I think both have potential if Rockstar updates them. The Yacht should updated so that you can manage all your businesses. Also defenses upgrades for anti land and anti air weapons. The Luxor should be upgraded to have your own pilot and countermeasures.

After that, every time you load in, the yacht will be located in the same place. If you want to change where the yacht will appear every session, you can do that by paying $25K each time you change it. It also does not cost you any daily fees after you buy it. With basically all other properties/businesses, after you buy them, you get charged a certain daily amount for their utilities/staff/etc. Each additional property you purchase will increase the total cost to maintain them that you'll be charged every day. The yacht, however, is exempt from these. Buying a yacht will not increase your daily fees at all. I hope this helps.
