Fantastic info Billy, I'm on the second rung of the ladder, sport mode no roll angle, it's already a massive step up from my Mavic Air 2 and I'm hooked, I was in sport using the motion controller and its fantastic fun and super intuitive, i even let my 10 year old son have a go with the motion controller in normal mode and he was buzzing, next step is sport with medium and high roll angle for me, thanks again Billy, awesome content as always 👍

Here is updated info: you said in ~ 8:10 that you have to land and switch to manual mode and back to normal/sport. In the latest version, you can switch between them during the flight. (also, if you press the "pause" button - it will automatically be switched to "normal" mode. then you can change back to manual (don't worry, googles will assist you in setting sticks incorrect position when drone will hover on the place and only then will switch it to manual)

Oh man, thanks for this. Ordered one and just started to think about flight mode. Flown rc helis not FPV. This thing really rips. It ain't cheap, and hate to blow it up . The resolution doesn't look so bad. Wanted fpv and some filming. Be nice to see the Hasselblad on it, and would have had really what I wanted.

Thanks for the video! Do you notice a lot of image quality loss when using image roll stabilization? I shoot real estate and I’m looking into something more hybrid in terms of creativity, out of standard drones. But I just wonder if I’m able to have smooth shots with the inner roll correction, for example to fly 360 around a house.

Great video, so far the most informative that I found! one question, with no throttle spring, if I start (take off) with N or S, do I have to center the throttle first when taking off (since N usually throttle is center)? same question when switching back from M to S or N.
Yeah you will have to manually control your throttle, it won't snap back to the center. If you leave it under he center point, it will just decrease its altitude.
@@billykyle Can this situation be reproduce in the sim? Just to make sure we dont come on a surprise in the real world.

the only video I have seen explaining modes very well. Word to the wise though: don't leave your goggles on a park bench with screens facing up. they will be destroyed by direct sunlight.

N Mode = Henchmen, S Mode = Sub Boss. M Mode = Big Boss.

mode 2 has the throttle on the right stck. Mode 3 has the throttle on the left stick
Was nervous about the Acro mode (manual) but hell it's highly addicting, and thanks to DJi's no Android support I made my own simulator high up in the air lol 😂
With the pause button it's really no stress at all, try it if you haven't!
Please do shots emulating DJI automatic flying mode on this FPV, if its possible.

Can you put it in horizon mode? Where you can do rolls but when you release the stick it will stabilize?
If I often switch flying from normal to manual mode, is it still recommended to adjust the throttle stick to not be springloaded? When it's springloaded I struggle with it when flying manual, but is the drone still nice to fly in normal or sport mode with the throttle not being springloaded?
After putting on wrap on drone I've notice GPS issues like takes longer to get sat and sometime looses it, I wonder if it's because of the wrap or the gopro 10

I seem to lose transmission alot fairly close by I'm in a small town country area. Is their a setting I should be using to fly in that will help in my area
