I only just now found out about it reading the sleeve notes of the Geffen greatest hits compilation ‘Gold’. Bloody brilliant.
This was recorded for the make a wish foundation album that accompanied the Moscow Music Peace Festival in 1989 at which Aerosmith backed out at the last minute and also insisted this cover be pulled from the album,

This was supposed to be on a record for the 1989 Moscow Peace Festival. Aersomith pulled out of the concert and didnt allow this tune to be included at the 11th hour because they didnt know where the money would reallly go. I woulda done the same.
