Much later in the game in the Shopping Center ou can interact with an ashtray and Heather will comment about quitting smoking....she's 16-17 and is QUITTING smoking making those teen lungs trash 😂

James didn't live in silent hill,his father never mentions that James even went to the town because everyone knew his wife was dead so most likely janes went to silent hill without telling anyone.

I played it today (admittedly I’ve played it before so i kinda know what to do and where to go but I ran around looking for stuff for quite some time in the amusement park and church) and I still got sub 4 hours, like 3 hours and 34 mins. Beat it in genuinely a single sitting, not even any bathroom breaks lmfao Edit: I checked and it was actually 3 hours 18 mins

I used to watch them as a kid and thought the dynamic was brillaint but now I notice in thier earlier LPs Pat really does go off the rails on Matt sometimes, look at thier Homecoming playthrough, he's way too much of a dickhead to Matt. Matt tolerated alot of bullying from Pat and I think that's why Liam left too.

Things are meant to repricent what happened but it wouldn't be silent hill game if it took place in the actual area james and mary lived (unless konami slapped the name on anyway). so the strip club wouldn't have been next door to the actual (un named) hospital.
That old Twin Perfect series gave me such an appreciation for the "weird" acting and direction of the old games. You should watch it if you can make the time.
