@@dylanbenjamin5686 haha! Thats good, glad your learning something, not too many clear and straight forward videos on the 4ages out there I found when searching doing the 20v swap and going through the full tear down and re assembly process. Kind of why I started making a few video's myself so there is something and shows anyone can do it.
random query; do you have any idea why your grille has that gti-16 badge in the bottom corner? all the other nz gtis ive seen just have toyota in the middle. looks cool as, I want it!
Hey. It's an factory badge they come out with in the bottom corner, I have seen others the same also here in NZ. When I brought the car in 2004 it was stock standard, had the Toyota badge in the middle also but I removed it to give the front a cleaner look.
Not too sure to be honest, I ran coby 4:1 headers for many years which gave good top end power, ideally 4:2:1 would be best to give more mid power. Any 20v ones will fit too, just need to slot the end bolt holes. A good header will be pricey though, Brendan at Niteparts in Auckland has made some nice custom ones I have seen. My 20v header is a stock one painted
