You don’t choose one, stupidest thing is to pick a cartridge designed for an auto (which requires compromises) for use in a revolver. Get a revolver that chambers a revolver cartridge.
Not much of an argument to my premise, besides If you just want to load fast, get an auto. ALL auto cartridges require some compromises, no reason to use one in a revolver (except perhaps only if you have a convertible model).
@@markhale8084 I shoot a Smith in 45 acp with moon clips and can load it fast enough for my needs. It’s been proven that a revolver will shoot faster than an auto, Jerry Miculek ! Revolvers are mechanically faster, with autos you have the built in lag time for the slide. In a bullet for bullet pure speed the revolver will shoot faster. I have autos, but prefer revolvers.
old vet, you still keeping missing the point, has nothing to do with how fast you can load, auto cartridges in a revolver are DUMB, instead get cartridges designed for a revolver which will outperform the auto cartridges every-time (auto cartridges are compromised to fit into a magazine for pistol use). 45 acp is a fine cartridge but ONLY in an auto. A 45 acp can’t compare with a 45 long colt much less a 44 mag.
The Ruger Convertible 9mm/357 that I bought years ago was an Old Blackhawk.

Moon clips in a 45acp a lot faster than fumbling with a speed loader !

Yes get anything but a 9mm I didn't even know they made 9mm revolvers that automatic round and that's were it belongs
Ruger made a Blackhawk that came with a 9mm cylinder and a 357 cylinder. I don't know if they still make them or not.

Beauuuuuuuutiful hand gun.... i love it
What gun is pictured in the thumbnail?
Bot video with some good info but plenty of editing mistakes
There is no such thing as a good 9mm Revolver and as far as that goes there is no such thing as a good 9mm .
If you buy a 9mm 6 shot revolver, there's really no helping you! Perhaps you should be thinking of pepper spray?
