@clutterbug Thank you for your videos! You’ve inspired me. I’m a single mom of two, recovering from 9 surgeries and two bad car accidents in the last five years! Can’t keep up like I used to and can’t get my kids to pitch in most of the time. I always try to express to my friends that I’m so exhausted from having to clean to actually clean and I never get the cleaning done I wanted too because I’m too busy cleaning for it. 😂I know it doesn’t make sense to people but to me it does. Lol I desperately need help in here. We have a two bedroom so space is VERY limited. I’m shocked how much stuff we’ve gained after starting over with nothing! I want to donate most of my stuff! Just not enough health, strength or energy to get it all done. I appreciate your videos more than you know!
For 25 years I was a retail store manager. And many of those years was clothing. I never let anybody overstuff the racks because customers couldn’t look thru the clothing if there wasn’t at least 6 inches to move the clothes along to see the next garment. And I hate stores that overstuff. I wish they wouldn’t do that. They’d sell more if people could look thru things easier 😊
Absolutely true. If I cannot slide the hanger to look at a piece of clothing I will not make the effort to take off rack, look at it and then squeeze it back in. I will just leave and find a store that values their customers. So thank you for your approach.
@@martyC9578 Yes 👍🏻😀 I had district managers (who never worked in stores but had business degrees ) come into my stores and tell me I needed to put more things on the rack so they would sell. Meanwhile, my sales were better than other stores. And you couldn’t tell them anything because they knew it all. Lol.
I do that at home too. I used to work in the back of an office. I would open the back door and listen to the birds. It made my work day so much better. 😊
The battle of me depressed making my home depressed and then back again. I spend my work breaks tidying up to battle the depression piles but man this is an uphill battle
We can do this! Have you watched Clutterbug’s video on the mental health benefits of cleaning? While you’re cleaning, it can belike meditation when you put yourself in that frame of mind.
Keep one area clear at all times! Make it your kitchen table. Then defend with beauty. I know how hard it is. Clutterers Anonymous is really helpful, too.
Put the clothes straight in a bag to donate/recycle, rather than on the floor. Saves a step and also means you don't look at it twice and change your mind!
Nooooo! There's another step before just Doing the sorting! Once its all in a pile on the floor its easier to just stuff the clothes in the bag or box and Get outta there!
My friend helped me declutter my closet and she did this! Once it went in the bag, I couldn't get it back out! And if I hesitated, in the bag it went! I was upset for maybe a day and wondering if I gave anything away that I still wanted (we went right afterwards and donated them), but now, I can't even tell you what I donated! 😅🤷♀️ And I still need to declutter more!
Where I live they stopped doing the drive by donation trucks and the thrift stores charge to take stuff (and are super picky about what they will even ‘accept’) so I end up cleaning out clothes and then having piles of trash bags in my living room and thus MORE negativity I have to look at…ugh
@@audreym3777 Whoa, where is that? How can a thrift store refuse to take stuff, that is literally their job! I would find a nearby city with different thrift stores and give them my business instead. The one trying to charge people is ripping you off, and does not deserve your business! 🤯
Loved your concept of 'friction'. Years ago when my kids were young, I closed my eyes and walked thru my day and made a note of anything that made me feel anxious, then brainstormed solutions. The biggest anxiety trigger was 4:00 and nothing planned for dinner. Meal planning was the answer. 'Friction points' can be both physical (junk in the way) or mental (no plan).
I've been putting off watching this video because my home is a disaster because I'm mildly depressed...and the mess and clutter just makes me more depressed. I'm binge watching/listening to a bunch of your videos today while I clean and declutter. Your presentation is soothing to me and it is like having a friend help me without having to "people" for the day! Not getting enough done, but reclaiming the living room and dining room, which will be huge for me! So thanks, and this video hit home!
