All his BS about remorse....the way he selected THAT instant, in order to try to retraumatize his ex wife was so grotesque, so unspeakable.
This Judge has been very soft spoken and amiable through the trial. He's always kept a light tone when speaking to Summers. So it was probably a shock to Summers to see that the Judge being a pleasant person did not mean he did not see and understand exactly what Summers was doing and why.

Assaulting his wife, using the children, and then he had the nerve to try to humiliate her and make her relive that agony on the stand. I'm very happy this monster will be locked away. The victim impact statements are so crucial and I was very interested to hear what they said after following such a emotional trial. But I've got to say, it really sucks hearing people off camera whispering overtop the actual speaker while they read their statements. Especially during the wife's statement! I have never seen a defense attorney question victim impact statements. This is odd. This entire case has been odd. This guy is a nutjob. I don't understand how his wife didnt see this. But the fact that he conveniently chose to defend himself right before his wife would take the stand shows how incredibly manipulative he is. It's rare to see a narcissist that's so blatant that he's blind to the perception he's giving others. Most narcissists can confuse and sway others but he's so far gone he can't even imagine others not buying what he's selling. He will spend the rest of his life telling other inmates about how his wife screwed him over. How he was the victim. This jury did an amazing job.

I had my doubts about this judge at first but he would make a great poker player. This creep only represented himself to get at his family and hearing the judge blast him during sentencing was priceless to see his face. He thought he was conning everybody and couldn't even let his family have the last word for impact statements. He still had to stand and try to talk after they had poured their heart out. This man never needs to be released and the reason he doesn't have a criminal history is because he has been Houdini of getting out of trouble like most con men are. These are the worst of the worst. They do extensive damage.

This Judge is a wonderful man he's always the same friendly, soft spoken and smiles, he's filled will fatherly love and understands what this family has been through I see him looking over at Trevor Summers giving him a long hard stare, this is a very sad case which ended with justice served to the abusive father and husband

Did that lawyer say, "He's not a violent man" AFTER knowing all his client did?👀 He cannot be serious!
