We just had a game night with friends and broke out this brand new game. Nobody had ever played it. We spent about 20 minutes fumbling around with the instructions. I held up my phone and we all took 10 minutes and watched this video. No more questions or confusion. We all understood all the rules. Thank you.
Fantastic explanation, as usual, Rodney. All this time I've been playing this game, I never realized that thematically I was supposed to be *riding* these trains. I always thought I was *building* them. You really do learn something new every day.
Really excited to see you covering classic titles that can help get people into the hobby. I think you're one of the hobby's best ambassadors for new players so it's great that people will be able to find you when trying out some gateway games!
Just got ticket to ride yesterday and was a bit overwhelmed with the specificness of the rules - but I watched this and you gave an amazing explanation of how It's played! Thanks Rodney!
I really like these videos. They are to the point and the host manages to be both professional and friendly. These are more helpful than manuals you get with your games.
Got this for my dad for Christmas, has he had wanted it for a while. My mom doesn’t like complicated games (villainous) so she quits before we start. For Villainous and this wonderful game, you have been helpful to keep all the players at the table!
I wanted to check that I understood the rules before my husband and I played Ticket to Ride for the first time. You explained the rules so clearly. Thanks. This is another fun game to play on cold winter nights.

This is my first video of yours i've watched. I must say, you are very thorough and detailed in the gameplay. I really enjoyed it and I am actually going to mostly use your videos as sources to future games I might get! thank you so much!
Played this game first time last week. I dont play video games and dont have anybody to play with so just now downloaded the app on the iphone. Came for hints so i can win haha
Hi Jana, I'm not quite sure what you mean. It sounds like maybe you are under the impression that when you place trains they must connect to other trains you already have in play, (but you don't have to) - see here: ruclips.net/video/4JhFhyvGdik/видео.html - let me know if that answered the question.
Thank you so much for this video. You were concise and pleasant to listen to. I bought Ticket to Ride - Europe (and India/Switzerland expansion pack) as a surprise for my group of friends. I watched a video and it's pretty complex for us newbies (me especially as I will be presenting the rules of the game). .. So I'll be buying this original, easier format. You've given me confidence that we can learn it easily enough and then venture onto Europe - with ferries, tunnels and more options. .Thanks so much!!
Hey, an excellent way to do it - get confident with this version, and then have the other one when you're ready for some extra element - very glad the video was helpful!
I bought this game for my 8 year old for Christmas and you are a blessing to a family that would have been so frustrated trying to learn the game! You explained everything so well! Thank you! I have subscribed to your channel and will give you a thumbs up! 😊
This guy is so thorough in his explanation. I don't own this game and became kind of interested because it came up a lot on top board games. So I wanted to see how it's played if I'd like it. After watching this, it seems fun and enjoyable.
Thank you for the video, and thank you in advance for answering my questions. Here are my questions. 1) If on my turn, I first select a card off the top of the deck, can I pick a locomotive from the five face up cards as my second card. Yes or No (One of the reasons I am asking is because in your video when you picked from the deck and got the locomotive, you are allowed to pick a second card either from the deck or from the face up cards. When you illustrated this, you swept your finger across all five face up cards including the locomotive.) 2) If I pick up my first card from the 5 face up cards and the replacement card is a locomotive, can I pick it up as my second card. Yes or No 3) can you help me understand the last statement regarding the tie breaker when you talk about the longest route? If the two tied players had the longest route card seems like it will be a tie.
1) Nope, you wouldn't be able to in that case. If you take a regular card, you cannot take a locomotive card as your second. This is detailed here: ruclips.net/video/4JhFhyvGdik/видео.html 2) See above. 3) Player 1 & 2 might have 100 points, but player 3, who only had 80 points, might have actually had the longest route, and therefore claimed the card - so when tie breaking between player 1 & 2, even though neither of them has the longest route for the game, between them, you check to see who had the longest single route for the purposes of breaking the tie. Hope that helps!

