What is required of you, oh man? To love justice, seek mercy and to walk humbly with your GOD.
Deborah and Jael each walked the narrow path.
For years, it has been made evident to me that the world is becoming more evil. ( I have served as a police officer and crime scene investigator in one of America's most violent cities. I have dealt intimately with the rising stats.)
Mothers, sisters, daughters-- we will very likely need to have skills to defend and fight back. Israel's invasion serves as a horrifying example. This is an urgent manner, all hands needed on deck type situation. That attack was likely a prototype of what is to come. We are experiencing an invasion, right now.
As a wife and mother, I hope I never have to use force to defend. But, like Jael, we ought to be familiar with the tools, have strength and mindset to overcome evil.
Not my husband, nor my sons can accompany me all the time. These days, we are at risk stepping into a public restroom.
Sisters in Christ, have a tool and know how to use it.
I hope we never have to... but the current stats don't equal that level of optimism.
    Come LORD!
Until then, we will stand as in the time of Nehemiah.
I am here to assist. It is my annointing. Yes, I wrestled with the LORD over it. But Jael and Deborah have been well documented to serve as guides.
Be wise as a serpent, innocent as a dove. (I bet Jael related to that verse too.) No one else was in the tent to do this work.
Thank you for this teaching. I found it validating.

Simple answer... NO. Women leading is a sign of Judgement on a nation.... that includes Deborah ...
Deborah was a judgment...not a Judge... Barak was the Judge (military leader raised up by God through the prophets to deliver Israel from oppression) .... Deborah was a magistrate settling squabbles of childish weak men who couldn't come to agreement as men should... they had to involve "mommy" ...

    • @cryptojihadi265
      @cryptojihadi265 8 месяцев назад +5

And Barak wouldn't go to battle without mommy either. Hence why God took the glory for the battle from him and delivered the King into the hand of a woman.
Isaiah 3:12 makes it clear that women ruling over men is a curse. That was hundreds of years after Deborah supposedly broke the glass ceiling.

Jesus approved of a woman to be a Judge over Israel in the Old Covenant,
with the authority to judge homicide cases. To believe that Jesus would
strongly disapprove of a woman being an elder in the New Covenant,
makes no sense whatsoever. This is all Paul.
      __________________________________________________________________
      Were Deborah AND Barak Judges?
      Was Barak a Judge?
      Was Deborah a Judge?
And when the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and saved them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who tormented and oppressed them.
      -excerpt Judges 2
Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time. She used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel went up to her for judgment.
      -excerpt Judges 4
The peasantry came to an end, they came to an end in Israel,
      Until I, Deborah, arose,
Until I arose, a mother in Israel.
      -excerpt Judges 5
Tola and Jair were also Judges.
..., rose up to save Israel...
Now after Abimelech died, Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar, rose up to save Israel; and he lived in Shamir in the hill country of Ephraim. He judged Israel for twenty-three years. Then he died and was buried in Shamir.
      ...rose up and judged Israel...
After him, Jair the Gileadite rose up and judged Israel for twenty-two years. And he had thirty sons who rode on thirty donkeys, and they had thirty cities in the land of Gilead that are called Havvoth-jair to this day. And Jair died and was buried in Kamon.
      -excerpt Judges 10
The same phrasing is used regarding Deborah, Tola and Jair. They were all Judges.
      Deborah:
      Until I, Deborah, arose,
      Until I arose...
      Tola:
      "...rose up..."
      Jair:
      "...rose up..."

Barak is never referred to as a Judge. He was commander of the army.
Deborah was the Judge over Israel at this time. She knew it, and so did Barak.
Now she sent word and summoned Barak...
-excerpt Judges 4 (above) Deborah summoning Barak.
She gave the order for the battle to begin that Israel won.
Then Deborah said to Barak, “Arise! For this is the day on which the Lord has handed Sisera over to you...
-excerpt Judges 4 (above) Deborah ordering Barak.
      CONCLUSION
      Deborah was a Judge.
      Barak was not a Judge.