Oh my gosh, you made me laugh with your closet clean out! I wish you were here to do mine with me because I feel like it might actually be fun! We just sold our house that we lived in for 19 years. Whatever could go into storage until we find a new house, did. The rest had to come with us to our small cabin (which was already full) where we're living temporarily. The entire downstairs is full of boxes, suitcases, and general stuff, with only small, narrow pathways to get to the bathroom and washing machine. Ugggg!! I had a bit of a mental breakdown because of the clutter and chaos, so this video was perfect for me right now. I love you too pieces and thank you for always making me laugh. XOXO ❤️ 🥰
Hi Cass, I always love hearing your firefighter updates! I am a young FF, & I can totally relate to those silly mistakes; Don't feel bad! On a real car fire, I've clipped in to air without turning my bottle on first (There was no air). The way I see it, if God wants you there, he will make a way, & help you to succeed. Draw near to the Lord, for he has perfect plans for you! 😁
I'm watching as I declutter our closet! I have a lot of clothes from when I too was 125 and not a sausage casing! 😂 I can donate or just get rid of so much. I tried to sell on Poshmark. Lol!
The sausage casing comment made me laugh out loud! I relate to that!!! And I am very overwhelmed… I’ve been very ill for many years. Trying to do a few things in the moments I’m feeling I’m ok-ish is not enough for keeping up with just daily activities. Getting out of pyjamas? Lofty goal, if I also hope to make a simple meal. Clean or declutter? It must be done, but how??? I used to be a runner and weightlifter, and had a highly active job and travelled Europe and… and… and… I’m not old. I just got sick. I’m laying here wondering how to get the energy to get up and it is so hard to know where to start. I occasionally come here and feel so inspired, and then look around me and it’s so hard to know where to even start because I know it’s impossible to catch up and/or keep up. But giving up is not an option, and I’d rather keep getting inspired, prodded, and kicked in the butt to keep trying than quitting. :) I relate so much with Cas in that I’m an absolute “Clutterbug” in methodology and thought process, she’s SO funny, and I love her channel!!
Ask your doctor for antidepressants, open your blinds every morning, and take a 30 minute walk outdoors in the sunlight every day. These three steps really do help, and help fast!
This course is the best anti-shame money you can ever spend. And when the year is up, and your house hasn't changed, renew for only 10 bucks forever! It keeps decluttering in the foreground for me even if I'm just watching other people do it. Some places look a lot better, esp the all day declutter when for the whole day I only got one closet done but these are my people mostly. I didnt know of Cas till the class as I joined because of Dawn, but Cas is the best and fun cheerleader! Join. Best antidepressant and anti-shame pill ever.
I don’t t iron my clothes before putting them in the cupboard. I only STEAM the piece I am going to wear - it usually takes under 1 minute, dresses maybe two to three minutes, if they are long… The hand held steamer is small, practical and I don’t need to pull out an ironing board etc.
I've wondered about buying a small hand held steamer as I have a (very) bad back and ironing is a real problem. But I've resisted because I didn't know if a steamer was as effective as the ads tell us.
@@gaynorprice-jones1826 I don't know if you'll see this, but here are my thoughts. It doesn't give clothes that crisp look that you get from ironing, but it does take out the wrinkles, unless they are really set in. Mine is especially good for lighter fabrics, but not linen or a thick cotton. It can work, but it's easier just to iron those things, imho. I have Conair that I'm happy with.
Have you guys tried Downy Wrinkle Release spray? I found it back in early 2000's and immediately got rid of my iron and ironing board. It takes 10 seconds and smells good too!
Cancer survivor 2015 and now have a slow growing cancer recently treated with immunotherapy. Sending hugs your way. I am grateful Every Day to be at home and Alive. Clean or dirty house. Grateful for list every day.
My sister and I went to "lunch" tho she realized she had to be in Pt before we would go to eat! I got to sit and relax over an hour and no requirement for me to clean and declutter.. My Sis is in the victory stages of getting free , surgery and therapy complete.. New lump has shrunk tho she's getting clean of infection aT this point. Recovery Sweeet!! 😁grin 😀
Friction! Didn't know the name for it but it has been my biggest motivator. One day I was making my husband's shake like always, and realized that I had to traverse the entire kitchen to get to my shake supplies. I said to myself that I needed to move those things to where I make my shakes. It was causing me Friction . Several cupboard changes later, while decluttering,I now have a more useful layout to my kitchen. The biggest bonus was the pots and pans that were in the cupboard where I wanted my shake supplies. The new place where they got moved to actually makes easier access to them. They fit the new spot so much better. All this because of the Friction of having to traverse my kitchen. I also learned that just because you set your kitchen up one way doesn't mean that is the only way.
