Season 19 literally at the last 2 weeks you could’ve gotten 1 red border per day. No reason why you couldn’t of just did that. If you didn’t get any of the red borders during season 19 that’s kinda your fault.

BE AWARE!!! The Harmonizers only work on weapons that HAVEN'T been Deepsighted before. So once you deepsight a weapon, if you need more deepsights to unlock the pattenr, you WILL need multiple copies of the same weapon, and you need to use multiple harmonizers. MEANING: if you want the Ikelos SMG pattern, and need 2 more deepsights to get the pattern unlocked, you will need 2 SEPERATE Ikelos SMG's, and each can only bee deepsighted once. so get multiples of that same weapon from Banshee, cuz it may not show up again.
I’d like to point out the fact that Bungie did say when they announced how these would work that there would be more to ways to get it in future, so while for now you only get 6, there should be more ways to get them in future. So do save them, but know that we shouldn’t be limited to only 6 in future seasons

Absolutely using this for my last phylotactic spiral. Spent about 10 hours farming for neomuna red borders before this season started and need one more.
No do not do that. Do golden patrol missions on neomuna. I get them fairly easily by doing the normal patrols in one single area, then a gold one appears, do that for a day and you’ll have a whole set of red borders drop.
I have a feeling it's gonna be possible to buy from Rahool at some point, where the cost is huge. maybe 800 or 1000 legendary shards, and limited to once per week or something, like Ascendant Alloys

Excited to have the harmonizers since I missed a lot of early craftable stuff, but I wish the free section had a couple more. Not everyone has the spare money to get the pass all the time and the total for both pass parts is enough for one gun and a spare. When I first heard about the harmonizers coming I stocked up on stuff to use them on so now I have between 30 and 50 weapons with rolls I probably won't use waiting for deepsight. If they add other ways to get them that will definitely be something I grind.

I swear Bungie hates new players. This system isn’t the worst for people who actually played those seasons and never finished the pattern but got a few cause you can still maybe get like 2 to 3 weapons a season but for new players, it’s literally only 1 weapon which is crazy. I don’t know why they always have to timegate shit.
Just to let people who may not know become aware, all of the ikelos seasonal weapons are capable of dropping as a red border world loot drop. They are very rare though
I’ve been on top of my seasons so definitely lucky. I used mine on the raid to reduce farming one boss over and over again. Very happy with that approach
You can also use them for the raid weapons if you are a solo player and you barely raid, or been having bad luck in getting the deepsight for the one you really want.

I was under the impression I was going to be able to craft more than one weapon this season. Do we know if we will be getting Harmonizers for the following seasons? I have 5 Bump in the Nights 5 Nez Whispers and 5 Ikelos Smgs just chilling in the vault. Now I have to prioritize which weapon I want to craft for the season. I think Xur should sell these said Harmonizers in the following weeks to come
Ikelos is probably the best legendary weapon in the game. I'd use it on that for sure. Even when it's not a season where we get low cost arc mods, I still use ikelos...actually, even before all of the mod changes when it was pretty much mandatory to match weapon to subclass, I would still use ikelos on a non arc subclass. It's really that good.

@@Steezy_Bruh the onllllly thing that might be of concern or note is that smg is not in the artifact for champion stunning this season. But still it's my go to for soloing, lots of pve, and pvp a lot of times. Calus mini tool is certainly s teir and there's nothing wrong with choosing to use it over ikelos, but here's my thinking on the perks. So with incandescent (which is usually the choice pve) it synergizes great with solar and even more now, and it's a pretty solid perk on its own anyway... but voltshot, imo, is so good and doesn't require any type of synergy.. as a stand alone perk to be able to proc jolt on a target of your choosing is invaluable. There's still not many weapons that can do it, and even then, a lot of the other weapons that have it aren't that good... or it's like a special weapon that you wouldn't really want volt shot on.. even though the jolt dmg scales much higher if it's a special or heavy weapon, still. The other really solid option that I used a lot to kind of prepare for this season with arc was Phylotactic spiral. So, if you have that crafted, you could just use it for that role, since it's in the same slot too. So, it's up to you. I still believe the ikelos smg is one of, if not the best legendary weapons in the game, but if you have the phylotactic spiral pulse rifle to have a way to get that powerful voltshot for free off of a primary as an option already, you could just pick what you want. If you need an arc glaive or want one since they're in the artifact for unstoppable champs again, it's a solid pick. Bump in the night is definitely a viable option and a+ to s tier for sure too. Slow stuns overloads always now also... so does jolt.. so there's that if you craft bump in the night with chill clip. So, you're still kind of left with a dilemma, but you'll know better if you need any of those to fit some thing in your kit, or if you just wanted to craft something strong for dmg.

