I’m a huge fan of this style for multiple reasons. 1) I’m stuck in the lab all day. Being able to listen and walk away without missing any visual content is awesome. 2) I’m a Chemistry nerd. My whiskey knowledge is strong in the lab, but I’m ignorant to sourcing/procurement and what the “big players” are doing at that level. Listening to this conversation provided a lot of insight there. Ryan Alves turned me on to you guys and I’ve really enjoyed the content. Cheers and best of luck with the business adventures!
Please please keep this on fridays this is perfect to unwind with a cigar and whiskey at the end of the week. Love the long format. Ginger Seth Rogen was great too.
Cheers! this is a great format and thanks for not stripping out the realism of a group of guys chatting. Look forward to more of these and to the success of Virtue.
This is great stuff. Love hearing about industry trends, changes and opinions from the guys who know so much more then most. I'm now going to get some Penelope. I love MGP sourced whiskeys. 🥃🥃
Love the content! Congrats to the folks at Penelope and continued success! The Junkies have you on the channel and you get an offer for 105++, coincidence ….. I think not!
Back-to-back absolute hitters for content! I honestly just love new & creative content. You don’t have to do the same thing every week. Be loose and roll with what works. This seems like a new beginning for the channel and I am loving it. Cheers.
LOVE this style of conversation. Thank you for keeping things new on your channel and hope to see much more of this style of content! Love this community and this channel.
I just subscribed two days ago and what a great time to find you guys! I love the content! I just started a whiskey collection and its because of yooze guys! Can't wait for the next Ep.
The Rio is now out. We just got 2 bottles delivered luckily. We cracked it open and Good Golly that’s a delicious brown sugar with some spice. I was expecting it to be higher proof cause Penelopes be touching 115 sometimes.
I’m not going to lie I was upset when I heard pour guesses was going away as that is what got me into watching you guys. I really enjoyed this and like others have said I could listen and not feel like I was missing anything both not watching. Cheers fellas and keep up the good work.
I hope you know, the second Shawn said "Dan lives in a swamp. He's like Shrek", my life was forever changed. I cannot watch another video of yours without hearing Smash Mouth in the background And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming And they don't stop coming
Love the deep dive podcast! Excited with the Penelope buy out hopefully making it possible for Penelope to make it further west than Colorado (Utah hopefully!)
This is great. Feels so much more like just hanging out with friends. I’m getting a little burnt out on all the ranking, classification and competition. It’s nice to just sit and chat with no agenda.
Would love if you guys could do some tier lists of less popular bourbons that have so many types. Luke Penelope, Blue Run, Bardstown etc. all bourbons I’d like to try but never know where to start. The main brands we all know don’t hit like the ones we do. It know.
Great episode, I think it is worth mentioning that we have seen MGP buy another brand and leave them alone. Lux Row is MGP and the only thing that changed for them was a giant influx of cash to actually start distilling their own product.
"Sure, in Eight & Sand’s case, the base whiskey is bourbon. But they also set out with the idea to showcase their four primary whiskeys (Bourbon, corn, rye, and light) and then blended a whiskey that can show off what can be done with them." - Pretty sure Kris was right on this one, just didn't have time to verify it......................
Mike Outcalt won the 2nd WTWT not Matt Rehwoldt. I think you’ve got the two mixed up. Rehwoldt, I believe, was one of the finalists the year Porter won.
One the Neat documentary Mary Ann Barnes, master distiller at Castle & Key stated that 50-70% of bourbon's taste comes from the barrel. Shawn was right again! Starts at 50%
Hey guys, you may want to take this down and edit out the part where Kristopher calls Melissa McCarthy a "big girl" before it gets out there too much. That sort of thing could cast a big unfortunate net.
You combine that with his hard R comments and this dude seems a little problematic. Sean and Dan should know better and wouldn't want them to catch heat for his offensive remarks.
I wasn't making fun of her. I was being descriptive. Larger female might have been a better choice. It was flippant and insensitive. I completely get it and apologize
My only suggestion is to make sure you offer some content each week that's under 20 minutes - I'm sure I'm not the only person who cant commit 45 minutes to youtube content, and it would be a shame to lose the connection with so many people
I love your show. Great episode. But, please please stop dismissing the use of the word “retard” as being ok. Its not. Cmon guys its 2023. My son has Down Syndrome and my wife is a 20yr teacher of special needs. The word is sooo offensive. Thanks.
It’s a word. A word. Please grow thicker skin or spend the rest of your life offended and afraid of your own shadow. No one here, ESPECIALLY the BJ’s are making fun of disabilities so stop trying to make it about you. Nuff said and Cheers!
I love you guys and I was loving this interview up until the "r" word. It's never okay. I know you want your guest to feel comfortable, but maybe that should ultimately be cut from the video. One way or another, this is hurtful to individuals with disabilities.
This format is fantastic. But wasn't a fan of the McCarthy or hard R comments. And adding, "can I say that here"? No, you cant say that anywhere. Put me off Kristopher.
@@KristopherHart okay. Glad you understand. It's just a derogatory word. That really shouldn't be used anymore. See a below comment for someone it hurt. I also think you may want to comment on your 'big girl' comment for Melissa McCarthy. Also not cool.