I remember reading/hearing about how some times you need to do something important (like study) but first you feel the need to clean up and get everything tidy before you can even start that. Because your mind needs to calmness to be able to do that and not be distracted. After learning that, I always say to myself, ok if I want to accomplish *this* I need to pave the way first by cleaning/decluttering first!
Honestly, my husband and I are handling this now. We rent a 100+ year old home that our landlord refuses to remodel. It's very cute and rustic but it wasn't designed for function and there's SO much wasted space. We are working on moving out and donating anything that doesn't need to come. I've quickly learned that it's not necessarily the size of the house, but it's functionality of my home.
I think you may be my favorite comedian 😂 absolutely laugjing tears over here hearing your comments as you go through your clothes to get rid of your shirts....hilarious 😅 SO relatable!
Just started chemo for stage 4 cancer diagnosed March 6th. My house is a huge source of stress, and now being home all day around it is depressing. Thank you for your humor and inspiration! #toocoolforhenleys
“What are you, Steve Jobs?” And I almost spit my coffee laughing 😂 I love you ❤ you make my days happier, funnier, lighter 😊 Love from an Italian fan 🐞
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪🤪🤪🤪 Yes she's soooo hilarious esp whilst doing her cabinet declutter!! I'm wheezing with laughter. Definitely not wise to eat or drink whilst watching this
This closet declutter and hearing your comments of why things are staying and why they're going was so cathartic. You were brutal with your decluttering and it totally worked! I love the concept of "friction."
My house has so much friction right now. Too many dishes and too much clothing in particular. I love cooking but I’m afraid of getting rid of excess cookware. Maybe I need to put big event appliances and seasonal things in the basement. Like my giant roasting pans and food dehydrator. I won’t need that, likely, for a few months. That can free up a lot of breathing room in my kitchen. I’m down sizing clothes right now as I listen. I’m sick of several baskets of unfolded clean laundry hidden in several rooms.
For the past 6 months off and on we’ve been decluttering and donating to the diabetes association, but this past January our landlord said he was selling the house. So we got right into decluttering even more since we downsized. We sent probably close to 50 boxes to the diabetes charity. And still donating since we’ve moved.
Yes! I am a huge fan of painting rooms white to reflect the maximum amount of daylight. Especially living in Wales where it rains most days, every bit of natural (or artificial) light is precious! My new place was painted entirely landlord beige when I moved in. It was warm, but dark and dingy, and it sucked the colour out of everything. Just lifting the walls to white and putting in some daylight bulbs makes the place feel so much brighter, friendlier and alive. Then in the evenings I can use warm-tinted side lamps to make it feel just as cosy as it ever did.
@@sunshine3914 Cas just did that during the video! But the clothes she loves are already wrinkled and they aren't really going to unwrinkle themselves. Rather than rewash clean clothes, she can just fluff them in the dryer. That was the whole point of the comment.
You inspired me to unclutter every nook and cranny of my home over a few months and I upgraded and updated things. It was fun to donate things to people who wanted them. I'm minimized and organized in a 30 ft. motorhome with a dog and a cat. It's also important to let in fresh air every day and blow out the dust.
Congrats Cass on how far you have come with all the firefighter stuff. I can’t even imagine doing any of that. Mistakes or not doesn’t matter! Still very impressive.
Friction! Now I know what is between me and the life I want to live!!! Our office is so bad. I told my husband I feel like shaking it upside down to throw everything out!
I'm so glad I didn't have a mouth full of wine when you said, "I loved this at a buck 25 and now it's just a sausage casing." OMG!! I'd of spewed liquid grapes all over my keyboard and monitor!! 😆
I was watching this on my TV but I had to come to my computer to find this comment because I couldn’t hold In my laughter and I knew others were going to comment the same thing!😂❤
So true! All of her comments about her clothes as she tossed them are how I’ve felt about mine. Thanks to her and minimal mom, I’ve got a closet that’s much more under control and it’s easier to declutter the pieces that now occasionally creep in and annoy me.
Cas you continue to inspire me. I use the body double statagy when watching your videos. I get more done. Thank you so much, our home is running smoother now.
My husband and I both love them, too!! We've been looking for something like them. Our little town doesn't have a great selection so we're going to look this weekend in Chicago! 😊❤
I don't know if you've thought about this, but it would be nice to donate your clothes to a nursing home instead of Goodwill. Many of those residents don't have the income or even family to buy them new clothes. (Although, ask the nursing home first to see if they take them.)
