Yet kind of ironic how she apparently has their other kids and they didn't have access to guns and go shoot up a school. It shows so much of how the dynamic is with this family. When a father blatantly speaks badly about the other parent infront of their child really shows a lot about their character. How immature and irrational the Father probably is. He openly blames the ex for why they got kicked out of their home but with this outcome, I'm wondering if the Dad is a liar, too

    I feel terrible for the father. He was clearly trying to be a good father, and teach his son about gun safety and responsibility. Now he is facing big time prison time.

  • @WarriorWomann
    @WarriorWomann Месяц назад +2

    Now here’s a father in utter denial who thinks because his son proudly shot a deer, that he “understands the seriousness of firearms”. He had 2 separate warnings from law enforcement and STILL missed the risk factor with his son. He deserves prison as does his son who should be tried as an adult. Enough is enough either way these irresponsible parents who think leaving unloaded weapons around is safe. Absolute waste of human life and so preventable
    These two cops should be charged too. Way too casual

    I’m in my 20s I got anxiety n guns never had a thought to harm a school this is ridiculous anxiety makes you want to hide in bed n cancel plans this was purely a hate crime due to a year prior of his threats n fathers nowadays don’t know how to teach their kids manners or proper firearm use

    I disagree. I totally believe that the Father was unaware that his son could ever do something like this. I really think the kid hid it well and completely fooled his father. Real psycho’s can do that.

    • @justanotherguy469
      @justanotherguy469 Месяц назад +2

      I agree with you. He is a good father, who was trying to spend time with his son, and teach him gun safety and respect for firearms. Most dads do not even want their child after a divorce or separation
      The blame belongs squarely on the shoulders of the son. At 14, we know the difference between right and wrong, and after shooting a dear, he knew of the reality of death that a bullet will cause.

    • @Coffeedrinker291
      @Coffeedrinker291 Месяц назад +2

      I also agree. I saw a dad that seemed very concerned about his son’s emotional wellbeing, checking in on him at school and worrying about him. Trying to get him interested in things he did as a kid. He said none of the guns were loaded and no kid is going to be truthful about the negative things they are doing. And parents who don’t use computers much are not going to catch on to their online activity.

    If I'm on the jury, I can't fault the dad for not believing the boy, when the cops say they believe him & even discount the fbi intel. However, that would be the case if 1 of those guns were used. Buying him a readily available AR after this interaction is prob going to be dad's downfall.

    Maybe it’s because hindsight is 20/20 but definitely you can tell something is wrong, that the kid is lying, that he DID make the threats in discord. Combine the fact that he’s getting bullied is so obvious they need to follow up with the threats

    Unpopular opinion: These kids are hurting. No one is going to go shoot up a school, if they are not in some type of deep pain. He seems like he might be antisocial, a bit quiet and odd. He’s an easy target for other kids to pick on. Teach your children to be kind, to befriend the loners. Parents, be more present. His brain isn’t fully developed. I feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his victims as well. I just don’t believe there’s “bad” ppl. I think bad things have happened to ppl and it shapes ppl in bad ways. No one is born that evil. Something has happened.