I apologize I didn’t watch but to answer your question, no. Women should not be in positions of leadership and authority for a variety of reasons but the only one that matters is that God created men to lead and protect. Women to nurture and support. This is why everything that goes against that fails (cough, cough, Disney). When the outcomes are equal to or greater than what is proven to be most effective I will reevaluate my position.

He didn't bring it up, but nowhere does the bible endorse such a thing. The Bible calls her a prophetess and says she judged Israel, but unlike the other judges, it doesn't say God raised her up to be a judge.
Isaiah 3:12 makes it clear it's a curse for a nation to be ruled by women. That lamentation was given hundreds of years after this battle, so Deborah was not an example of breaking some glass ceiling about Biblical leadership. This is further confirmed by Paul throughout the NT and John in Revelation.
Neither was she some great military commander or brave leader. She merely gave the word of the Lord to Barak that he was to lead the army against Jabin, and God would deliver them into his hands.
It was Barak that insisted Deborah go with him, which clearly displeased God. With that demand, Barak was clearly stating he didn't trust in God, but he did trust in a woman. So, God said a woman would get the honor, not Barak.
Deborah did not lead the men into battle, she merely went with them (at Barak's insistence) and then merely told Barak to go ahead, God has given them into your hands. That is NOT a military leader. It's Barak that actually led them into battle and pursued Sisera.
Also, the idea that Deborah was some brave warrior is also absurd. It doesn't take a lot of courage to tell OTHERS to go fight a battle. Now there is no doubt, most women wouldn't even want to travel with the army, so she's certainly braver than most women in that regard, but from an absolute perspective, that doesn't take a lot of bravery. Not compared to the men that actually had to go into battle against an army of 900 Chariots. That was a suicide mission if God didn't show up.

    Part 6 Sanhedrin
The word Sanhedrin refers to a religious court. In the time of Christ, there were two Sanhedrins operating in Jerusalem, the first of which was a 23-member court run by the Sadducees that handled local affairs.
Its larger counterpart, the Great Sanhedrin, was comprised of 70 elders with a president, who in the time of Jesus was Gamaliel. Acts 5:25 shows this group and the Great Sanhedrin coming together to discuss the problem of the Christians. The Great Sanhedrin functioned much like a combination of the Senate and Supreme Court, and most of its members at the time of the Crucifixion were Pharisees from the school of Shammai.
You will note in the Book of Acts that Gamaliel, the president of the Great Sanhedrin, encouraged tolerance of the Christians, but because he and his followers were outnumbered by Sadducees Pharisees.
The Great Sanhedrin ultimately elected to persecute the Christians. At the trial of Jesus before the elders of Israel, Gamaliel may not have been present. If he had the circumstances may have turned out quite differently. The trial held to try Jesus was hurriedly assembled and included almost across the board members who were either Sadducees, or else Pharisees from the school of Shammai. It is possible that Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimithea represented the school of Hillel.

No, here is what G-D says to these women,2:11-12 says: “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.” The text calls twice for women to be quiet and it does not allow any form of teaching. The Bible does not say that a woman in control will cause the end of the world, but it does have some passages that discuss women and leadership:
1 Timothy 2:11-12: States that women should learn in quietness and submission, and that men should have authority over women.
Revelation 17:18: Describes a woman as a city that rules over the kings of the earth. This part refers to herodias( women who seduce men to do their bidding, who had her seductive daughter manipulate herod to kill John the Baptist and be head him and put the head on a silver platter,

Remember what the Bible told us, that some people who are at the gates pleaded with Jesus and said that they did works in His name, cast out demons in His name and God said I never knew you. God can use sinners and righteous people alike. I actually think this man is teaching great things that are lacking in leaders today. I wish more men were leading with the moral teachings and guidance that he does. More pastors should preach like this. It sucks if he's actually not a good person in real life. But we can't always throw out the baby with the bathwater. Satan is always trying to undermine good people. His staff and him might be getting attacked by unclean energy or demons. They definitely need prayers before satan wins and takes them out of their spotlight or changes them for the worst. 😢❤

