I’m 27 and I grew up on music like this. I grew up with my grandparents and sadly they both passed away last year but I’m so thankful for everything they’ve did for me.
This song is the embodiment of 80s style and will, without hesitation, make you feel like a badass. This is one of the most hardcore songs ever put out.
1:13 "The last man in the platoon continues to shoot, his ammunition begins to run low, he is not afraid, he is not happy, he only defends what is left, he only remains standing"
why does this song never get old? i keep listening to it and it never ceases to make me hyped for whatever i may be doing at the time, they really nailed the emotion of this song, bravo.
1:07 The Kerbals on McShitten XVI taking off after the McShitten XV exploded in the launch pad the moment the engines were activated (no structural changes were made)
I listened to this song, when I was a kid in high school. My crush, broke my heart. I was dying. 22 years passed, then we reconnected. We have been married for 13 years now.
Life is a journey. We fortunately can come across people who touch a part of us that we didn’t know existed. That in itself is a blessing. Some people aren’t meant for each other in the long run. It’s nice to come across people we like as a person and a friend.
Yaaaaaaaa...right there with in 2024....May 2025 be BETTER FOR ALL AND EVERYONE...EVEN THOUGH ME MYSELF N I THANKFULLY DO NOT HAVE MUCH TO BE SAD ABOUT. TAKE CARE
My grandpa used to live with me as a kid and we shared a room for a little while, every night instead of watching a movie to go to bed we’d listen to journey since it was his favorite band. He used to dedicate this song to my grandma, they divorced way before I was born, even though they divorced for good reason, he used to be an alcoholic and didn’t treat my grandma right (he was nothing like that when I knew him) he still dedicated this song to her every night, he was still in love with her and I love my papa (step grandfather) but I feel bad for my grandma that he didn’t move on before he died during Covid
Quick story: I'm a dancer, and my studio dances in Stadium of Fire every year. This year, Journey came and played for their 50th anniversary. My friend and I were absolutely screaming this song. So glad I got to see them at a concert
I was born in 1993, but I wish I was around during the 80s. It seemed like the best time for music and movies. I've declared this my favorite song of the 80s. It should be mandatory listening for every kid of today.
Fire that burns so bright can also cause such devastation. Nothing is attainable, brother. We live in a world of chaos. We ourselves are chaos. It's all about taming the chaos from time to time to cherish those moments. Remember, life will never be perfect. This chaos isn't designed to line up everything perfectly. Sometimes we look for the perfect other, we forget and lose sight that our saviour is out there, there will be a woman to pull you from the flames brother. Don't lose sight and never close off. Life is too short, and you're stronger than you realise. Don't look for the perfect fit, look for that one who beams in the absolute darkness you're in, the one who is willing to pull you out sacrificing herself for you to give you another shot at redemption brother. Don't waste the chances, for they come and go and are far and few between. Always take the jump, learn from mistakes we all are human brother, we all make them. It's not a race. You can make more mistakes than others. Some learn at a different rate. Remember, there is no true judgement in life unless we create it and fuel it.
Choose the way of honor, stay faithful to what you believe in and you will see great things. This isn’t some fortune cookie either, this is how many people including myself live, and boy do we live!
I remember when I first listened to this piece, I was going through a serious heartbreak. There was a while when I was working through it, where I'd listen to this song. But for years afterwards, I couldn't bring myself to listen again because I didn't want to think about that point of my life. But since 2023, I've finally been able to listen without wanting to turn it off. I'm not sure people really understand how powerful music can be until life hits you
OK, so my 39-year-old son just reminded me of this song which was the breakup song to his father when I was young. I just listened to this song and I cried my eyes out, remembering back to say goodbye to him as he went on with many other women, and I took care of his child by myself, I just freaking cried my eyes out tonight.
@@hazelwillis9426🙏🏻❣️ thank you. His father and I went together for four years and it was the hardest breakup of my whole life and just a little bit ago. I started crying thinking back to those days and then your post came on. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.
Greatest song to ever hug me when solo at lowest & happiest song to ever make me celebrate that whatever challenge I faced to overcome! Gotta love that two fold truth of great music lyrics like this! Hug you when your down! Lift you right back up to keep standing! That's music real!
Found this song on one out of a ton of old cds my grandpa held onto till he died. The way it was marked it seemed like it was part of a bunch of songs that reminded him of his wife. I didn’t know either if them very well, but from all the memorabilia, he loved that woman. Has become a part of my standard playlist since. Great song and felt right.