I planned on playing this game with my wife and mother in law, but there were just a few of the more strange situation rules I just did not understand. Thank you for making it more clear. Now I feel confidant enough to give a match a try.
I very much enjoyed your presentation (best one I've watched).... but still have a couple of questions that I've been given contradicting answers to. Question 1: If your destination card is Houston to Portland (for example), can you "claim" ANY section within that route with first move? An example would be: Yellow section between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Or do you have to start from either the Destination Station or the Departure Station? Question 2: (If answer to Question 1 is that you must start from either the Destination or Departure Stations) If you do begin with Portland, (playing the 5 green cars) do you have to continue adding to your train from that direction only... or can you claim a route further down, skipping a section for the moment? Or even claiming the section from the opposite end of your route, El Paso to Houston? In these cases, you would then go back at another turn and place cars on sections that are in between routes that you completed on prior turns. Just to be clear... I'm talking about ONE destination card only. (I realize that you can be working on multiple destinations at the same time.)
Hey Sharalyn, 1) You can claim ANY section of the map, no matter what Destination cards you might be holding. For example, you could claim San Francisco to Los Angeles, even if that was not a part of any of your destination routes. The benefit in claiming sections that are part of your destination routes, is that you may be able to complete a line that connects those too locations, which can then provide you with points at the end of the game. 2) You can claim routes anywhere on the board, in any order, and none of them have to be connected to any other routes you've already claimed.
I've been curious on how to play this since I've seen them in Wal-Mart and Target. Especially the London one since I recently became married and we visited England and took the train and the "tube" many times during our 11-day visit. It was pretty cool seeing the stops that looked familiar. I might have to hop on the "Ticket to the Ride" train and pick this up. Thanks for your well done demonstration on how to play.
You did a great job explaining the game. I am in a class to teach a strategy board game design at my high school and part of the classes grade is explaining a game to your group. This is helping me so much.
Thanks! We got s bunch of new games for Christmas and your videos are the best for explaining how to play. You cover everything we need to know and the quality of your videos is great. I watched a few different ones for this and Splendor and your videos are soooo much better. Thanks again!
Question: when you have completed your routes and you see your opponent/s have very few train cars left, do you have to draw another destination card? If you don’t, what do you do for the final several turns? Can you lay train cars down on routes that you don’t have destination cards for?
Hey Cyn, jut so it's clear, you can always put trains down on any route. They never have to be helping you complete your Destination cards. You also never have to draw additional destination cards. So, if I had all mine completed and it was near the end of the game, I would just try to claim routes on the board for the points they give. Does that make sense?
Thank you but if a player runs out of destination cards so will the player in its next turn have to pick destination cards or we can make random routes without destination cards ?
Additionally, I hope you do all the classics, such as Catan, Carc, Cosmic, etc etc.. so I can use them as a simple to follow pre-gaming tool for those new to gaming.
Thanks so much for making this tutorial!!! my wife and I are playing lots of games at home and in board game events and this channel has helped us to learn them super quickly 🥳
I had some trouble distinguishing the blue and green trains. For future accessibility for people with some form of colorblindness, I recommend using colours with non-adjacent colours where possible (and also not red/green or yellow/blue, which are the most common colorblindness varieties).
This video is perfect, I'm currently trying to convince my cousins we should play a boardgame or 2 at Christmas this year instead of watching 2 player video games. They only really know games like Clue or Monopoly. There are 5 of us.
Thank you for the very clear explanations. It's so much better than reading the rule book when you first buy the game and means we can get going very quickly.
What a clearly communicated, straightforward, and comprehensive explanation -- great job!!! I have never played this game and am investigating it -- we love games at home but somehow missed this one over the years, and it seems to have legions of fans. Thanks to you breaking it down the way you did, I'm going to get a copy and dig in. Nice job, no hurried explanations or confusing concepts == great pacing, simple to follow -- really appreciate that.
