Thatta sedai - I did exactly as advised, but it came out to be soggy, soft like puri. Not crispy but taste was superb . What could be the reason. Vella seedai - first one looked good, so added all; but everything alarndu pochu. Don't know what went wrong. 😕

Mavu nanna varukkanum and evenly spread one more step use the fork to pierce holes in the thattai and add same more butter try this.

Did you roast the Mavu well .add little more butter. Pressed Tatti evenly. Keep the oil medium heat. fry longer time.

1) over hot oil. 2) excess vellum or excess water or exercise so add some mavu and try in the low flame