So grateful for you and your videos. Also gotta say that it was so wonderful to see you use your foot to close the dishwasher(7:57). LOL. Ain't nobody got time to bend over and grab that thing. Thanks a mil.
The clothes section is great, I love the quick decisions. But did it leave you thinking "why did I move all of these items I'm now getting rid of"??!! Love how much closet space you have now after that small one in your previous house.
I was born and raised in Colorado ( 48 years) and I understand the whole seasonal depression thing, especially winter 8 months of sadness, darkness, and down right horrible winter weather. I have moved to a different state and everything has changed, I'm happy lots of sun. Love my new home. Nevada
Go to the gym when you are already on the road after taking the kids to school or before you go grocery shopping in the morning! You will buy healthier stuff after working out. And you will have more energy for the rest of the day because you have already been to the gym. Plus the gym is less crowded and you can use the sauna to relax. Shower at the gym and you don't have to shower at home. This saves electricity (=money!!!) at home. When you come home put the sweaty clothes and towels in the washer and fresh clothes and towels in the gym bag at once!
Cas, I'm dying over here with the commentary. I'm a decluttering coach and this out loud internal monologue totally happens with my clients and I just let it flow...😂
I watch your videos and always say "I love that girl!" You deliver the 'lessons' with humor & kookiness that keeps us laughing & hanging on your every word!👏🌹💖
Best thing i ever did was start putting my tops bottoms jacket scarf all together on 1 hanger. So far i have 10 outfits ready to go. By June my goal is to have it all done and all left over pieces jeans, tops, cardigans that dont have friend will be donated. Im at an age i dont want think for my everyday dressing. Special outfits like weddings inside protective see through bag labeleled. I am so happy!
I put a dustpan, brush and ice cream container next to my woodwork project and found myself even sanding straight into the container. Just this last week I’ve found I’m starting to intuitively tidy any time I go from one room to another and doing some tidies at night. I’m feeling like my teenage tidy/organisation habits are coming back after living with a hoarder for 30 odd years. Just having the right furniture/organisation stuff around me is getting me back on track. I can’t thank Cass and Dana enough for changing my mindset after half a lifetime of insanity which I couldn’t do anything about because it wasn’t my clutter. So far it hasn’t translated into actual cleaning (except dishes) but getting tidying in order first is paving the way to cleaning.
I’m ngl when you were explaining “friction” it literally brought me to tears…. I have four kids & I do almost all of the cleaning. It is so hard to keep up. This “friction” happens to me almost every day. It keeps me depressed. Thank you for your help
THIS is the content I freaking LOVE!! The more vlog style when you were decluttering your closet. (I love all your content, but the vlog style is 100% my favorite).
Decisions are a major source of friction for me. If I need to decide what to do or give myself the option to skip it, I tend to let distractions detour me. Time organization is so hard for my ADHD brain, so routines with handy supply kits are life-saving! I'm at the point where I need to restart and re-do mine. I've been so overwhelmed, discouraged, and frustrated with it lately, but you inspire me!
Really needed this today. Doing a hard reset on cleaning, tidying and routines this weekend as most of the last two months has been complete chaos. Have cleaned out my fridge and pantry, did some meal planning and then went grocery shopping. Baby steps but getting there.
Whenever I watch one of your videos, I stop about halfway through and go and clean something. Or tidy something. Or even declutter a bit. This video was no exception, so - thanks! :)
Calling it "friction" is so accurate! If you put your "wrinkle clothes on".. after half an hour, your body warmth irons out the wrinkles👍😉... I don't iron anything except formal wear! Eg for a wedding etc... I probably iron 1x yr max... I have one small waredrobe. All my seasonal clothes are in it. Plus boxes of clothes for different sizes (my weight goes up and down with depression). I love decluttering.. this weekend.. cleaning, decluttering, paperwork organisation... I have drinks and films/you tube on in the background..perfect. I love walks at our local park to calm me😊.
