കേരളത്തിലെ പൂജയുടെ രീതിയും വടക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലെ പൂജയുടെ രീതിയും വ്യത്യാസമായിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്?

@berrystraw Roots of Thanthra Sastram are found in Kashmir. There are Thantriks in North India. But the Thantram practised in Kerala is mainly associated with temples and its deities. Other than Swayambhoo deities, all temples are installations by man through prana-prathista of respective deities. Why the technique of pooja - ie. the kriya- found different in the Northern parts of India ? Could you find "Sreebhoothabali" in any North Indian temple? Even in Tamil Nadu? Its okay that we can accept the argument that the system of pooja at Guruvayur was designed by Adi Sankaracharya. But in Jagannatha Puri a different system is in operation. But the Mahaprasad of Puri is considered as the highest form of Prasadam available on this Earth.