I used this video again yesterday, now that I bought the game, and was breaking it out to play it for the first time -- and I thought showing your video to my wife and son instead of me trying to explain it to them would go better -- and it did. Very clearly explained, thanks again. We had a lot of fun.
Point of clarification if you would. If someone draws a face down card from the top of the deck can you then draw the locomotive card from the face up cards or no?
SO SO CLEAR!! AMAZINGLY EXPLAINED!😀💫💥 Thanks so much! Me and my sister had watched a few videos and were so confused, then we found yours and I kept saying out loud 'this is so clear', and we had to keep rewinding so she could concentrate 😅
Happy to see an older title! While I understand that you have to keep up with new games from publishers, it'd be great to see some older games like this for those wanting to build their collection. Even a 10/90 split between old vs new games would be great! Keep up the good work!
If I complete the routes in my hand before a player has only two trains, do I have to continue to pick up ticket route card or able I able to just continue to lay trains down without having a mission?
You are never required to have destination cards, or toy even work on their routes if you do have them. You can always just put trains down to gain points that way, if you want. Have fun playing!
Great video!! We just had family game night and we opened our new Ticket to Ride game. This video helped us get started fast!! Thank you for the quick, concise and easy to follow instructions. 😁👍
I just bought Age of Steam and I was like "wait I think I need something people-friendly of a train-themed board game" and the number 1 that pops in the internet is this. Glad I bought the Europe 15th Anniversary because not only the production is quality at its best but I'm so surprised how simple but addicting the game is, much more than AOS actually 😅. But the latter is for an occassional brain burn I seek. Nice tutorial video!
➡️6:51 What if you draw 3 new destination tickets and one of those destination tickets are already completed before you even draw the 3 new destination tickets, Can i keep the ticket thats already completed and get the points immedietly? Or i should choose a ticket thats not finish?
Just received my promo material in Spain. Thanks Rodney. I love the standee for dead of winter even though I don’t have the game. You may be making an appearance as a boss in my Gloomhaven campaign though lol.
I’m trying to understand at 9:40 the tie situation when he says the “even when they did not have the longest continuous path over all”. How does that make sense if one person would have gotten the longest continuous path? I really don’t understand what he says I can’t even find in the rule book. Is that an error on his part?
Let's say there are 3 players, and the scores are: Player A: 80 Player B: 80 Player C: 60 Player A & B are tied. They check, and both have completed the same number of Destination Tickets. So, there's still a tie. Now A & B check to see which of "them" had the longest continuous train track (even if it was Player C who had the LONGEST continuous track overall). Hope that helps. And yes, this is correct. I worked with the publisher directly (sometimes I have to get them to give me additional clarifications if the rule book doesn't cover every detail, so you won't always find the confirmation there).
@@WatchItPlayed thank you so much. I understand completely now. I think my mind was just focused on two player gameplay because that’s mostly what it play. I are cute the response. Thank you again
This is really helpful for me and my family, we're not long into playing board games, so this is really helpful, as was the carcassonne video too. Thank you very much.
Great how to play video as always Rodney. This game is a big favorite of my family because it is so easy and fun to play. This was a great tutorial for new players and even a fun video for the experienced players like myself. I hope you keep doing videos for "classic" games such as this (Memoir 44 perhaps?) and continue to keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for the kind words Will! I'm certainly considering doing more classics in the future, though I won't announce them ahead of time just in case my schedule changes.
Great explanation ! I ain't going to lie, I found the rules for this game really confusing ! But after watching a few videos they are slowly starting to make sense.
You just give up one card, and the plastic piece station piece. At the end you get four points for each station piece remaining so using one station costs you four points.
I really appreciate your skill in being clear, synthetic and also comprehensive while explaining... Do you prepare a written list of things to say beforehand and then make the video?
