    I can’t believe how much i learned just watching this 😂 The Holding R while dragging tip is a life saver! I was sick of having to manually change the speed of clips

    Way cool tutorial. More 'film look' and how to make video pop is desirable. A dedicated tutorial on the vibrance slider would be good since you seem to be the only person on planet earth that understands the tool.

    great video! I filmed a video for a sponsor last Wednesday and due to the weather it wasn't all that. It is a very big sponsor so I was looking for some sunshine to add to my video and there you came with this tutorial! As if you guessed what I needed. Again, you made my day. Thank you.

    hi, I was just wondering if the mask would move with the mask-covered area when the video resumes playing?

    • @AlexSvanArt
      @AlexSvanArt 4 года назад

      Actually no. You have to either manually animate its position or use tracking

    • @DukDolan
      @DukDolan 4 года назад

      you would have to manually make key frames for that

    Hypothetical question (as I know it would be silly to attempt to add bokeh like this IRL): But, would you keyframe the mask if you attempted to apply this to a moving subject?

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  6 лет назад

      It's definitely not hypothetically, you can absolutely keyframe the mask to move with the movement of your subject, I show how to keyframe masks in this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/SZU7k446TS4/видео.html

    Very cool! I've seen other masking tutorials before, but this was the first one that actually felt clear, concise, and useful. Thanks, Premiere Gal! :)

    Or if you film in 1080 just get a closer shot or position your subject when shooting and you are good to go.

  • @kcoppa
    @kcoppa 6 лет назад

    Why not just put the mask on the blur effect instead duplicating the video. You are rendering you color grade twice the way you did it.

    • @PremiereGal
      @PremiereGal  6 лет назад

      There will be a black hole where the mask is then. need information below to fill in.

      Premiere Gal at 6:25 where you click the pen tool under opacity. Instead You can click the pen tool under gaussian blur.
