Actually submarines can’t take much hits in warfare. One hit to the hull and it’s a goner. They high powered sonar tracking ability’s for underwater and over water units and is untraceable by most units when under the water. There meant for like an underwater base that you can’t see, like a stealthy yet dangerous control center. Hence why they can’t take much hits.
But tbh, it's low tank makes it balanced, because the Submarine can completely avoid being hit by missiles from the air by diving underwater. And diving underwater also makes it go off the radar making it even harder for attackers to find and destroy it. Edit: Its also noted that the Submarine's durability is currently bugged and it currently varies alot. Some people say it can take up to 20 homing missiles to destroy, some people say it can take 8 rpgs and some people say less.
With the Kosatka you have to pay 2 thousand for the fast trip, it can move very slowly which is used for maneuvers only (for the Merriweather submarine mission, hahaha) But, with the Kosatka you can farm over $ 1 million a hit and you have Pavel who is way cooler than the yacht's skipper captain.
I like the yacht and all, but being able to actually drive it around would be amazing. just have the boats despawn when you start going and respawn when you drop anchor

That's not how it works I dont think (I could be wrong) , you can't be in any vehicle next to yacht whilst your air defenses are on, they just turn off or cannot turn on for "balance"

Yatch is practically a low standard apartment in the middle of the water with some upgrades and at an extremely high price. That is why it is indestructible and at the same time almost useless and does not recover even 5% of his value in contact missions, but he gains a "captain's outfit" if he does them, something that in the rockstar's mind would justify his price.

In reality they work well together. You can use the Yacht's anti air defenses to protect your submarine by parking it next to it. Any would be attacker who seeks to destroy it from the air would be in for a little surprise.

Sub is best. I don't even have to watch this to know; I own both. I wish I could sell my yacht. Btw, Pisces Yacht is best yacht. I've owned both the Aquarius and the Pisces, and the Pisces gets better vehicles and has an awning that protects the bridge against para-droppers when doing yacht defense. Also, it's easier to access the forward helipad on the Pisces layout than it is on the Aquarius. Oh, and the Pisces even looks kinda like a battleship if you paint it gray and run the green presidential lights. Looks really cool, especially in heavy fog as you don't see it until the last moment. :D
A thing that makes me annoyed is that to use radar, you need a Radar Mast, but the only one is used to lauch a "Anti Air Missile", i know it's a game but, please Rockstar, mind the little details, that makes the game more enjoyable
A Yacht is indestructible but trades off for being stationary and hardly usable for a mission worth millions, but the Kosatka has the means to make money, and has good weapons at the cost of being destructible like a Nightshark. Put these two together and you’ll have an automated defense covering you to protect you sub.

I think of it as one being the ultimate defense platform while the other is the intimate offensive platform. The tach is perfect to defend you against attack while the Sub has its own weapons shop for you upgraded Guns and you can attack with it in various ways. Love the pool vehicles too, and the submarine car added to it makes it the ultimate attack weapon platform. That’s why I have them both.
Rockstar games really need to buff the kosatka durability, like literally a freaking submarine that can be destroyed by 4 rpg’s and a yacht which cant be deatroyed by ANYTHING, literally rockstar, you have dissapointed us.

Love the pool vehicles too, and the submarine car added to it makes it the ultimate attack weapon platform. That’s why I have them both.

Rockstar games really need to buff the kosatka durability, like literally a freaking submarine that can be destroyed by 4 rpg’s and a yacht which cant be deatroyed by ANYTHING, literally rockstar, you have dissapointed us.

Honestly I love them both, if you have plenty of money to spend, go ahead and get the yacht. Same with the sub, I use the yacht as my house and a fun hangout spot with anti tryhard guns lol
