I was at the beach ready to meet another f buddy that I'm not so attracted to just get validation from her so I wouldn't be so depressed thinking about my pregnant ex. I've shown change in myself to exactly what I did wrong before. I believe I deal well with her tests regularly to try and see if she can break me. Because I did go through the begging etc phase. Can anyone help me out. I’ve been doing everything on here. We went out last Wednesday and it was amazing! Felt just like we were together again. But after that she’s super distant through text even though she mentioned that it was such a good time at dinner. I’m currently trying to get her to go out again and we’re possibly gonna meet up tomorrow, but she’s being even more distant right now. Is she being this way as a test to try and get a reaction out of me? Or what does it mean?

@Dan Bacon I wish you posted this earlier, since I ran into my pregnant ex today. I was at the beach ready to meet another f buddy that I'm not so attracted to just get validation from her so I wouldn't be so depressed thinking about my pregnant ex. As I was on my motorcycle waiting for my rebound to text me back I turn around and see my pregnant ex who I was going no contact with walking onto the sidewalk we make eye contact and I automatically run to her and ask what she's up to, she says she's gong swimming, needless to say I tell her let's go together so we can catch up and talk. She hesitantly agrees, and I can't snap out off it and come off trying to hard to change her emotions into happy fun ones. We go for a swim but she's being distant and only maybe once or twice did she follow my lead. most times she'd break away and then is follow her like a needy puppy. I tried to not fuck things up by letting her lead all the time but I was getting insecure because I haven't seen her in awhile and I'm not sure if I'd run into her again in the future. I knew, on a subconscious level, she was shit testing me but I didn't know how to handle it or behave since towards the end we started to walk back where we met then I increased my clingyness by telling let's get some food, she wasn't hungry, then I told her lets get Jamba juice, again she replied in the negative, we got back to the bike then I tried to hold her hand and she pulled away, so I backed off. I finally said Imma walk her home, which she finally said I need space can you give me some space in an irritated manner. So I told her ok and asked for a hug which again she gave hesitantly. This video is spot on explaining the dynamic that seemed to happen today with my pregnant ex that I went "no contact " with and didn't know how to reinitiate contact with her. Now that I've been with her today, how would you handle my situation now going off of what I just posted? Thanks for any tips you can suggest bro.

I know at this moment I need to get over her by dating other girls first and getting that abundance mentality back. Once I get that, then my confidence will be high enough that I could contact her without conveying neediness. I won't come off so try hard. I've shown change in myself to exactly what I did wrong before. I believe I deal well with her tests regularly to try and see if she can break me. Because I did go through the begging etc phase. I've noticed previously and current when she's hurting or regretting she puts posts up on Facebook that indirectly dig previous partners etc. Is this normal and in me being who she actually wants is it her way of reacting to hurting, grief and being unsure of her feelings towards me?

Senica Stanley this come AFTER you have already started the process of reconciliation. You have to get the relationship started before you can work on the issues. You need to ease into it. Opening the old wounds when there's already little to no good emotion is just going to push her away more