    The Strong's Hebrew Concordance: BARAQ (1300) + 666 = Lucifer (1966) BARAQ (1300) + BAMAH (1116) = BEAST (2416)
The FREEMASONS know who Obama is. It's a shame most Believers don't. in Freemasonic temples over the world, there's one particular Bible verse they engrave everywhere and that is part of Genesis 1:3 "Let there be light" In Strong's concordance it breaks down into the following number entry's. Let there be 1961 light 216 Which shows the Lord had encoded Obamas birthdate back in Genesis. Born 1961 on the 216th day. Note that 216 is 6 X 6 X 6 Luke 10:18 is also key In hebrew Luke 10:18 reads ra'ah satan naphal 'aher *baraq o bamah* Not to be understood until this generation. Jesus meant every word he said!!! Then a few verses later. “In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast HID these things from the WISE and PRUDENT, and hast REVEALED them unto BABES: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.” - Luke 10:21 (KJV)

Some of us happen to like a pastor who speaks the word with authority. And they should (Tim 3:16). There’s plenty of effeminate speaking male “preachers” you could listen to that won’t offend you with their tone. I wouldn’t refer to them as “men” though.

What did Jesus in Matthew 26.52 meant? "Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." What insurance do we have God fights our fights if we put ourselves in perilous situation, like living in a town, or easy to access - easy to invade home, in a land full of armed and crazy cowboys?

You have to remember that Jesus had a mission, he had to die, so when he was arrest the person that cut off the ear of the servant could have change that course. Jesus warn the disciplines he would be betrayed and he had to die to fulfill the law and give us a way out. We as Christians don't look for war, we are live peacefully as much as possible. Remember what his Father said, there is a time for peace and there is a time for war. Christians only fight as a last resort I hoped this helped.

Part 1 biblical response to Driscoll NOT ALL ISRAEL IS ISRAEL 🇮🇱🇵🇸?
Who has the most original Hebrew DNA Palestinians or Brooklyn Jews?
    Pharisees, Sadducees, Edomites, Great Sanhedrin
Around 60 b.c. The Roman Triumvirate Pompey brought Judea under Roman Rule. He pushed all the Jews into the areas of Gallilee, Jericho and Jersalem. Then he settled Greeks and Syrians in the rest of the land of Palestine. Originally, Galilee was settled by the tribe of Benjamin who always followed the tribe of Judah.

Brother Mark, I appreciate the labor and the fruit you have produced for the Lord but at 30:24 a Spirit led person can see you begin to stumble with the message you are preaching and it continues toward the 31 minute mark. The reason is because when you get to 4., 5., and 6., of your "Just war theory" you are clearly struggling with the reality that Israel's response wasn't and currently still isn't a #4 proportionate response to Hamas. This isn't to say that I condone Hamas's original terrorist attack, I certainly don't. Furthermore Israel is not responding with only Israeli soldiers killing Hamas soldiers. Israel declared war after Hamas militants stormed across its border and killed some 1,200 people and kidnapped 240 others. Israel's military says 139 of its soldiers have been killed in the ground offensive. It says it has killed thousands of Hamas militants, including about 2,000 in the past three weeks, but has not presented any evidence to back up the claim. Many reports argue that more than 70% of the more than 20,000 Palestinians killed since the latest Israeli offensive began have been women and children with over 10,000 of them estimated to be children.. This strains the goal of preserving more lives than taken. Beyond that brother have you forgotten that God is angry with Israel for rejecting His son Jesus and that God Himself is setting Israel up to be seriously Judged in the last days? Have you forgotten that God Himself TOOK the land away from Israel for rejecting Jesus and scattered his people for the hardness of their hearts and the rejection of Jesus? Yes God allowed them to get their country back in 1948, out of an abundance of compassion because He loves Israel so much but His just nature is motivated by giving Israel another chance to recognize His Son Jesus which He knows they will not and that is why most Israelis will be wiped out save His 144,000. Jesus tells them to flee to the hills for a reason. We are under a new covenant, not that Jesus has come to abolish the law but He fulfills the law and we are not called to follow the ways of Azazel and rush into war with our enemies but to love our enemies and make every effort to live at peace with all men and Israel has not done that because they have not the Sprit of Jesus Christ. You too brother must buy gold tried in the fire. Please read my book "The Republicrat - A Plea To Humanity." Grace, Mercy, and Peace. ~ WLBJ ~