So for a double track, do left and right order matter? I. E. if I'm left track going from a city to another, then I become right track from that same city to the next, does that still count as continuous?
@@WatchItPlayed so I played my first time yesterday and I don't know if it was house rules or not but the host said that if you go into a particular city on one of the double tracks, let's say the left track, you'd have to come out of that city on the leftmost track (if there are double tracks) for it to count as continuous for the longest tracks and route cars. Like if I went into OKC from Kansas City on the left side of the double tracks, it wouldn't count as continuous on longest tracks or route cards if I went from OKC into Dallas on the right side of the double tracks. I couldn't find it anywhere in the rules that it wouldn't count and just says it's "implied." I felt like such an important technicality would be outright stated.
@@WatchItPlayed I'm so butchering what I mean lol. i.imgur.com/PEg4bQR.jpg The situation I meant is described by the red I colored in. From Dallas to OKC and OKC to Kansas City. Would that be considered continued of 4, even though they're on different sides of the double tracks?
I agree with Tyler down below; it is great that you are going back and covering some of these older games. Essentially, I had not played this for a while and needed a refresher. I was able to run your vid on 1.25 speed and picked the rules up again in a jiffy. Thank you!
Like many here this video is not news to me but I still enjoyed watching every minute and was keen to pick up any explanation pointers I may have been lacking previously. Although I think exploring the different maps in people's own time is a good thing, I think there could be room for a small addendum video just covering the rule variations in the other games. I don't know how practical that would be in practice but I know some of the newer rules can be rather advanced and could benefit from a Rodney explanation. Thank you for this video and I eagerly await the next
5:50 so what if you claimed 3 out of 4 of that blue route, can someone else come in after you and spend one blue/wild card to screw you over, or... is that not an option?
I'm looking at that section of the video, and I'm wondering if you time stamped the wrong section? That said, I think I understand your question. When you claim a route between two connected cities, you must claim the ENTIRE path - you can't claim just part of it. You'll find that explained here: ruclips.net/video/4JhFhyvGdik/видео.htmlfeature=shared&t=194 - let me know if that helps!
@@WatchItPlayed Yeah, maybe a bit confusing... It's not about what you said, but the image that we see. I think I got it, you need to be able to claim the entire route, not merely part of it and finish it the next turn. Right? Then my question didn't even make sense :)
Thanks for this! I was wondering if one is permitted to, for example, put 6 white cars on a path that isn't part of their route just for the purpose of gaining the 15 points? Or do you need to stick exactly with the journeys on your cards?
Hi Nicole, yes, you certainly are. Remember, you don't have to complete any of our Destination ticket routes (although you lose points for incomplete ones at the end of the game). But more directly to your question, you can claim any path between two cities anywhere, as long as you have the matching train cards. They don't have to make up any part of a route on your Destination cards. On a separate, but perhaps related note: don't forget, when connecting two cities shown on a Destination ticket, you don't have to create a direct path, so your 6 white trains might eventually become a part of a route by the time the game is over!
Thanks to your playlist, “new to board game? Start here!”, game night is now a family tradition. We got 5 board games out of the 7 that was recommended on the playlist. Can you make another playlist of what games to get next. Thanks.
For a route of three, do you have to have three cards ready to complete a route, or can you do two cards in one play and then finish it when you draw another card that fits in?
Thanks for another great video. This is a great game for friends of all ages, I played a digital version first. Really like it so I purchased the US version and another expansion. The game flow is smooth and simple with very interesting route building elements for most people I know.
Great review. My question is say you keep 2 destination tickets from the start and complete them. Do you have to draw more or can you complete the game with no more active destination cards in your hand?
Wow. Another great classic and one that I bought late into my collection. Great job as usual. Such a kid-friendly game also but equally awesome with adults. Thanks for this one, Rodney!
I have a question. If you draw from the face down pile on your first draw can you then pick up the multicolored train that is face up on your second draw?
