yes but it is usually based off of the amount of "captives" which presumably derives from the amount of kills but is capped by the amount of troops in your main army. Meaning: if the main army is a single hero, then even if he wipes out 4 enemy armies as the main attacker, his reinforcement armies will get barely if any replenishment. I think.
@@prixtront7240 You get captives from "killing" routing enemies so killing 4 armies as a single character has same potential for captives as with any other type of army. That's why its important to chase down enemy army after battle to get more captives and making next battle easier or even wiping out the enemy army entirely.
I was boutta say, just like final trans, Flock of doom or soulstealer it doesnt do friendly damage, as its a direct damage spell and not a bombardement or something
And it almost nets enemies when you combine it with all the other slow sources Kislev has like Tempest passive, Ice Sheet, Frostbite and the army ability.
I love that Daniel is just the community-wide accepted name for the Demon Prince. It was something CA put down for the hell of it and yet it became legendary.
That's too much really. I don't know why CA couldn't adopt a very simple, logical and loreful system: - Godslayer (Daniel) as "Deamons of Chaos" gets all the Daemonic RoRs. - Archaon and Kholek as undivided "Warriors of Chaos" get all the Mortal RoRs - marked Warriors of Chaos (Valkia, Festus, Vilitch, Azazel) and the Monogod lords get both Mortal and Daemonic RoRs but ONLY of their respective God. - Sigvald was a mistake as a "pseudo-undivided but still Slaanesh" and should have been in Azazel spot. Same principle applies for the Legendary Heroes: Archaon gets Harald Hammerstorm, Aekold Hellbrass and Kazyk the Befouled, Vilitch gets Aekold and Blue Scribes, Daniel gets Blue Scribes and Karanak, etc...
Youre thinking of death frost. Heart of winter is an aoe that damages everything. There is an aoe in tempest lore that doesnt do FF i cant think of what its called though
Amazing title for the video! Absolutely hilarious! Hopefully we get more Daemon RoRs before the end of Warhammer 3. That way we can get a full Daniel RoR Doomstack.
His main problem was being too close to Malus, there is now the FLC between them so Daniel has now a safer start. His faction was never weak, Khorne unit plus shadow magic and Nurgle magic is a potent combo.
Chaos wastes are a really easy start position in my opinion because of how you can control your borders. Push East to Cathay and stop at Volary, then push West and stop at Naggarond. Then you build your doomstacks and GG. Daniel has absurd doomstacks.
I haven’t played Daniel because i sometimes like making one man doomstacks. And in the past, Legend has stated that skarbrand, nkarri, kugath, and kairos are the better demonic oneman doomstack than daniel. I will have to give him a try, which is good lol
@@PenguinWithInternetAccess Never considered how he benefits from every chaos dlc. Hopefully he'll end up the best LL in some regards as he's somewhat the flagship of the game
Legend is talking about high value in terms of balance of power, so basically any expensive/high tier unit will count and RoR should also have a higher weight than their regular counterparts.
Surely, the easy fix for this kind of spam is having an army cap on RoR that can be recruited. Like 4 RoR per army, like allied units. Not a perfect fix, but an easy improvement
Daniel isn't bad, but people make fun of him because he's different and they're uncomfortable with it. Actually, his faction is really good as being to pick and choose across pretty much all chaos units is really powerful (nurgle healing/tanking + tzeentch shooting + khorne line breaking + slaanesh speed/flanking, combined as you see fit for crazy hammer and anvil or firing lines or rainbow monsters later in the game). Himself as a lord, he's decent, but pretty big and easy to shoot, so you have to be careful, at least at the beginning. Later on, I think you can make him pretty tough and also heal him in combat.
I mean, I know now, but yeah, it took me a full 100hrs of playing before I realized I could move the reinforcement point. Kind of made me mad because I'd just had a fight where moving it could have saved the battle (or at least a lot of otherwise fully dead units). So, the next battle that had reinforcement I said, in frustration, "I wish they made it so I could click and drag it like this"... and low and behold it moved... Unfortunately that point was just far enough ahead it would have been more inconvenient to reload the previous reinforcement battle then just continue the campaign. Almost did it anyway out of spite.
He did it aswell to me with Malakai, i had him doing Grimgor, far away from my north zone, and he start ravaging every settlement with that army, fucker :c
Sacrificing a semi-unbreakable garrison unit gor a big heart of winter would have won the game very easily. Its not the best spell because it works so slowly, but the total damage is quite high.
cant wait for Daniels RoR full doomstack by the end of Warhammer 3
Daniel: Fuck you and I’ll come back with the same army in 10 turns
I love how chaos factions share so many RoRs you basically fight some of them multiple times in different factions during one campaign
Every time I fight three back to back armies that have uncle furuncle in it I feel like eating my own hands

My favorite is when Archaon reinforces Kohlek, and you have to fight 2 severed claws and 2 Bilious at the same time.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing you do a Daniel campaign. His start has become a little complicated after getting shoved to the side for Epidemius.
Showcasing a huge weakness of Demon Lords: massive targets with basically no armor. Any crappy missle unit can dunk on them
And the AI loves to send them in alone to get filled full of sticks.
The amount of times I have shot belakor, Daniel, and skarrbrand using net of amyntok and arrows and guns is quite laughable.
It would be pointless for the AI to try and chase down your reinforcement marker though, since you can just move it again as the battle progresses.
It's pretty freak absurd how him and the WoC factions can just stack full armies of RoR
As a Daniel who loves the regiments of renown, I took this title personally
He looks so proud of himself in that thumbnail
Legend I had no idea you could move reinforcement spawn location until I saw you do it.

I agree, the situation with RoRs in Chaos is hilariously bad and annoying atm
Love how the chaos factions get access to the severed claw at the very balanced rank of...7
With every DLC involving a chaos faction, by the time they're all out Daniel might just be able to make 2 whole stacks of RoRs
I haven't played Kislev in ages, but isn't "Heart of Winter" a direct damage spell, meaning it doesn't hurt your own troops?
