The term being and the term person in the trinity definition and doctrine refer to two separate and distinct states of existance. The athanasian trinity creed believes that god is a single devine being with three separate and distinct personalities that can not be separated into separate parts. What I understand the current sda position on god to be is that there are three separate beings who are coequal and coeternal and unrelated and each being is a separate person and each person has a separate personality and at a point in time these three beings chose rolls to play and the rolls could have been changed around if they had chosen differently. The athanasian creed is monotheism because they believe god is only 1 being. Seventhday adventists believe god is an unrelated family of three beings. A belief in three beings or three gods is tritheism (a belief in three gods) and polytheism (a belief in more than one god) but by saying that these three gods are part of one family of (unrelated) gods, sda's make the claim they are monotheists (believers in one god). Current adventist belief claims jesus is equal to both the one playing the part of the father and equal to the one playing the part of the holy spirit and any deference is only acting. The one playing the part of the son is not a son and he is not begotten because he has no beginning and when he calls one god his father it is not true and when the one playing the part of the father refers to him as his son that Isn't true either. It is only acting and the gods are all immortal so the death on the cross was only god leaving the body lifeless for a time and then returning back into the body to make it seem like life returned and make it seem like there was a resurrection. God can not be tempted with evil so that was just for show or pretending as well. The man christ jesus is just a human looking body that one of the three gods puts on and takes off like a garment. The three gods are invisiable as are angels and they can only be seen by humans when they wear visable outer wear for the purpose of being seen. The sda church disfellowshipped the only true god and his literal only begotten son and replaced them with the three roll playing gods. The Roman Catholic Church has a one being, one substance God which has three separate and distinct personalities. Most current SDA's probaby could not tell you whether their three God's consist of a similar substance or not but the founder's of the SDA Church believed in a single being GOD who always existed and at a point in time that GOD tore from HIS own Bosom a part of HIMSELF and formed a Son Who was made (Begotten, not created) in the Image of the Invisible GOD which apparently would have made Him Invisible to human sight as well until the Son was later manifested in the flesh (therefore He became visible). E.G.White took a trip in vision to heaven and talked to a still visible Only Begotten Son of the Only True GOD and she asked Him if His Father had a body like He did and I believe His answer was in the affirmative (you can check it out for yourself) whatever that means. Eve came from and out of Adam, so Eve is of the same substance as Adam, so with Christ (GOD's Son) coming out of His Father, whatever substance the Father consist's of His Begotten (procreated, sired, torn from the Bosom of the Father) Son would at least originally (before the incarnation) have consisted of the same Divine substance as His Father if He is a literal Son as apposed to all the metiphorical Son's. Question for a trinitarian, why are you a trinitarian when the Devil and his Angels are Anti-Trinitarian? They believe in One God the Father who has a Son (James 2:19 & Matthew 3:17)

Propping up a broken philosophy doesn’t make it less dangerous. Trinity is less supportable than most other errors.
Why not discuss Nicea and how Rome laid down their two main planks: Sunday worship and the trinity.