I love this video, thank you for understanding depression and clutter and how they relate. I don't have depression but I feel depressed with my clutter. I really needed this video to help me clean. Thank you❤ I also cleaned my mom's kitchen tonight after watching this video. She is so grateful. Thank you Clutterbug! ❤
Cass I love you and I love your content. My home is mess right now. I travel a lot and my house become a mess when I pack and come back and unpack. It's been a week since I am back and finding no motivation to unpack and organize all the things back in to cupboards. I just started watching your video and after 2 mins watching I instantly felt motivated to get up and clean. You are amazing. the way to make people feel comfortable and relax about how messy and unorganized and lazy they are, like who we are and then motivate to change their situation is great!. You are great! I wish you a lot of success and peace
The light thing is absolutely true...i turn my therapy light on while i work in the kitchen, eat breakfast read, whatever...usually in the a.m. it boosts the mood
I hope you take this as the compliment it’s meant to be! Your dialogue while cleaning out your closet reminds me of the grinch trying to find something to wear. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. 🤣 I would pay you so much money to come declutter with me.
You are a joy to listen to. You have such a pleasant and motivating voice. ❤😊 And I love your sense of humor as well. You're to funny. You're such a joy to watch. Continue being you. ❤😂
Today is one of those days I really didn’t feel like doing anything! I always put on your videos for motivation even if I only hear you! I have a hotmess home it’s hard . Thankyou you are my inspiration & motivation ❤
You are so inspiring CAs! I love your life of helping and giving people a better life. You do that so well you want to be a firefighter!! Amaze balls! ❤❤❤
If you eat sugary stuff… quit. If you consume a lot of caffeine… cut back. If you don’t walk around much … start moving your body. Drink more water. All these things help with some pains. A lot of pain is caused by inflammation which is caused by poor diets. 😬😊
I feel you. I’m in my 50’s. Menopause is kicking me in the … plus chronic pain. Besides decluttering, Swedish death cleaning the past few years, I’m also trying to make things easier. Example- I had pull out shelves put in my base cabinets so I can pull out what is middle and bottom without having to get down and dig out what I need. I use a wide drawer for some dishes rather than an upper cabinet.
I’m 63 with a physically demanding job that has me walking anywhere from 6 to 16 miles daily, I cannot do without vitamins D3 & good footwear. I don’t take it daily, but whenever I start to feel achy, it works like magic. Sugar’s my only vise…really need to cut it out completely.
I love these tips. I've been struggling with burnout and work stress and it started affecting my health, physicslly and mentally. I kind of let my house go because I haven't had much energy, but i cleaned my office out for when i go back. I will need to start getting my black trash bags out and throwing things or taking them to goodwill and not being worried about insulting the person who gave them to me more! I also love you are becoming a firefighter!! My family has always been heavy into firefighting! At almost 40, I am training to become a nationally accredited personal trainer and start my own business helping woman get healthy and strong!! It's never too late to do something you love!
Hi Cas, Yes that's exactly what I'm struggling with, friction. Which is stressful. And de-moivates me. Oh yes, thanks for the hint with the smell. I love patchouli, sandal wood, and Ylang-Ylang. I will scent my sleeping room tonight.
I love your decisiveness-and that you know that ironing is not where you choose to spend your time and energy. That’s your reality! It’s inspiring to watch you accept that. I do wish, though, that “shrug” jackets were not so 90s 😆. I did like having just the sleeves, but I like not being so 90s a lot more.
You are so hilarious. I talk to my clothes the same way when I am decluttering. I have to say it out loud so my brain will hear me and allow my reasoning to let go! I love your grandma voice. You have inspired me to take my game up another level and speak in different personas. Ha Ha --- love your videos.
Hi this video popped up, I looked at it and thought why not, me and my home are depressed let's see what it is about ( OH MY) you certainly nailed it and for the first time in a long time I can see the light. The more I go through your videos and your podcast videos the more my mind is seeing a way to get my home back so (THANK YOU) I also like how you share about yourself, you are amazing and so strong. It helped me find my strength to keep fighting, So yes I have started and getting my family to help we are getting our home back.

I'm watching as I declutter our closet! I have a lot of clothes from when I too was 125 and not a sausage casing! 😂 I can donate or just get rid of so much. I tried to sell on Poshmark. Lol!
