      Agreed. I have the 2022 EV6 and glad I got it - the refresh is a bit too busy in the headlights lacking the cohesive "tiger eyes" of the original. Maybe the next generation reboot in 2 years will be better.

    I drive an EV6 and have never thought I needed a rear wiper. I of course like they upgraded the battery and range but other than that I don’t see much changed. It’s not something which will make me trade but if I had to this would still be very high on the list for next car. I see the layout was changed on the infotainment but is it actually different. My biggest problem with this car is how difficult it is to use the system and how bad the route planning is. That’s what they need to work on. That charge flap thing you showed at the end should also be changed.

    • @CarSceneKorea

      Couldn't agree more. As far as the route planning goes, good that we now get wireless AA and CarPlay on the facelift.

    Just a correction - "panoramic" implies that there's glass above the second row of seats, which is not the case on the EV6. The EV6 sunroof is just a sunroof.
    I'm disappointed to see that the heated/ventilated seats and steering wheel controls are still capacitive touch buttons on the higher trims, rather than physical buttons like what you get on non-GT-Line trims in the pre facelift. I hope the lower trims still get the physical buttons. They're just better.

    To be honest, I was nearly all set on a Ioniq 5N, but the EV6 GT is tempting me a lot too. Especially now that it will have some of the features of the 5N and if I'm not mistaken, the GT also has an optional towing hook (it would only be for a bike rack, but still). As soon as the facelifted GT comes out it's time to make a decision. Thanks for the great videos!

    • @CarSceneKorea

      Indeed. I5N is an N after all, while EV6 GT having that badge - GT - might suit and serve other purposes than I5N. Curious how the car would come out, won't be long!

    Hi, I drive a Ev6. like the previous message would not go out deliberately to swap my car for the new version. Some features I like and some not. It was always going to be difficult for Kia to face lift it with out ruining what was a great design from the off.

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  26 дней назад

      Precisely. The first EV6 was near perfect car I'd say.

  • @teamnotleafy6887
    @teamnotleafy6887 24 дня назад

    Perfect car would be everything on the refresh but with the old headlights and GT Line-S wheels. Also buttons for the heated cool/seats on all trims would be better as it is too easy to activate touch buttons with your wrist when operating the climate controls. The new AR nav screen which shows the front cam view on the screen with route overlaid, is pretty amazing.

    • @CarSceneKorea
      @CarSceneKorea  24 дня назад

      Although I am not 100% sure about this, the heated seat and ventilated seat button is actually a bit more difficult for you to operate on this facelift model to precisely prevent that such as the unwanted operation of the buttons.

    Looks nicer on the inside. I'm not a fan of the new headlights. I currently have an EV6 GT. I'm loving it so far. I noticed that the volume and cruise control buttons on the steering wheel are now a barrel instead which I much prefer. Also I wish that start button was where the fingerprint scanner is at now. Leaving that top area flat would've been ideal as I could place things on there like a tablet or so. Of course it would be something light in weight but that would've nice.

    I have owned my Kia EV6 GT-Line for almost 3 years now and i have never felt a need for a rear wiper. As for the facelift, not much have changed. Only thing that i see as a great improvement is the keyless functionality and the bigger battery. I did like the old steering wheel design better aswell as the headlight design. But that is just details. Other then that im very happy with my EV6 but i do think im going to try another brand for my next car. The Infotainment system is not up to snuff, it needs to be updated faster and for free with OTA updates when a car costs as much as the EV6 does.

    They missed a few key things in this facelift, for sure that charging port flap is so much better than the current 'cord'. Such a simple thing to change. Shame. I don't mind not having a rear wiper on my EV6 but I know many miss it.
    Finally, my biggest grip on the EV6, when it rains, the water accumulates on the lowest part of the wing mirrors....the cameras! So you indicate right or left in the rain and often the image you see for the blind spot is useless. I can't believe they missed this in test driving.

      Unless you need the bigger car, trunk, cabin room EV6 wins over EV3, the latter sure is a great choice.

    This car has nowhere near as much excitement as even the old Ioniq 5.
