That had to be stressful for all. Being in the tree industry I see these stupid comments that people make without any idea what they’re talking about. Your team did an outstanding job rescuing what could have been an absolutely horrible outcome.
That is well and fine...but getting them there in a rapid manner is the issue...we often wait on scene for utilities to be shut off and that takes quite a while...plus, the utility companies don't want to take on that liability. Thanks for your input.
These calls are both not fun and fun for the FD: not fun b/c a life is at stake. Fun b/c it isn’t a fire but takes strategic puzzle solving. Man who cut the fence should have had PPE. However, let’s not be the Monday morning quarterback. 🚨🚑🚒 Deserve our respect.

Highly trained individuals here...no injuries is a win!
What a remarkable rescue and impressive physically fit crew!
Fitness is extremely important.
What a dumb comment to make.
Great job by the special ops team, that's a perfect example in utilizing your equipment at hand.
Never easy....but everyone goes home safe in this one!

Awesome, thank you!
Holy shit all those fire trucks for that 1 guy stuck in a lift. Jacksonville Fire department doesn't mess around.
That's right, we don't mess around...lives matter!
Totally cool rescue and totally cool neighbors eho allowed the room to facilitate it.
lives over property
I feel sorry for the guy stuck in the tree. He may find a new profession after this experience.
he was not in a tree
now they just have to fiure out how to get that man lift out of there that is gonna be interesting
that isn't the problem
Good Job!
thanks
Curious as to why mutual aid aerial did not nose in .
That was their decision...they know their own apparatus better than we do.
@@thejfrd2490 got it. Tks
probably more stable backed in as they could not extend the rear out riggers and it looks like they short jacked the front
Good job 🙃🦘🙃🦘🙃
Thanks 😅
You know they have a save button where someone on the bottom can take him down . Gest he did not know that
That was not the case here...but thanks.
What tree company was this?
Don't use them
Unknown
11:50 who pays to have the fence repaired? Fire department, tree trimming company, or is the homeowner shit out of luck?? 🤔
The city will come in and fix it after we are done.
All got next time call JEA or your co-workers in public works with a boom truck he been down in 5 minutes and most are four wheel drive too

Thanks for your input.
Throw the guy a rope...I always had a climbing rope in my bucket truck- just in case.
Not quite that easy...I think we handled it well...no injuries!
Call another tree company with a bucket. You don't need 10 fire vehicles.
My tree guy climbs the trees.
they didn't call for another tree company...they called the fire department and we did what we do.

Agreed all the way around
At 12:00 firefighter using chain saw to cut through fence with NO safety gear!! And about 7 guys watching and telling him what to do.
thanks for your input