All we know right now is you only have access to the 3-6 you can get from the pass depending on if you have the upgraded pass or not. I predict they will eventually offer some kind of weekly option to get more deepsight items to convert old weapons. Maybe Xur will sell one each week or offer a quest to get one. Hawthorn also offers a raid quest that looks to be a weekly that lets you buy raid gear with deepsight already on it. However at this time I think only letting us have 6 to start is the best move to give the non hoarders a chance to figure out the system and decide what they want to have crafted rather then the hoarders have all crafted items in a week. I really think their intent with this though was for people that are missing 1 or 2 on a weapon that you can not get anymore rather then for people to use 5 on the same weapon. Like I have a couple S rank and god rolls on craftable items that I dont have a single deepsight for and that is enough for me at this time. I am not going to burn harmonizers just so I can level the weapon up and get a slightly better version of the good perks I already have on one. Something else I noticed is season 20's artifact can still be picked up from that part of the helm and the battlegrounds are still there. So at least for this week you can still try to grind out red boarders for season 20 weapons if you did not get them all.
You can still get last season's weapons, harmonizers would be for things from WQ year that no longer have a direct path to acquire. Bungie did expressly state the season path was the only way to acquire harmonizers for the initial rollout, which does heavily imply alternative means of getting them in the future.
If each one is only good for a single red boarder then we will have a prob. are you going to need say 5 drangs so you can make each a red boarder and unlock the pattern? How are we going to get past season weapons unless the gunsmith sells the one you want and you buy a bunch of copies.
banshee sold an Austringer. grab 5 austringers from banshee (yes the rolls will be the same) which have deep sight harmonizer compatibilities. put them away until you have the 6 deep sight harmonizers. those 5 austringers are now red borders in your vault by using the (DH). It applies to other weapons as well not just austringer, but other weapons that can use (DH)
Each harmonizer counts as 1 pattern progress. So if you don't have any progress on the weapon you want, you will need to use 5 harmonizers to unlock crafting on said weapon..
@iKyleMoney Bungie explained it. I watch many videos so I can't remember where I saw it. Also for those wanting to just purchase weapons at the end of the raids for spoils, I believe they also said you can't use harmonizers on purchased weapons.

I yelled this at the screen just moments ago while watching Saywallah’s video on the 120 Handcannon. He even scored four red borders of that gun, in a row, one after the other and with the rest of the season left to find 1 more and not knowing what he might want to craft, he spent a deep sight harmoniser just to craft it now.

Now the true question is if the harmonizer applied only gives a single step (of the 5 or so it needs) towards the pattern or just unlocks the pattern. I would hope the full pattern based on how rare these items are.

Not gonna lie am guardian rank 10 never farmed for specific guns except exotics, just use what you have and make the best out of it. Saves alot of time and makes you a better player. Im not saying people who do are bad but skill can certainly replace stats in certain situations.
Going to use One for the last wish hand cannon. Have all the previous good weapons crafted, so i can use some harmonizer on weapons in the current season such as weapons from last wish 👌

I guess it's a good thing the only one I really want is Austringer. I do eventually want a Hollow Denial or Tarnished Mettle, but Austringer is so damn good.

@oldschool2205 it means you will need at least 5 of your six cards to get an austringer at this time. But you can still farm the season and last season for those weapons. Basicly, any weapons from witch queen to night fall will need the tokens for crafting. So dont use them on raid weapons, or thi gs from the release of lightfall. I hope this helps.
If you no life like me and have all the past season weapons, use it for duality weapons or newer ones. I’m gonna use mine on some last wish and seasonal weapons now since i have everything
I have a stupid question, how do you know when a weapon is from this season? For example, since we are in the season of the deep end, it seems like the symbol for it looks like a square flower with circles on the four corners. Does that mean that any weapon that doesn’t have that symbol on the top left corner of the icon is from another season? Because I also notice that sometimes the symbol is from a specific expansion which tells me it probably was released during the time that expansion was released. I never see this talked about anywhere in any videos, that’s why I ask. It seems to just be common knowledge that I never picked up.
Do they make it a craftable weapon or do they just make it a Redborder? Like if I wanted the retrofit would I have to use 5 to unlock the patter or does one make it craftable?
One harmonizer counts towards one progression. It also seems you can only hold one at a time. Im at season pass 83 and I have two I cant grab until I spend the one I have. With that said there is only two weapon patterns I dont have and they are from the root raid. So witin time I can get the last two I need by doing challenges. With that said whats left to spend them on?
Although I like the idea of the Deepsight Harmonizers personally I don’t know what weapons to use them on. I know of one weapon I’ll be looking for. The two new hand cannons reload is way to slow, at least for me, to even deal with them. Bungie could have made the Circular Logic with a pattern, since it is a strand machine gun.