How dare you, sir
@@KristopherHart I meant “not” ginger Seth Rogen?
Kris is right about Eight and Sand 😂 "Blended Bourbon" by definition has to only be 51%" Bourbon. It also has Rye and Light Whiskey in the blend.
I feel like every episode should involve Dans mic not working haha. Great job on the podcast
Cheers! this is a great format and thanks for not stripping out the realism of a group of guys chatting. Look forward to more of these and to the success of Virtue.

I am a fan of this change of pace; like a mini live stream just hanging out and talking.
I finally got a chance to sit down, pour a glass and watch this episode and I love this format. Great show guys.
Let’s get the TJ Max/Home Goods price tag off the golden table 😂
LOVE this style of conversation. Thank you for keeping things new on your channel and hope to see much more of this style of content! Love this community and this channel.
Awesome video. Liked the insight to the behind the scenes too!
This is a good format. Idea for the name: POOOOOOOOOUR GUEST-ES
😂😂😂
Awesome video guys, really enjoyed watching. Would love to see more podcast style videos in the future. Cheers!
Love the new content.
Good to see that Sean's legs were used to properly white balance the camera.
Name for this format: 3 guys, 2 working mics
🤣😂
I just subscribed two days ago and what a great time to find you guys! I love the content! I just started a whiskey collection and its because of yooze guys! Can't wait for the next Ep.
Great job guys. Will be a good length of time to enjoy a bourbon and cigar while watching.

The new starlight cigar blend Amburana cask aged bourbon is fantastic!!
Loving this as the new Friday content. Can we just make a pants requirement for all future episodes? 😂 Keep up the great work guys.
I'm never able to make it to the livestreams so I appreciate being able to see some long form content from you guys that I can watch on my own time
Sad to see Pour Guesses out, but this is GREAT!
Been waiting for a podcast style episode. Hopefully there is more to come! This was great!!
This was fantastic. Love the podcast format. Little echoey on Dans side when he doesn’t get close enough to the mic.
Fix Dan's mic, again. Loved the episode!
Love the format and content! I can get behind this all day!
I’m only halfway through this video. GREAT JOB- This is So entertaining. Thanks for all the hard work. 🥃

We need more of these!
Really enjoyed the long format. This was great
Why does everyone keep saying Dan's mic was wrong? It was exactly where it needed to be. Damn near off.
This was rad. Shout of to Penelope. I have yet to be disappointed in those bottles.
Love the new long podcast format! Must be a regular!
Loved the new Friday video style guys! Also Vampire Sean knowing who the Vampire Diaries guys were was the most fitting thing ever.
Enjoyed the content. Best interviews are conversations among friends. Keep reaching for your dreams. Cheers 🥃
"Let's Talk Bourbon and Other Shit" w/ Dan & Sean.
500 likes is more than 5, so Mr. Hart is coming back! Thanks to Prideful Goat for the first #bourbonheads pick! Cheers!
As much as I love, poor guesses. Four minutes and I’m hooked on this new Friday content. An dam even more letting the ham hocks outs. Cheers Guys

Love the deep dive podcast! Excited with the Penelope buy out hopefully making it possible for Penelope to make it further west than Colorado (Utah hopefully!)
Extremely well done guys - highly interesting and entertaining.
What about Penelope distribution in Michigan? ;-)
It's good to see gingers represented.
This is great. Feels so much more like just hanging out with friends. I’m getting a little burnt out on all the ranking, classification and competition. It’s nice to just sit and chat with no agenda.
Absolute hitter with the content guys! Let it flow. It's like a live stream in short form. Great time! Cheers!🥃
If you do this again, make sure Dan's mike is set up properly. He is hard to hear.
I noticed you all had the Four Gate bottle there the whole time I thought you would talk about it but do y’all think they could be bought soon?
This is exactly the kind of content I have been wanting from you guys! Super excited for this and what this will become in the future. Cheers guys 🤙

Sean went for daisy dukes. Bold move cotton. Rip poor guesses 😢
This was great guys
Love the format guys!
Great content, to bad about Pour Guesses... PG needs to come back somewhere.
More of these!
Awesome start to what seems to be an amazing new form of content.
Nice slides Dan
Enjoyed it guys - cheers!
Barrels are for “Sweetens cove” for the non lip readers.
Enjoyed the discussion, but why is the video just pictures of so much white leg meat??
I have seen several references to poor guesses did I miss a live stream or something where the end to our guesses was announced?

I must've missed something. Is pour guesses on a break?
They’re switching up friday content. They talked about it in a live. Just testing things right now.
Pants = mandatory
Jesus Dan, adjust the mic.
This is the best format! But for the love of god cover up Sean's legs, lol
Sean's legs are way too aggressive! So many veins...
20:25 imagine if they bleeped out (retarded) and then referred to it as the hard R. The confusion it would’ve caused in the comment section lol.