Nope, because if you pick up a "face up" multicolored train, that can be the only card you pick up that turn - and since you already picked up one other card, it means you can't. Hope that helps!
We just had a game night with friends and broke out this brand new game. Nobody had ever played it. We spent about 20 minutes fumbling around with the instructions. You did a great job explaining the game. I am in a class to teach a strategy board game design at my high school and part of the classes grade is explaining a game to your group. This is helping me so much.
So glad to assist, and great to hear you're sharing the joy of the hobby to high schoolers!
Thanks! We got s bunch of new games for Christmas and your videos are the best for explaining how to play. You cover everything we need to know and the quality of your videos is great. I watched a few different ones for this and Splendor and your videos are soooo much better. Thanks again!
Thank you so much Tammy, I'm glad these have been helpful. I hope you have a great time playing with your new Christmas board game collection :)
Thank you so much. This is a brand new game to our family. We have not seen it played or played it ourselves. This was very helpful.
So glad it helped - have a great time playing!
Love the game. Europe is funnier with tunnels and ferries
You could, for sure. BUT...if you have good connections, you might want to draw more destination cards to see if you can grab extra points!
Now this got me thinking of finally getting this game. Great explanation as always.
Appreciated Kenneth!
So glad I found this. Brought this for my babies for Christmas but I hadn’t heard of it before. Seems like a lot of fun
It’s a really great game - I hope you all have a wonderful time playing. Merry Christmas!
Thank you but if a player runs out of destination cards so will the player in its next turn have to pick destination cards or we can make random routes without destination cards ?
Hey Rashmi, you can always make random routes, whether you have destination cards or not.
Such a professional. I really enjoy everything you do for the hobby and I wish you nothing but the best.
Additionally, I hope you do all the classics, such as Catan, Carc, Cosmic, etc etc.. so I can use them as a simple to follow pre-gaming tool for those new to gaming.
That's very kind, thank you Danny!
Thanks so much for making this tutorial!!! my wife and I are playing lots of games at home and in board game events and this channel has helped us to learn them super quickly 🥳
That's so nice to hear - I hope you both have a great time playing this one!
Perhaps the best instructional video I've ever seen. Brilliant. and thank you for your work.
You are too kind - thank you Necia!
I had some trouble distinguishing the blue and green trains. For future accessibility for people with some form of colorblindness, I recommend using colours with non-adjacent colours where possible (and also not red/green or yellow/blue, which are the most common colorblindness varieties).
Yes, a good note for the publishers, to be sure.
This video is perfect, I'm currently trying to convince my cousins we should play a boardgame or 2 at Christmas this year instead of watching 2 player video games. They only really know games like Clue or Monopoly. There are 5 of us.
I hope they give it a shot with you!
Thank you for the very clear explanations. It's so much better than reading the rule book when you first buy the game and means we can get going very quickly.
So glad you're finding it helpful!
Great explanation! Thank you! Finally I feel ready to buy it! Your explanation makes the game sound so easier to understand!
So glad to hear - I hope you have a great time playing it!
@@WatchItPlayed Thank you! 😊
That's really nice feedback to get - I'm glad you liked the video!
I used this video again yesterday, now that I bought the game, and was breaking it out to play it for the first time -- and I thought showing your video to my wife and son instead of me trying to explain it to them would go better -- and it did. Very clearly explained, thanks again. We had a lot of fun.
Ah, thanks for the positive report. Very glad to hear it was helpful!
Point of clarification if you would. If someone draws a face down card from the top of the deck can you then draw the locomotive card from the face up cards or no?
Nope, because you can't publicly take a Wild card and a second card.
Thank you
THANK YOU YOUR INSTRUCTIONS WERE GREAT, FAR BETTER DONE THAN THE COUPLE OF OTHER VIDEOS I WATCHED.
Very glad to know it was helpful!
I'm so happy to hear that you found this video helpful - I hope you both have a great time playing!
