the game, on your journey down. As a god of war clone, you're breaking this scenario thing and don't give much thought about it, and at the end it turns out it was all part of the chain that's binding him, and that was his plan all along: using Beatrice as bait to make you go to hell and free him in the process.
Cool game, the sequel should be Dante’s distant great great great grandson who’s Army Special Forces in Afghanistan and a devout Christian. Similar story to Dante but in modern times, he goes to Hell with guns and grenades and stuff. There he encounters Hitler, John Wayne Gacy, John Wilkes Booth… etc.
