It's refreshing to see tutorials for this kind of Dubstep
i miss this old style of dubstep, im glad ppl are getting back into it
I mean its still there, and its making quite a solid comeback here, with the 1985 label for instance you are going to have some fucking fun
@@sharr3766 can you recommend some?
I mean it's kinda cool but kinda boring, I like "brostep" artists make it crazy
@@DyspotikOriginal depends for who, boring for people who want screetching sounds and very dynamic drops yes but for people who care about clean sound, deep basses and interesting enveloppes, textures, atmospheres etc its not boring, its just an accquired taste
@@DyspotikOriginal yeah i feel exactly the opposite. brostep sometimes has interesting sound design on the squawky bass/lead combo but that's about it for me. it's a little one-note.
your video just made me realize how well structured ableton is. so many logical features for fast workflow
1:39:22 final product
Been watching a lot of tutorials lately, this is somehow one of the most informative ones ive seen on ableton in general, good shit
I mostly produce darkpsy/Forrest, but i love this kinda style and also deep and dark dubstep genres.
coming from psy this really is a refreshing genre to dive into. its just sooo different and fun in it`s own way:)
i love that you dont have to have tons and tons of elements for a solid drop
prpducing 7-8 minute darkpsy pieces can get really tendious
hello friend, same for me. im from south brazil and here we have a well consolided darkpsy/forest scene, I still like artists like Sectio Aurea, Dark Whisper, etc. But dubstep its so fucking raw, deep and dark nice to see some people with tastes similars to me are also inclining to same things of the sub-end-continuum. Most of those ravers that are fond of the darkpsy/forest mocked me about my taste transition wtf
i started with the psy, them I went direct to the psybient/psydub continuum and ended in the dubstep and 2-step as my genre to go for to produce. And I really do agree with you that producing darkpsy can get really tedious, my respect to the producers of this genre that can endure such a process lol, I chose something less experimental with a more sweet groove as a production session could last hours
Dude the first drop you demonstrated made my face melt
The best ever tutorial of dubstep! Thank you so much!
Glad you think so!
i love your style of video bro, you keep in all of your process, and it's really helpful for us newbies!!
Nice video! At 7:10 in reference to overlapping notes it’s ok if you add glide while in mono so the note pitches blend, smooths out the bassline nicely.
Like your teaching style, no nonsense here's the information you need stylee. And the speed at which you do it. Great.
Bigups man, new sub here after this one! Definitely gonna put your template to good use, I'll hit you up when I make something cool with it - lots of love from Adelaide!
Let’s go! Going to run through this tomorrow on my day off :D
really love this video. helped me out a ton man thank you
Nice video, love how you go through some arrangement processes in here.
Really appreciate this one mate, thank you! 🙏💙💙❤️🔥
That was really good.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge, nice sounds!
What a great video and sound quality. What microphone do you use?

Sick

check out front to back my levity would love to know how to make that one keep doing ur thing bro
BRO.🎉❤
tried 4 or 5 times, input the info correctly and project file never gets to my email. plz upload link
how are you putting that reverb on the drums, feel like im missing something obvious!
I don't hear it moving from side to side so it can't be working
Where do you get your vocal samples like that from?
Hey bro I recently bought the template and tried to save out my changes but it said it wouldn't because of some licensing thing. I have Ableton standard and Max for Live, and I think I saw it say something about the Amp effect but I'm not sure what others it's having issues with, do you know a way to tell all the things I'm missing?
Hey man I'm not sure if the download link is working still? maybe i'm being impatient but it's been like 10 mins lol
Hey man, email us at info@edmprod.com if it's still not working and we'll help out :)
same for me, i just sent an email@@EDMProd
OMG YOU CAN ADD GROOVE TO LOOPS WTF
You can extract it from loops too!
oiiii
just for the record, ain't no thing called uk dubstep. that horrendous brostep shit, i wouldn't even wipe my arse with it..
good tutorial tho ;)
