@@JoovI think something like Wildlander might be fun for you, it overhauls the games difficulty while bringing more lore friendly editions to the game. And unlike many of the other popular mod list overhauls it doesn’t have that plastic look to the visuals. Only thing is I don’t know if many of these 1 click install list would be good for your style of short form playthrough videos as most of them require many hours to get to the good stuff.

Something I only learned about a week ago is that the hotkeys in the favorite menu on that mod are actually a vanilla feature, minus the hotbar... it'd have been nice if that were in any way communicated at any point in the game. But yeah, you just select what you want and press a number key

i have a few things to say: in wintersun, Namira is one of the best gods when it works. his poison aura is very powerful against living enemies. second best is probably... Sithis only because of his favor that breaks the game. (i suggest not picking sithis except if you want to gain an aoe one shot instakill by simping for 4 hours straight.) you have to pray each day if you want your favor to go up, at 100% you get a god's favor power, which usually is very powerful. also, elemental flare is very very good. but it's not even its final form. Flare (11/11 dmg) goes up to bolt (20/20) which goes up to Burst (40/40)
Maybe this is a hot take, but I think this is the best Skyrim video on RUclips. I found it yesterday and since then have watched it 4 - 5 times. its so good it actually makes me want to reinstall this game.
I completely agree about the cc content, there's some absolutely incredible new quests and content put into the game. My favorite so far has been the fishing cc, and golden hills plantation is one of the best (and most useful) added houses, you can basically setup a farm that earns you profit along with getting all your crops harvested automatically and dumped in a chest.

You’re right! I tweaked it a lot trying to get a good feel of player vs. AI reach and feeling - there’s definitely a sweet spot of FOV, Precision settings and Balance mods that would be perfect out there somewhere!
I gotta agree heavily with your take on dodge rolling Skyrim doesn’t really need it, it has a lot of cover, enemies like drauger and falmer attack much slower, and the movement is snappy and smooth enough to pull off dodges and little jumps out of the way for a lot of attacks
This is probably one of the most fun videos you've ever made, I honestly think doing more challenge runs with this modlist would be really cool. Might make it a little more niche because you might have to re-explain the modlist to new viewers, but could be a fun way to revisit a few old challenges.

That's honestly a bummer if Wet and Cold causes problems. It may seem like a small detail but NPCs dressing more properly for weather, going indoors during storms. It really elevates the sandbox

Make sure to use the skyrim loot program to help scan and arrange your mods for better compatibility between your mods. The more mods you use the more important it is to arrange them properly for better stability.

Thank you so much for showcasing mods that actually enhance the Skyrim experience instead of just turning it into Dark Souls! I don't have any problems with mods that drastically change Skyrim to become another game (Dark souls, AC vahalla, etc), but people who use those mods seem to always looks down on people who don't, it's kind of irritating.
First of all, the amount of work you put into your videos truly shows and makes the video so much more enjoyable. But aside from that, you have this way of making video games feel truly fun again, something which I think a lot of people today feel that they have lost. The wonder of coming up with and executing ridiculous plans and crafting your own stories within the games is what makes watching you feel like such a fun and unique experience. It even feels nostalgic, and reminds you of discovering video games as a kid. Lots of love to you and your community

I know it's relatively minor compared to most of your challenges but I have been having a lot of fun playing survival mode with Incremental Injuries, Incremental Growth, and Realistic Regen for Magicka. Incremental Injuries makes it so that when you spend Magicka or Stamina, or lose Health, a percentage of the lost amount is deducted from your maximum value. This only recovers when you sleep. Incremental Growth makes your maximum values increase as a percentage of how much was lost the previous day when it gets recovered. Combine that with no, or minimal, stat growth from levelling means that your Health Stamina and Magicka only increase by using them. Realistic Regen is used to turn off all natural Magicka regeneration except when sleeping, or through enchantments. All combined together it has changed up my playstyle significantly. Your Magicka maximum slowly depletes through the day even if you do recover it with potions, your Health slowly wittles down, and your Stamina also gets worn out. For an extra step, add in a mod that adds Stamina costs for things like running, attacking, and blocking, to really feel the exhaustion pile up. I have felt like I earned my loot at the end of a dungeon crawl when I came out of one having ~30% of my Stamina left, 12 Magicka, and 40 Health.
Day 1 of asking joov to play fallout 3 and landlocked to the lower dc ruins from creek rock caverns to the Anchorage Memorial and to rivet city this is gives a general outline of the dc ruins it’s a complex navigation metro tunnels and more it’s also the most challenging area of the game if you could also cheat the game to do this after the “The Waters of Life” Quest I would really enjoy this thank you I love the content

I think the crashing really brings back the part that was missing from Skyrim. It wasn't frequent enough and brings back memories of the glory days.

