thank you for all the songs! My kids love them. I love the November tune, so I use the tune you created and wrote other verses for September, October, and December. Interestingly though, I was just looking through a book I used for a number of years now, "A Journey Through Time With Verse and Rhyme" and the November verses are credited to Margaret Morgan.
Would love to hear your lyrics for the other months ;-)

Good morning! These are beautiful! Are they pentatonic? I guess some are, some aren't... I'm becoming 1st grade teacher soon in The Czech Republic. I'partly frightened...
Zuzana Bařinková Hi Zuzana, thank you. I'm glad you like them. And yes, some are pentatonic and some aren't. Personally I don't worry about that much anymore provided the song is of a gentle nature.....the children of today can handle a little diatonic before 3rd-4th grade. I think. Also, congratulations on becoming the first grade teacher! That's wonderful, and I would suggest focusing on the word "becoming." Your whole life has brought you to this moment and your dear students have called you to them. The fear is normal and good. I have been teaching for nearly 20 years and I still have fear somedays. The main thing, if I may suggest, is to have fun and help make your space, your presence, open and comfortable for your students. Love matters most. Peace, Joseph
