The actual comment will come from my actual username with a verified checkmark after it ‘Dan Becker’. Do not be scammed by fake messages impersonating me! Only ONE winner will be selected as we only have one tent to give.

Durston is amazing. I got my hands on the latest pro2P and found a small issue when taking it down. The tie out points on the "pole corners" only have one bar tack holding the loop (despite having 3 par tacks on the single strand of grosgrain.) I popped the line lock off (blew the one tack) when pulling out my pole without loosening the corners first (be careful). Reached out to Dan and we had a short discussion about it, and he offered to fix it under warranty and consider more tacks for future tents. (I re-tacked it myself). Brilliant tent and even better service.

I want that tent. Great video D & D and the back and forth about the tent was fun. I've seen other youtubers using the Durston tent, but I didn't know much about it or the materials. The video really helped to explain its strength and the thought that went into the design. Glad you are feeling better Dan. I've been drinking electrolytes before and during my hikes since your rescue. It could happen to any of us and your experience was not in vain. It was a much needed PSA on the issue that I will take into consideration when I complete the Catskill 9 in a couple of weeks. Be well, my friend, and yes, I [still] want that tent. Thanks. 🐂🐻

I really WANT and need THAT TENT! I mean I've only had one tent since 2015 and the poles are already bent, and the seam tape have already disintegrated but I am continuously using it since I love hiking and have more plans of hike in the future. I need the 'lightweightness' of the Durston because I am fairly small. The gears we have in here is 5 years behind so I'm positively sure that I''ll be the first to own a dyneema tent. But whoever will have this tent, I am sure that person will truly deserve it.

I want that tent! This one really stands out from all of the competition. Love the easy setup, the crazy geometry that makes it so spacious yet so wind- and snowproof. I really appreciate when creators can design something so different and thoughtfull that is not just a brush off from someones elses ideas.
The thing I love the most about the 1P is that it is even wide enough for ME... I don't compromise on good sleep out on the trail - so I use a 30inch wide pad as a sidesleeper even if it is a few ounces more to carry. Very few UL-1P tents can fit that properly.
What I really hoped to hear though is an answer to the question if there will be a 3P version on it.
When I am backpacking with my significant other (who also uses 30 inch pads) we'd really love to sleep in one tent together instead of two seperate ones - and I would be more than willing to carry the shelter for her since it would be a really lightweight one :) But the 2P version won't fit us both sadly... A 3P would be the GOLDEN choice for me - or shoud I say us...
But I understand you can't serve everyones wishes. The light-hanging-loop would be a good one though ;)
Dursten and his company - that is something I will keep my eye on. I look forward too see even more "crazy" ideas. If you allow yourself to be different good things might happen.
Thanks for the short review... I really want one :)

I want that tent! Love Dan's honest reviews, really helpful for someone new to this sort of camping like myself.

Planning a Boundary Waters trip next summer with my adult kids. This would be perfect, durable, light. I want that tent!

    I want that tent!🎉

I want that tent! Also love the idea about a little loop for hanging a head lamp from.
