When you decide to start growing more by seed (because you will every season) go to home Depot and grab one of those big shelves for $100 and some $20 LED shop lights (2 per tier) and you'll be able to grow a ton in a relatively small space. You hook the lights up with chains so you can raise and lower the lights as your baby seedlings grow. 🌱🌱🌱

Computer Science student and database tester here!! It's so cool that you're learning about python :D it's used often in machine learning and data science cases. but still, you can also make your own website with the django framework with python!! and if you're experienced with html, you can combine the two and make a neat lil website. also, apps are a thing you can do too! there's so many facets of CS and so many languages with their own niche uses. it can be overwhelming, especially when you go from the basics to learning algorithm design and stuff. it just makes me so happy that you're learning a little bit about it and being a lifelong learner 💛

I decided to take a little break from this grueling Python course I just started with this video and it was very SURREAL listening to you describe the exact experience I am having with it. I'm proud of us for trying something new and hard!
I would attach a gutter and down spout, maybe a rain collection system for the chicken water, on the side of the roof that goes in the caged area. Just incase it rains heavy. It will direct the rain away from the entrance.

I’m late to the party which is my style because I’m always late to everything. I came across your channel because I searched for how to reduce sugar in your diet and your video on cutting sugar out was suggested to me. RUclips suggested it just to be clear. Since watching that video I have been watching all your videos from the beginning as well as some of the newer ones. I have to say I really love your channel and I find it extremely refreshing to watch someone who’s just being themselves and showing others all the struggles of weight loss, anxiety and depression, and just the ups and downs of life. You have a great sense of humour and I just wanted to say that you’re a brave person for putting yourself out there for the world to see and you’re an inspiration to a lot of people.

I feel ya on the Python...I took that course 3 different times, and always ended up dropping it at about 3-4 weeks in because it all made sense until none of it made sense. I found C# easier to use/understand.

Chicken coop tip that may be helpful...Run a screw through a large washer to secure your hardware cloth for extra security. A lot faster and a great way to hardware cloth a door instead of using staples and hammering. I'd also recommend putting some type of cheap trim along the edges inside the shed to keep the poo from falling into the crevices. Lastly, consider contractor sand in your run once the grass disappears (it'll happen faster than you think.) You can kitty litter scoop the poop out, it keeps it clean/less smelly and is great for dust bathes. These are just my recommendations after building my own coop via trial and error. I can give advice if needed. It's looking great so far and you'll love having the ladies!

Hey Bea, just a heads up for your seedlings: there is such a thing as too much light. It can make the plants grow taller, but they wont produce enough roots to hold themselves up (sometimes called "leggy seeds"). SO make sure to read up on how much light (intensity and hours) your little plants need to set yourself up for success :)

Little tip when your putting screws near the end of a board. Drill a pilot hole first to minimize the risk of splitting the wood. ❤ your plant babies look happy.

Just a pro-tip, if you pre-drill your screw holes, you significantly reduce the risk of splitting the wood. It's an extra step, but worth it, and especially helpful when you're near the end of a piece of wood. Just be sure to choose drill bits that are about the size of the core shaft of the screw or a little smaller (that is, without the actual little corkscrew edge bit) so that the screw is able to grip the wood.

For your baby plants, get an oscillating fan. That simulates wind. This will help them not be too leggy when you're ready to plant outside.

I recently bought PairEyeware with the changeable frames. They’ve been a lot of fun. I have a red pair, green, tortoise and even a Charlie Brown pair that is two toned with a tiny Sally in the corners :-)
My Nasturtium like plain dirt with sand in it to help it drain well. They don't do well in healthy soil...like you need for a garden🙃 Pots of Nasturtium in the garden will look lovely too!!!
You can add the nasturtium flowers to salads as they are edible also. You can also make tea out of them.
