I never considered oregon. Nor Ashland. Artsy place sounds up my alley. Moving from Texas...hmmmmm.

I'm considering Southern Oregon as a possible relocation destination. Do you ever have earthquakes there?

Not really anything of substance. I can only remember feeling a very minor shake probably 20+ years ago. There are some off the coast, but we don't really feel them over here.

How is that tiny town with no real industry (besides tourism and a university) so damn expensive!? I went to middle school there in the 80’s and loved it, my grandparents retired there, would love to come back, but damn, who’s driving up these prices? I’m guessing the useless remote working tech wieners that are ruining the rest of the country.

It's just all supply and demand. Lots of people are retiring to areas like Ashland, which is a bargain compare to the Bay Area, Southern California, Seattle, Portland, etc.