“I only need one black turtleneck, what are you Steve Jobs?!” Hahaha 😅 love you Cass!! 💕💕
The friction concept is actually enlightening. Thank you
Yesss decor on surfaces was a big block for us so we got rid of most of it
1- You inspire me
2- You make me smile
3- Love your honesty and honest reactions
4- Outtakes?! What?! Love it❣️
😊 thank you
I need to hear "it doesn't have to be perfect, just do it". I get so much from your channel. You're a beautiful soul!!
I love your humour Cass, especially when feeling overwhelmed. ❤
I relate so much with Cas in that I’m an absolute “Clutterbug” in methodology and thought process, she’s SO funny, and I love her channel!!
Friction is the force that works against motion. That is a perfect term to describe why we don’t feel like anything gets accomplished.
I feel so sad and so is my home.
I pray that you have better days. 🙏💐
I m sorry for you.
"I loved this when i was a buck25, now it looks like a sausage casing" 😂😂😂oh i felt that one
We ALL felt that statement to the core!!!!😂
You’re the gift that keeps on giving. I’m never getting rid of you. Thank you for bringing me joy and laughter!
I love your stories, especially when they start with “this mortifying thing that happened” 😂
Loved the firefighter update! Not only hilarious, but you continue to amaze me with your fortitude and positivity!
@@blueredyoyo Hello. Thank you so much for your response, that's really kind of you.
Finally a “Word” that fully describes what I have experienced for years! FRICTION.
I threw out all my Tupperware and bought new. I felt friction whenever I opened the cabinet in search of the 2 parts. 🎉
"I hate it but I wear it because it doesn't wrinkle." So True!!!!
Right?!
Have you guys tried Downy Wrinkle Release spray? I found it back in early 2000's and immediately got rid of my iron and ironing board. It takes 10 seconds and smells good too!
I was in a bad mood and thought, "I need to watch Cas." You just brighten my day!
😁grin 😀
That is what I’m doing. Tackling one drawer, one cabinet. My bathroom I did last week. This week my bedroom. Thank you.
I’ve been doing this for 20 yrs. This is the year I’ll finally get on top of my house so I can start studying…which is what I say every year🫣
I find I can't sit down to relax if my living room is trashed with toys. Same concept!
My brain also can’t concentrate in messy rooms, I thought it was just a me problem.
“What are you, Steve Jobs?”
And I almost spit my coffee laughing 😂
I love you ❤ you make my days happier, funnier, lighter 😊
Love from an Italian fan 🐞
My big stuff is in my basement so my cupboards are more spacious. I also place stuff down there in a donation box that I am unsure of letting go.
For the past 6 months off and on we’ve been decluttering and donating to the diabetes association, but this past January our landlord said he was selling the house. So we got right into decluttering even more since we downsized. We sent probably close to 50 boxes to the diabetes charity. And still donating since we’ve moved.
The best smell is fresh air.
It’s certainly rained in Wales this winter! It’s felt very grey and very long.
I so miss Wales! I was stationed at NAVFAC Brawdy from 1993 to 1995. I plan on visiting again in 2027. 💜
I agree, I live in a dark flat, it doesn’t face the sunrise or sunset. The white really helps, people even tell me it is nice and bright in here.
Cas, if it's wrinkly toss it in the dryer with a damp wash cloth. It pulls out the wrinkles.
Or save 20 minutes out of every day by letting go of clothes that you don’t love.
@@sunshine3914But if you love it, de-wrinkle it.
@@sunshine3914 Cas just did that during the video! But the clothes she loves are already wrinkled and they aren't really going to unwrinkle themselves. Rather than rewash clean clothes, she can just fluff them in the dryer. That was the whole point of the comment.
@@liisaking1247 Absolutely and it's a great hack to de-wrinkle items especially for neuro typical brains. Those neuro diverse however not so much 😊
It's crazy that I saw this as I was overwhelmed. I'm taking my house back. Everything you said hit the nail on the head
I keep a spray bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release in my closet just for those wrinkled tops. It's useful & convenient to keep it where it's needed.
Same!
That’s amazing stuff!
Consquished? I love it 😅! I love how you can just be yourself on camera, it's so much fun to watch your stuff.
Im do glad you did the long version of a wardrobe clear out. Especially since we could hear your thoughts out loud 😂
Friction! Now I know what is between me and the life I want to live!!! Our office is so bad. I told my husband I feel like shaking it upside down to throw everything out!