Thanks for the video! This is my first time playing the game tonight you explained it very well!
Thanks Roosevelt, I hope you had a good time playing!
@@WatchItPlayed it was a very fun game thanks!
Happy to see an older title! While I understand that you have to keep up with new games from publishers, it'd be great to see some older games like this for those wanting to build their collection. Even a 10/90 split between old vs new games would be great! Keep up the good work!
Thanks Ryan, we'll have another classic releasing today :)
it's 2022 and I thought this game was only a year old 🙄🤣
This was the best instructional video for Ticket to Ride. Very intuitive and clear. Thank you!
Very kind of you to say - glad you enjoyed it Sarah!
Thanks for asking my question! And for a response of course! 😉
Great video!! We just had family game night and we opened our new Ticket to Ride game. This video helped us get started fast!! Thank you for the quick, concise and easy to follow instructions. 😁👍
So good to know it was helpful Matt - have fun playing!
Hey, glad you enjoyed the video AND the game! Have fun :)
➡️6:51 What if you draw 3 new destination tickets and one of those destination tickets are already completed before you even draw the 3 new destination tickets,
Can i keep the ticket thats already completed and get the points immedietly?
Or i should choose a ticket thats not finish?
You can take a ticket that you’ve already completed (and you should!), it will be sure points for you at the end of the game.
@@WatchItPlayedThanks👍
I know the rules for this one, still I watched and liked the video very much :)
I think this is a great idea, making videos for "older" known games.
It's something I've been wanting to do from time to time.
Just received my promo material in Spain. Thanks Rodney. I love the standee for dead of winter even though I don’t have the game. You may be making an appearance as a boss in my Gloomhaven campaign though lol.
Great Video! My girlfriend & I played this for the first time over the weekend and absolutely loved it. Thanks!!
You're very welcome AJ, glad it was helpful!
Do you have “house rules” yet? I know the wife and I definitely do
You explained this very well. The tone and concise manner conveyed the information clearly. Thanks.
Very kind of you to say Sabu glad you enjoyed!
Fantastic explanation! So clear. Our new favourite lockdown game. Thank you so much!
So glad you've been enjoying this one :)
Evergreen game and video. Teaching my 8yo to play today. Thanks for the clear concise video.
You're very welcome - have a great time playing!
I’m trying to understand at 9:40 the tie situation when he says the “even when they did not have the longest continuous path over all”. How does that make sense if one person would have gotten the longest continuous path? I really don’t understand what he says I can’t even find in the rule book. Is that an error on his part?
Let's say there are 3 players, and the scores are:
Player A: 80
Player B: 80
Player C: 60
Player A & B are tied.
Thanks for this, I have the game on order for my family and this has and will help me teach and play.
So nice to hear that - have a great time playing!
Thank you for making these instructions, they made it a lot clearer
Really nice to hear Milda - I hope you have a great time playing!
Thank you for the explanation! I just got this game yesterday and this was super helpful to absorb the rules. 😊
So nice to know you found it useful - have a great time playing!
Amazing tutorial. I am giving this as a gift and will be able to jump straight into this on the day so thank you!!
So glad you found it helpful. Hope you have a great time playing :)
That was a fantastic explanation. I've had the game at home for a while, but haven't played it yet. Definitely want to try it out now. Thank you.
You're very welcome - have a great time playing!
This is really helpful for me and my family, we're not long into playing board games, so this is really helpful, as was the carcassonne video too. Thank you very much.
I'm very glad the tutorial was helpful, especially if it's helping to teach your whole family!
what a classic staple. Thanks Rodney...this is one everyone should have.
Thanks!
Completely understand, you've gotten pretty busy lately! Also, congrats on the partnership with BoardGameGeek!
Thank you kindly!
Great explanation ! I ain't going to lie, I found the rules for this game really confusing ! But after watching a few videos they are slowly starting to make sense.
Very glad this helped - I hope you have a great time paying!
