I can’t listen to this song without thinking of my friend Eric. He was an amazing guy, and friend. Everyone loved Eric, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of his life. Tragically he died in a motorcycle accident, but he died doing what he loved to do. He was everyone’s friend, and that’s no exaggeration, he was everyone’s friend. So many loved him. I think of this song when I think about him, because he told me once that he and his girlfriend loved to sing this song and they would belt it out together when it came on. Watching this makes me remember the time Zac Brown played at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck in Houston (the best place to hear live music). I bought his CD that night and as I was leaving Zac was standing outside and he signed the CD for me. I was impressed that he was so approachable down-to-earth. Not long after that he made it big time. So glad I got to see him perform in such an intimate venue as McGonigel’s Micky Duck.
This is great, to see an artist like shawn mendez preform alongside one of the best country bands in the industry. Truly the magic of music put on a pedestal.

I've never been a fan of Zac Brown after he was talking ugly about my man Luke Bryan years ago. After saying that, after I heard this song on the voice a couple of times, I have listened to this video so many times and I love this song. I've never listened to Shawn before but I love his voice. This video is from 2018 and Shawn has a great evolution in his voice and proves it in the 2020 lives (for people in comments who think they know so much about music *but don't know*) his voice has always been great and has only improved over the years, if you haven't liked music >in this style < ok, BUT you don't need to distill your hate for no reason or at least update yourself.