Your running commentary while decluttering your tops has brought joy to my morning, thank you! ❤️
I'm so glad!
I resemble that remark 😮😔
I snorted so loud at this! 😂
So true! All of her comments about her clothes as she tossed them are how I’ve felt about mine. Thanks to her and minimal mom, I’ve got a closet that’s much more under control and it’s easier to declutter the pieces that now occasionally creep in and annoy me.
🙋🏼♀️ same 🙋🏼♀️
Cas you continue to inspire me. I use the body double statagy when watching your videos. I get more done. Thank you so much, our home is running smoother now.
We appreciate you so very much! ❤
I appreciate you too!
Workout bag is brilliant. I like that idea. It’s like pre planning your outfits for the week on hangers.
I love those floral curtains. They make me happy just looking at them❤
I love them so much too! We are the minority though, most people do not like them at all!
My husband and I both love them, too!! We've been looking for something like them. Our little town doesn't have a great selection so we're going to look this weekend in Chicago! 😊❤
They are lovely :)
I did just that - pyjama all day. Thank you for your channel. Bless you.
“…..this loooks like a sausage casing!!”🤣🤣
It does!
Re: Firefighter. You completed it. Like, you started and saw it through. 🎉 Congratulations!! No matter the outcome; that's motivating!
Cas, I needed a laugh tonight. Girl, you are so funny! “Now it’s a sausage casing” “Who am I, Steve Jobs?” Haha 😆 😂
Love the friction concept. And thank you for showing how easy a clothing declutter can be! 🙏 ❤
😊 thank you
Best thing i ever did was start putting my tops bottoms jacket scarf all together on 1 hanger.
I have learned that wrinkles are a part of my life. I love linen and cotton and hate ironing with a fiery passion. I embrace the wrinkles.
I could rewatch this over and over for the closet decluttering alone! 😂😂😂
I’m ngl when you were explaining “friction” it literally brought me to tears…. I have four kids & I do almost all of the cleaning. It is so hard to keep up. This “friction” happens to me almost every day. It keeps me depressed. Thank you for your help
Same here! I subscribed because of this video! 💝
You're sowelcome!
I'm so invested in your firefighter journey, please, keep us updated 🍿
THIS is the content I freaking LOVE!! The more vlog style when you were decluttering your closet. (I love all your content, but the vlog style is 100% my favorite).
Decisions are a major source of friction for me.
If I need to decide what to do or give myself the option to skip it, I tend to let distractions detour me. Time organization is so hard for my ADHD brain, so routines with handy supply kits are life-saving! I'm at the point where I need to restart and re-do mine. I've been so overwhelmed, discouraged, and frustrated with it lately, but you inspire me!
“Who am I Steve Jobs!” “Who’s the man who’s the man?!?!” 😂 I love your silliness to make it more fun! Great!!
I'm so glad!
Consquished. My new favorite word!
Wow, that was a brutal decluttering🤣, I'm so impressed!
Omg I died when you said Starbucks and a minivan, but I love those things. I'm saving this video for closet clean outs!!
Oh my goodness, the grinch…yes!
You are a joy to listen to. You have such a pleasant and motivating voice. ❤😊 And I love your sense of humor as well. You're to funny. You're such a joy to watch. Continue being you. ❤😂
Thank you so much!
Today is one of those days I really didn’t feel like doing anything! I always put on your videos for motivation even if I only hear you! I have a hotmess home it’s hard . Thankyou you are my inspiration & motivation ❤
You got this!
You are so inspiring CAs! I love your life of helping and giving people a better life. You do that so well you want to be a firefighter!! Amaze balls! ❤❤❤
Love the bloopers at the end! Love your videos! ❤❤❤
Can you help a 70 year old women with chronic pain issues too?
@@sunshine3914is D3 for your bones? Sorry if that’s a stupid question. I take a centrum multivitamin and that’s about it.
@@sunshine3914Wait another 7 years. Seven more years of wear and tear on an already deteriorating body will make you less smug.
I think it’s awesome you are going to get buff as a fellow out of shape 45 year old on the same journey, you can do it😊.
Yes we can!
You're so beautiful 🥰😍 inside and out!! You've been helping me so much on my cleaning habits 🩷🩷🩷
Thanks Cas I really needed this. We are getting ready to remodel our house so I am decluttering as I clean out the rooms
