The most interesting thing about that Orient-Brentford game i can remember as an 11 year old was when Steve Watts scored the winner and his first goal for Orient to make it 2-1, he ran over and kissed the lineswoman.

Fucking funny if you ask me,weird and strange,but every one to their own… He s never used a urinal in his life,he only uses cubicle…😂 Great presentation,and all round professional podcast..and the camera man/technician as well. Interesting comments re Poll. I was a linesman to him in the Isthmian League when he was coming through the process. He was an excellent referee but he was an arrogant twat even then. Also intrigued by both Kevin and Jeff Winters comments about if your face didn't fit. I was a victim of this, my feeder league referees secretary told me I had to have upset someone important as my referee marks were far better than a lot of his referees who had been promoted to the Isthmian League middle. It does sound very much like I refereed in a similar way to Jeff and Kevin

Very funny but have to disagree regarding decisions even themselves out over the season, the so called big teams, the money teams, get a lot more decisions than a smaller club.

I was at the Wigan v Bristol Rovers game he talked about and it's absolutely true that the BR players were desperately trying to get another red card in order to have the match abandoned. Often I think these 'after dinner' tales are embellished, but that tale is absolutely true. It was hilarious on the night, watching the ref punish a team by going out of his way to not punish them!
