    OJ was the reason Norm got fired. The president of NBC was a golf buddy of OJ. He sent word to stop with the OJ Jokes.Needless to say he didn't stop.. Good on Norm!!

      That's the popular theory, but I just watched the SNL seasons when this occurred and they did a lot of OJ sketches that were as brutal as Norm's fake news. And OJ wasn't even in the news by the time he got fired in 1997. Beats me.

      Norm was fired because he was not funny. "hey that is my lucky stabbing hat" It is not creative...it just blunt and portrays OJ as an idiot...SNL did many jokes about OJ ....The trial was over in Oct 1995 and he was fired in early 1998....Norms fan based could not except he was fired for not being funny...So they hatched a theory many years later. Some of his buddies pushed it on pod cast. that this was the reason he was fired.,...Sorry norm dad jokes were not that funny...there was often times little to no reaction to his "jokes"

      @@musicmyfavs1907 Well sir funny is objective and obviously you're in the minority of what is considered funny. There is not a high level comedian alive that would consider Norm not funny in fact they consider him a comedic genius. In your bad example of not funny.. "My stabbing hat" it's funny because it's shocking and it's something that no body else would say it or think of but has some truth.

    They didn't tamper with the glove, Johnny just told OJ to stop taking his arthritis medicine and his hand swelled up a bit so the glove wouldn't fit.

    • @jefflabbecomedy
      @jefflabbecomedy 2 года назад +11

      It's also easy to make a glove not fit your own hand. The term "fits like a glove" exists because they typically are a tight fit. Just spread your base knuckles slightly, wriggle your fingers the wrong way, spread your thumb base out from your palm, and oh my the glove just won't fit! Clown ass look around the court room, aaand scene.

    OJ was acquitted by a criminal court but at the time everyone saw the evidence of this incredibly public trial. Additionally OJ was sued in civil court and was found liable for the deaths and was ordered to pay 33.5 million. Basically means he was tried again and found guilty. But you dont go to jail for losing civil court unless you fail to pay the damages you are determined to owe. And yeah later on he basically admitted it so its kind of impossible to deny after that. The fact he was acquitted was more a case of jury nullification. I think norm was fired for going in on OJ so hard lol. And its interesting because ive been reminded about OJ after seeing the chris rock slap by will smith, with some people being very pro will smith and others being like "what the hell, why isnt he getting in any actual trouble for this?" As norm has proved, You can beat the law but you cant beat public opinion.

  • @garymathena355
    @garymathena355 2 года назад +7

    Acquittal does NOT mean he is not guilty, it means the jury did not find enough evidence was proven to find him guilty. The glove was covered DRIED blood, it distorted the shape of the glove making it difficult to put on.

    • @Kubickz

      The glove didn't matter, THE DNA WAS ENOUGH TO CONVICTED IT.
      The prosecution went with the glove thing and f*cked up, also with the riots and abuse against black people, they turned the case of a murder into black vs whites.

    • @BrunodeSouzaLino
      @BrunodeSouzaLino Год назад +1

      The problem there was they had had OJ put another pair of gloves before trying the evidence ones. Of course the glove wouldn't fit with another glove under it.

    • @mckenzie.latham91

      The main reason OJ was acquitted because
      He never had to take the stand for cross examination so it came down to everything else and the prosecution botched it
      The momencpj had to take the stand during the civil trial by the families
      He was not able to decline taking the stand in a civil trial
      And he was nailed on cross examination
      That's why he was found guilty of the murders in civil Court

    The trial jury toured the house of oj simpson because the defense wanted to paint a good picture of oj as not a psychopathic abu5er. The house was basically a shrine to himself with paintings of him and his awards allover the house, and pictures of him with his rich white friends. They put pictures of his black family members and pictures of Nicole up and took away most reminders of OJ's penchant for self appreciation.

  • @rtaAsh
    @rtaAsh Месяц назад

    Just saw this video come up . That's not what happened with the glove. Johnnie Cochran and f u Bailey. They knew that Marcia Clark and Chris darden were dumb enough to make him try the glove on. Because the teams were talking . the defense and the prosecutors about the glove. So Johnnie Cochran and f u Bailey that's what they got their hunch about trying the glove on. Like I said they took him off his meds. And then with the glove being soaked in blood and then sitting there for almost six or seven or eight months it's shrunk because it was that's what kind of genius is Marcia Clark and Chris darden was. One other little tip. Did you notice there was one place that the defense and Barry scheck and Peter newfound didn't challenge the blood evidence. In one place. That was the bronco. That was one place they could not explain Ron Goldman's blood being in the bronco. kind of hard to explain the blood being there when Ron Goldman was never inside the bronco. You could explain Nicole's blood that wasn't a problem. But you couldn't explain Ron's Goldman's blood being there.and Mark fuhrman wasn't there when they collected the blood so that went out the window.. and that blood was kept separate from the testing. So they couldn't use cross-contamination

If you want, there's plenty of reaction chanels that do that and after analisis aswell, I personally prefeer less blah blah cause I already know the details and the conclussions.

      @@Eledin91 I was 13 when this happened. I can’t take you seriously with all your grammatical mistakes. I’m giving advice to a RUclipsr with still a small following. There’s tons of Norm reaction videos out there, so I’d like to watch someone who knows a little about the subject they’re covering without pausing every 10 seconds to ask a question that’s pretty common knowledge, or a google search.

      @@EJBing Maybe you will take me more seriously if I tell you that english is my third language then. Those pauses and questions, are for copyright issues and so people comment for the algorythm, many times they play dumb just so people answer their questions. As I said, I like it this way, less thinking more reaction, I already done the thinking long ago, to each his own. Anyway, saying that he should investigate before doing a video is telling him what to do, not a piece of advice, and saying that he looks old enough to know its a bit disrespectful, like you with my grammar saying you cant take ime seriously. Youre not gonna change a chanel, if you dont like it go to another one that fits more your likings.
