It could have happened. The problem was that West Pakistanis were oppressing East Pakistanis. If there wasn't this sort of power imbalance and ethnic cleansing then maybe United Pakistan would have been a pretty good state in my eyes.

Brother Brits divided India(especially sub regions like Punjab and Bengal) because it was the part of their greater plan so that India(i mean before partition one) can never come out of the problems that they created. To keep India aside, to stop it from being powerful again, they did this.

Here are some things i want to say-
1. When bangladesh was a part of Pakistan, brngali people decided to make bangla a state language because it was sweet language spoken by their mother's tongue. But Pakistan didn't want that and wanted urdu to be the state language instead of bangla with same reason. So bengali people decided to get independence and sacrifice their lives for their mother language. In 1971, india helped bangladesh to be an independent country. But i respect Pakistan because they are also Muslims like us and we should not fight with them.
2. Way back in 1945-1947, the Jews of boni Israel which is now called Israel were attacked by germany's (h)you know. A lot of them were killed by (h). The people of Israel, the Jews asked Palestine to give them somewhere to live. And Palestine gave them a land to leave with peace but just as the jews gathered, they started attacking Palestine and killing the little babies and children too. Palestinians were backstabed by israel. The Palestinians muslims sacrifice their lives for the masjid Al Aqsa for their strong faith in Allah. So they were never separated.

Pakistan was formed on the base of religion not on the basis of ethnicity.... There were alot of ethnicities in Pakistan...if bangali was made national language then it was hard for state of Pakistan to implement this decision because it was in contrast to country ideology.....