I'm so happy Joov is finally discovering hotkeys. It's interesting to see how many people that make Skyrim videos don't bind their stuff - it's been in since Day 1.

@@grungehog There also hotkeys on controller. Only 2 though. On Xbox, the left and right on d-pad can be set from the favorites menu. I don't know about PlayStation.

also in the mod menu for precision you can set a minimum range for weapons to make daggers less useless
You’re right! I tweaked it a lot trying to get a good feel of player vs. AI reach and feeling - there’s definitely a sweet spot of FOV, Precision settings and Balance mods that would be perfect out there somewhere!

Skyrim doesn’t really need it, it has a lot of cover, enemies like drauger and falmer attack much slower, and the movement is snappy and smooth enough to pull off dodges and little jumps out of the way for a lot of attacks
Joov is the type of guy to finally play Skyrim 2.
This is probably one of the most fun videos you've ever made, I honestly think doing more challenge runs with this modlist would be really cool. Might make it a little more niche because you might have to re-explain the modlist to new viewers, but could be a fun way to revisit a few old challenges.

Really great video! I had it just in my recommended page and randomly came across your content. Love the intro and cinematography with it. The different types of music throughout the encounters really made Skyrim's combat somehow more engaging.

Also just so you know, using retextured for more things can make your game more stable, like maybe getting enhanced vanilla trees of something, also wet and cold is really buggy, maybe get rid of that for stability. really liking the enhanced vanilla!
That's honestly a bummer if Wet and Cold causes problems. It may seem like a small detail but NPCs dressing more properly for weather, going indoors during storms. It really elevates the sandbox
@@Joov it does, there are other mods that do the same, like Skyrim is cold, and I’m pretty sure there is another mod that adds weather fx to characters, but I can’t remember the name, I’m also a sucker for immersion!

Make sure to use the skyrim loot program to help scan and arrange your mods for better compatibility between your mods. The more mods you use the more important it is to arrange them properly for better stability.

Thank you so much for showcasing mods that actually enhance the Skyrim experience instead of just turning it into Dark Souls! I don't have any problems with mods that drastically change Skyrim to become another game (Dark souls, AC vahalla, etc), but people who use those mods seem to always looks down on people who don't, it's kind of irritating.

First of all, the amount of work you put into your videos truly shows and makes the video so much more enjoyable. But aside from that, you have this way of making video games feel truly fun again, something which I think a lot of people today feel that they have lost. The wonder of coming up with and executing ridiculous plans and crafting your own stories within the games is what makes watching you feel like such a fun and unique experience. It even feels nostalgic, and reminds you of discovering video games as a kid. Lots of love to you and your community

When the new spells they added are so strong that Joov things they are part of a mod
I know it's relatively minor compared to most of your challenges but I have been having a lot of fun playing survival mode with Incremental Injuries, Incremental Growth, and Realistic Regen for Magicka.
Incremental Injuries makes it so that when you spend Magicka or Stamina, or lose Health, a percentage of the lost amount is deducted from your maximum value. This only recovers when you sleep.
Incremental Growth makes your maximum values increase as a percentage of how much was lost the previous day when it gets recovered. Combine that with no, or minimal, stat growth from levelling means that your Health Stamina and Magicka only increase by using them.
Realistic Regen is used to turn off all natural Magicka regeneration except when sleeping, or through enchantments. All combined together it has changed up my playstyle significantly. Your Magicka maximum slowly depletes through the day even if you do recover it with potions, your Health slowly wittles down, and your Stamina also gets worn out.
For an extra step, add in a mod that adds Stamina costs for things like running, attacking, and blocking, to really feel the exhaustion pile up. I have felt like I earned my loot at the end of a dungeon crawl when I came out of one having ~30% of my Stamina left, 12 Magicka, and 40 Health.
Added nearly half of what I didn't have to my load order after watching this, great video as always lad
Day 1 of asking joov to play fallout 3 and landlocked to the lower dc ruins from creek rock caverns to the Anchorage Memorial and to rivet city this is gives a general outline of the dc ruins it’s a complex navigation metro tunnels and more it’s also the most challenging area of the game if you could also cheat the game to do this after the “The Waters of Life” Quest I would really enjoy this thank you I love the content
Do it after the waters of life so the Enclave spawn in makes it a ruff bit better