It acts like a singular red border. That's all it does, turns a weapon that can be crafted into a red border so you can fill out or start filling out whatever crafted weapons you need
It sucks they are limited but I think this is more just a test to see if it's too many or not enough. They still want you to grind, but I think it's more of a way to finish red border weapons such as me getting iterative loop.

Oh i definitely collected last season.... But as a player who returned pretty much final week of season 19, the thought of only being able to get 1 MAYBE 2 of the patterns i really want for an entire season really grinds my gears the wrong way 😑. Already have every weapon crafted from every prior season, also have every Last Wish one done(from the farm) and only need a couple more patterns for this season's weapons as well(also from LW farm but from getting Deep engrams every kill), and all this b4 I got to the first harminizor on the pass. So I won't be able to use them on anything and I'm wondering if I'll be able to pull them from the app one at a time next season like we can currently do with other stuff from past seasons. Everyone else in my clan has also already gotten them all so we're just gonna test it out with the reprised raid next season(hopfully Wrath) and if it works that means 11 in total we can have for it.
I'm saving up my deepsight Harmonizers for when Retrofit Escapade lmg returns that is my main objective. To get that gun seen videos of it in action it is cracked the destruction it causes especially with Void.

Its nuts, i have almost every weapon in the game crafted except for those two! (And the current seasonal weapons, but those will be easy, you never need to go out of your way to get them)

Like I have a couple S rank and god rolls on craftable items that I dont have a single deepsight for and that is enough for me at this time. I am not going to burn harmonizers just so I can level the weapon up and get a slightly better version of the good perks I already have on one.
Something else I noticed is season 20's artifact can still be picked up from that part of the helm and the battlegrounds are still there. So at least for this week you can still try to grind out red boarders for season 20 weapons if you did not get them all.
You can still get last season's weapons, harmonizers would be for things from WQ year that no longer have a direct path to acquire.
Bungie did expressly state the season path was the only way to acquire harmonizers for the initial rollout, which does heavily imply alternative means of getting them in the future.

If each one is only good for a single red boarder then we will have a prob. are you going to need say 5 drangs so you can make each a red boarder and unlock the pattern? How are we going to get past season weapons unless the gunsmith sells the one you want and you buy a bunch of copies.
And I checked the static roll you can get from collections does not drop with the ability to unlock deepsight on it.
banshee sold an Austringer.
grab 5 austringers from banshee (yes the rolls will be the same) which have deep sight harmonizer compatibilities.
put them away until you have the 6 deep sight harmonizers.
those 5 austringers are now red borders in your vault by using the (DH).
It applies to other weapons as well not just austringer, but other weapons that can use (DH)

Each harmonizer counts as 1 pattern progress. So if you don't have any progress on the weapon you want, you will need to use 5 harmonizers to unlock crafting on said weapon..

@iKyleMoney Bungie explained it. I watch many videos so I can't remember where I saw it. Also for those wanting to just purchase weapons at the end of the raids for spoils, I believe they also said you can't use harmonizers on purchased weapons.

I yelled this at the screen just moments ago while watching Saywallah’s video on the 120 Handcannon. He even scored four red borders of that gun, in a row, one after the other and with the rest of the season left to find 1 more and not knowing what he might want to craft, he spent a deep sight harmoniser just to craft it now.
its his job to play destiny, a) he needs to get to content before competitors b) he most likely has everything prior to this season done anyways.
yeah I'm saving these for the next raid (I think it will be Wrath of the Machine) and be able to craft my preferred weapon within a few weeks easily
Nice one! Gunna let my clan mates know immediately. Couple folks already planning to use them on the seasonal weapons when i know full well they're say on a few raid weapons missing 1 or 2 Deepsight Frames! Will let them know to prioritise!

Now the true question is if the harmonizer applied only gives a single step (of the 5 or so it needs) towards the pattern or just unlocks the pattern. I would hope the full pattern based on how rare these items are.

