You can also get rid of sampling clicks sometimes by disabling the snap button and aligning the waveform yourself. Manual aligning is often more precise.

You're definitely the most knowledgeable ableton guru I've seen so far, I used to work in Reason and I got really in depth with it's design, (routing cvs and audio singals through several malstroms and stuff like that) and I lost all of it when I switched to ableton. Years later I find you and watch your videos and now I can emulate the same in depth style that I love, with ableton! It really excites me to do even more music. Thank you so much for it all man!
Tons of awesome sample manipulation tips in here. I’m fairly new to Ableton and quickly realized it’s really set up like some kind of modular sampler: the tools for sample manipulation are deep and abound. I don’t even work in what would be considered an “electronic” music genre but it’s been really rewarding creatively to start wrapping my head around it and approach every sound as it’s own instrument
Have you ever heard of standard clip? Really useful to crush your transients before you limiter. Pro L2 is great, but a little ‘pillowy’ standard clip is like 20 quid and very much useful to get even +1 or +2 rms. Always before your end limiter tho, an extra 5-10% of loudness
