I play 150 rounds per year and my 2014 DLX bag lasted 7 years before finally falling apart. Because I wanted blue, I bought 4 Pioneer bags due to the fact that my 2022 Pioneer only survived 2 years. If your viewers want the most bang for their buck - I strongly recommend the DLX. It would be nice if Ping made the DLX in various colors!
Yeah I love the DLX now and its good to hear a first hand account of it's longevity. Disappointing to hear about the Pioneer, even less chance of selling mine now, might just have to blow it up.
I have a black pioneer for many years and its bombproof. The only thing against it is the colour is fading a bit but only a little. Strongly considering the DLX but I don't need it!

Have the 2023 Pioneer bag as my current one. Awesome and works well even in rain. Prior bag was a DLX which is, for all intents and purposes, waterproof. Gave it to my regular golfing mate at the Club and he's a fan too. If you want a staff bag, get the TM Stealth one. It's heavy however quality is excellent. Have 8 bags so I know what I'm talking about. :)) Keep making the great vids!
Haha, you're a serious bag customer, wish you lived in North Berwick. Good to hear about the waterproof qualities of the Pioneer and the DLX. I haven't come across a really good Tour Bag yet, some half decent ones but nothing where I've thought they were not heavily compromised in some way. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the reviews. I am considering purchasing the DLX. I've got the Pioneer in Black which I have loved, but it has faded since new. Really annoying as the hood is still black and the rest of the bag is not. The other really annoying this is that the top is not round and keeps twisting on my MGI navigator Cart. Not sure if it will be improved with the DLX as it looks like the same shape on top. In Melbourne, Australia.
Thanks for watching all the way over there in Melbourne. Yes the DLX is exactly the same shape of top as the Pioneer unfortunately. All the Ping cart bags are pretty similar shapes at the top.
Had a 2015 DLX and it was great until a squirrel got in it and eat its way through the front pocket after a chocolate bar i forgot about then destroyed the inside of the whole bag! So just bought another and its great, just need a few more colour's.
Wow, yes can’t really fault Ping for not making it squirrel proof. And totally agree about the colours, at least one more maybe matching the current flagship colours or something each time. Great bag though.
Sorry, I don't ship bags to the States, it would probably add at least $150 if not more I would guess. Would almost be better paying for a holiday for me and I could drop the bag off at your house.
I'm afraid in a cruel twist of fate, I've actually sold the DLX I had in stock and have not re-ordered one yet, so I can't actually check about the card pocket. I've re-watched a couple of the videos I made on it and I don't mention that feature both times, so I'm leaning towards the answer being , no it doesn't. I will check if I see another one and reply again if it turns out there is. Sorry I can't be more definite.

If only, I've taken all the bags off it, the only things I sell on the website are East Links souvenirs, you're not strictly allowed to sell certain brands online unless you're committing to hundreds of thousands of pounds of stock up front. I'm a long way from that I'm afraid, maybe one day!
I have an older DLX(I think) and I have to say it is very poor. The pocket storage is pathetic, can hardly get the zips to close without worrying if they're going to burst and dont even think about trying to pack a couple of towels. Unless the storage has improved my next bag wont be from ping
I've had the DLX for a couple of years now absolutely love it! Still like new, I play a couple of times every week.

It must have changed, because the DLX is the bees knees now. Again, that's a good thing.

Traverse quality is useless, used mine maybe four times on push cart and it started to wear through!