How does it work for past weapons? I have one Ikelos V1.3 from Season 19.
Kali farm can give you hundreds of deep and defiant engrams, no need to use harmonizers or even grind too hard with seasonal activities ;)

Retrofit is a good one to grind and make as well. I still use that as my go to machine gun

Not gonna lie am guardian rank 10 never farmed for specific guns except exotics, just use what you have and make the best out of it. Saves alot of time and makes you a better player. Im not saying people who do are bad but skill can certainly replace stats in certain situations.

Going to use One for the last wish hand cannon. Have all the previous good weapons crafted, so i can use some harmonizer on weapons in the current season such as weapons from last wish 👌
Last wish weapons can drop as red borders now, don't waste the harmonizer on it.

@oldschool2205 it means you will need at least 5 of your six cards to get an austringer at this time. But you can still farm the season and last season for those weapons. Basicly, any weapons from witch queen to night fall will need the tokens for crafting. So dont use them on raid weapons, or thi gs from the release of lightfall. I hope this helps.
If you no life like me and have all the past season weapons, use it for duality weapons or newer ones. I’m gonna use mine on some last wish and seasonal weapons now since i have everything
I have a stupid question, how do you know when a weapon is from this season? For example, since we are in the season of the deep end, it seems like the symbol for it looks like a square flower with circles on the four corners. Does that mean that any weapon that doesn’t have that symbol on the top left corner of the icon is from another season?
Because I also notice that sometimes the symbol is from a specific expansion which tells me it probably was released during the time that expansion was released. I never see this talked about anywhere in any videos, that’s why I ask. It seems to just be common knowledge that I never picked up.

you can still farm it by completing heroic patrols on Neomuna.
You can still get ikelos red borders, from the gunsmith engrams. I git a hand canon a few weeks ago

One harmonizer counts towards one progression. It also seems you can only hold one at a time. Im at season pass 83 and I have two I cant grab until I spend the one I have. With that said there is only two weapon patterns I dont have and they are from the root raid. So witin time I can get the last two I need by doing challenges. With that said whats left to spend them on?
Although I like the idea of the Deepsight Harmonizers personally I don’t know what weapons to use them on. I know of one weapon I’ll be looking for. The two new hand cannons reload is way to slow, at least for me, to even deal with them. Bungie could have made the Circular Logic with a pattern, since it is a strand machine gun.

It acts like a singular red border. That's all it does, turns a weapon that can be crafted into a red border so you can fill out or start filling out whatever crafted weapons you need

It sucks they are limited but I think this is more just a test to see if it's too many or not enough. They still want you to grind, but I think it's more of a way to finish red border weapons such as me getting iterative loop.

You can, but that’s kinda a waste considering the raids arent leaving anytime soon and you can get 2 guaranteed deepsights a week
Used one on an Adept Rufus Fury, well worth it. Would recommend using it for a raid weapon/God Roll, if applicable.

Oh i definitely collected last season.... But as a player who returned pretty much final week of season 19, the thought of only being able to get 1 MAYBE 2 of the patterns i really want for an entire season really grinds my gears the wrong way 😑. Leave it to bungie to bring out something awesome yet immensely infuriating at the same time

Already have every weapon crafted from every prior season, also have every Last Wish one done(from the farm) and only need a couple more patterns for this season's weapons as well(also from LW farm but from getting Deep engrams every kill), and all this b4 I got to the first harminizor on the pass. So I won't be able to use them on anything and I'm wondering if I'll be able to pull them from the app one at a time next season like we can currently do with other stuff from past seasons. Everyone else in my clan has also already gotten them all so we're just gonna test it out with the reprised raid next season(hopfully Wrath) and if it works that means 11 in total we can have for it.
I'm saving up my deepsight Harmonizers for when Retrofit Escapade lmg returns that is my main objective. To get that gun seen videos of it in action it is cracked the destruction it causes especially with Void.
Right time to get some vision of confluences in stock to get ready just incase they update that.

You can only use them on weapons that can be crafted, I'll will suggest looking at the catalyst and patterns tab to see which weapons can be crafted.

Going to spend mine on the neomuna weapons, i still dont have the hc and the fusion, the best ones, and bungie just keeps making it harder and harder to farm for them. Its nuts, i have almost every weapon in the game crafted except for those two! (And the current seasonal weapons, but those will be easy, you never need to go out of your way to get them)
