Cool pickups Schoon! That bagged Superman is a new one to me. I think you will like the Byrne Doomsday +1… very early work but it showed his talent. Love the Double Cover & MJ insert… can’t be many that have those two qualities. Thanks for sharing.👍
Hello Sir! It is a pleasure for me to write to you. My name is Santiago and I am from Argentina. I have also been a big fan of comics since my teenage years (I am 40 years old now) and have always collected everything related to the death, funeral, and return of Superman. Today I can say that I am your fan too! Because although I have always been a great collector of this DC arc and everything related to it (any appearance of Doomsday, all the omnibus and TPB variants, publications of the death of Superman published in Brazil, Chile and of course Mexico and Argentina), after watching your videos I decided to embark on completing all the variants of all the issues. I already have a large percentage of them, missing only about 30 newsstands that unfortunately are not available at all in Argentina, and bringing them from abroad is not easy. You are truly amazing and I watch all your videos. I have been fortunate enough to travel to your beautiful country 5 times in my life, and on my last visits, I returned with suitcases full of comics. What a pleasure! In April, I am planning a new trip to your country, and I already want to complete my collection (of the arc I mentioned to you, then I collect thousands of more comics, but my goal is that Superman arc). I was thinking of traveling to Denver, CO to visit Milehighcomics, for example, although I would like to have everything purchased from eBay and receive it at the hotel upon arrival. Now! I don't want to bore you any longer and wanted to ask you where you recommend traveling within the USA as a lover of what we love so much; is there any place better than another for finding this material? I thank you for all the material you upload, you are phenomenal!! You have inspired me and I wish you the best. Everyone should watch your channel. You are incredible! I hope you can respond, this is the first message I've written on RUclips in history, but I know this one is worth it. All the best to you and your family!! Best regards,
@@SantiagoBarbin Hello! What a nice message! I’m touched. You should be able to find those newsstand editions without too much trouble. Any major city has a ton of comic book shops you could most likely find them. Chicago would be my first choice. Thank you so much for the kind words and good luck!
Half Price Books' comic prices are all over the place. They have no idea, generally, which comics should be in their locked cases at higher prices. In any case, it's always a great place to hunt for comics.
When I was 8 years old, my mom refused to let me buy a certain comic due to the three shapely ladies that were on the front cover. And it would be almost 30 years before I would finally buy it for myself… that’s right, it was Batman Adventures 12!
I love those cons with just vendors and collectors. Definitely find the better stuff at those. Nice pick ups!
@@TheIncredibleCJ I love those shows! Cosplay and all that stuff is fine, but I’m rolling in for the comics.
Great grabs all around. I've never found a double cover or a Mark's Jewelers, but both in one book? Nice. Really digging that Shazam cover.
@@calebleland8390 I got very lucky.
I used to have a few double covers . I even got McFarland to sign my double cover of Amazing Spider-man # 312 .
@@brademerick9181 Nice!!
I think you need to change your RUclips channel name to Comics on the Cheap!
Your comic luck is Awesome! Yes please be back soon!
Definitely a fan!
Thanks so much! I like the name idea. 🤔

Those 1.25 books were.soldout at all local shops only found 5 books.
