What I hate is that these people don't see that they deserve to be in jail. They do all the appeals they can. If someone is truly sorry they would advocate for how they dont deserve lienancy and whatever else the court deems right..which they seem to be wrong most of the time in that way on so many cases.

It wasn’t intentional, it was utter negligence. If meth weren’t involved, there’s a good chance she’d still be alive. Tweakers stay up for days on end and lose all concept of time. Those idiots probably thought that only 30 minutes had gone by. 😮

    • @redfootedbear
      @redfootedbear Год назад +27

@@shoosh222 I have to agree. I am a recovering meth addict and time goes by and works in an incredibly different way, the comparison to thinking 30 minutes had passed is relatively relatable.
When I was bad in my addiction, nights felt so quick, time slips out of your fingers, you get “stuck”, you simply forget obligations.
Depending on how spun they we’re, it’s fairly reasonable that they put her in the car with intention to go somewhere but we’re so spun and the drug typically makes people aroused that they got distracted and neglected her.

She didn’t care about the daughter at all. Her priorities were first her and her sexual life and last her daughter. That woman must spend the rest of her life in prison without parole. Horrific and unfathomable to even begin to imagine what that innocent, defenceless child endured while mommy dear wad just inches away. Mind blowing.

I wonder if the cameras had sound … because from the clip it looked to me that the mother was just standing there as if she knew what she was about to do and was going to put him in the fire as well because they both did drugs , I agree that the mother definitely needs a longer sentence. she clearly put her anger out on her own daughter because of things she had done and wasn't expecting his reaction to be like that..in my opinion

I don't think that the poster meant any insult.
I am a retired RN and worked with severely disabled children amongst other specialties.
And yes, caring for severely disabled children is a lot like caring for a baby. They require attention 24/7.
They are completely vulnerable and unable to do anything for themselves.
Feeding, physical care, baths etc, all must be done for them. But, unlike babies who grow up, these children will never change and require this high level of care their whole lives.
It is extremely hard but rewarding work. Sadly, these children will never grow up to be functioning adults. Some, not all, but some parents cannot cope and these kids are institutionalized.
This woman had choices. She could have placed her daughter in a facility like the ones I worked at where our patients were well looked after, loved and even thrived.

To compare addiction to alcohol or drugs to a disease like cancer or diabetes or dementia is sickening to me -- even with a precious little sister who was a raging alcoholic, and who lived the last 20 years of her life completely sober. The medical community decades ago that called addiction a disease has done more in this nation to ENHANCE and BLOW UP drugs and alcohol addiction than any other one thing -- giving addicts a powerful excuse to blame their immoral behavior on some medical issue beyond their control. Very sad -- and I know this is an unpopular position but those of us who believe this need to stand up and speak the truth.

If the mother wasn’t paying attention to her child she carried out into the car, then he should have stood up and said something. Why didn’t he ask if the child needed some air, if the child needed checked on, as they sat outside and kissed and cuddled while looking at the car sitting right in front of them. I’m sorry sir but you watched her stick her child in the car, actually, you carried her out to the car, then let her sit in the car, in front of you, as the woman stayed at your home and cuddled while watching the child die in the hot car.

We have a 14 month old son and now my husband is going through adoption of my daughter. To hear this man say he never as much as fed this little girl said enough to me.
My husband has cared for my daughter the same way I have and done all the hard things when I need a break.

For the life of me, can't get how the universe feels like good people who really want kids should not have them but is totally fine to send them to homes/parents that are cruel and mistreat them. Although she deserved to live, be given a chance to love/be loved back, I am grateful she no longer has to suffer anymore, or go through another hot car moment all alone. @@JS-csnjjip I agree everyone is different. But there was a time when they were not high. There was a time when they knew that child was alone in that car within the 5 hrs. Yet they did meth and left her there. Meth use is no excuse when it comes to the law as it should be. If I chose to drink and drive and ran over a disabled child wheeling herself across the street home and then I was not in my right mind to call 911 is not an excuse either.
Our country, as well as plenty others, are in an epidemic right now like never before. It’s horrible and it’s getting worse.

I knew of older couples who were retired that would accept children that needed extra help or would volunteer in a program that would allow older people to help you with your kids as a nanny or assist you.