Thanks for these "back to basics" videos -they're great! They fill a hole in the board game video universe!
Glad you're enjoying these - I'll be returning to do some more in the near future, I'm sure!
That was wonderful! Concise yet thorough.
Thanks for the kind feedback Steven!
Always the best game explanations from this guy love it.
So glad you're enjoying - thanks for the kind words :)
Have the Europe Edition & they have train stations. How do you play with those?
Hey Ralph, that's a different edition of the game. I don't own, and haven't created a video for that, but the rules in the game should say.
You just give up one card, and the plastic piece station piece. At the end you get four points for each station piece remaining so using one station costs you four points.
I really appreciate your skill in being clear, synthetic and also comprehensive while explaining... Do you prepare a written list of things to say beforehand and then make the video?
I retype the rule book into a script that I reference as I record, to ensure I can deliver the information as efficiently as possible.
Well done ;)
So for a double track, do left and right order matter? I. E. if I'm left track going from a city to another, then I become right track from that same city to the next, does that still count as continuous?
Sorry, I'm not quiet sure I'm understanding the question.
@@RadChad2010 They are playing incorrectly - what they are saying is actually impossible, as you'll see here: ruclips.net/video/4JhFhyvGdik/видео.html
@@WatchItPlayed I'm so butchering what I mean lol.
i.imgur.com/PEg4bQR.jpg
The situation I meant is described by the red I colored in. From Dallas to OKC and OKC to Kansas City. Would that be considered continued of 4, even though they're on different sides of the double tracks?
All good - thanks for the picture. The sides of the track make no difference whatsoever. It has no impact on continuous trains (or anything).
I agree with Tyler down below; it is great that you are going back and covering some of these older games. Essentially, I had not played this for a while and needed a refresher. I was able to run your vid on 1.25 speed and picked the rules up again in a jiffy. Thank you!
Hoping to do some more of these in 2019!
Thanks for the feedback Dominic, glad you enjoyed even as rewatch on a game you're familiar with :)
Thanks for this. Introducing a friend to Rodney for the first time. This will also be the first time either of us has played the game!
I hope you both have a fun time!
This makes it really clear and easy to understand. Thank you!
You’re very welcome - have fun playing!
"you need to be able to claim the entire route, not merely part of it"
Correct.
@@WatchItPlayed ah, thanks!
My wife and I just played - we were tied right to the very bitter end lol Really great video and fun game. Thanks
What a close finish!
Oj Simpson players
Question about one of the color cards. Is one of them pink or violet. Asking for a friend...
It's pretty close, isn't it?
Can I claim any random route even if I don’t have the destination ticket ?
You sure can!
Thanks to your playlist, “new to board game? Start here!”, game night is now a family tradition. We got 5 board games out of the 7 that was recommended on the playlist. Can you make another playlist of what games to get next. Thanks.
That's a good idea - going to put it on my "to-do" list!
For a route of three, do you have to have three cards ready to complete a route, or can you do two cards in one play and then finish it when you draw another card that fits in?
To build any route, you have to build it all at once (no matter the size).
Thankyou@@WatchItPlayed
Finally someone explain how to play some classic old games :)
Excellent Rodney
Cheers!
Thanks for another great video. This is a great game for friends of all ages, I played a digital version first. Really like it so I purchased the US version and another expansion. The game flow is smooth and simple with very interesting route building elements for most people I know.
Glad to hear you enjoyed this one - you can see why it's been such a popular board game in the hobby!
Great review. My question is say you keep 2 destination tickets from the start and complete them. Do you have to draw more or can you complete the game with no more active destination cards in your hand?
You don't need to draw any new ones (but they can be a good source of additional points)!
Watch It Played awesome. Thank you for the help
Wow. Another great classic and one that I bought late into my collection. Great job as usual. Such a kid-friendly game also but equally awesome with adults. Thanks for this one, Rodney!
My pleasure Steve!
