You are correct in that the trinity can only be inferred or assumed as it it not plainly stated. It can be a coherent conclusion but not more than that. Moreover it ignores several facts. Many of the employed texts just count to three and assume the text says those 3 make up 1 God but that is never said. In fact The Bible even in the texts you used ideantifies clearly that the One God is the Father, and His Son Is Divine, but is NOT God, is the SON of God as Jesus Himself claims. Regarding your last claim, subordination of the Son to the Father id Clear in thr New Testament. For Example 1 Cor 15. Even in eternity.

Why the need to “attack” the evangelical model? This is Adventisms problem. Its identity is always formed by arguing with another group, over and against their position. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this study on the Trinity. I’ve been Adventist for over 25 years, The Lord sent me to meetings there the Trinity was taught. About 2 years ago I visited an online ministry. Everything was fine until they said The Holy Spirit was not The Third person of the Godhead. I did’nt believe it, because The Holy Spirit is seen from Genesis to Revelation in the Bible. But is was upsetting! I could not believe it! The one Jesus personally requested of His Father to send to humanity after He would leave, and which The Father did send. The one involved from the very beginning of creation, is not a member of The Godhead is crazy. To hear that Jesus and God The Father is willing to risk us into the hands of such a one is truly upsetting!!! Thank God that is and never will be the case. It leaves a terrible mark against God’s character of love, it’s a terrible deception for the people. How on earth are you going to be sealed in the last days. My bible tells me The Holy Spirit does that, and all the truth(Jesus) leading up to it. This is a mean spirit. May The Lord help us all!!! AMEM

Question: Does not the Gospel have an element of Judgment contained within? It must because if all the items listed are to be ultimately fulfilled; then, this must include a prerequisite that eventually a judgment will be applied to those rejecting the new covenant. Why did sister Ellen G. White not recommend updating the 1889 Fundamental Principles to include the Holy Spirit and the Trinity; If, the Holy Spirit was a distinct being like God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ? why did it take some 16 years after Ellen White died; the Holy Spirit and the Trinity appeared in the 1931 Fundamental Beliefs without a GC session vote? if truth is progressive, it should build on the foundation already established. Not change it, because that would change our religion. Did Sister E.G. White not say, we should hold-on with a grip of faith to the platform of truth and not step-off the fundamental principles that had been established...? is the 1889 Fundamental Principles still binding today or obsolete? the presentation is not balanced and to me more of a defense on the Trinity doctrine.
