Fantastic overview with lots of gold nuggets for just 20min, JD is the real deal - a modern player with very deep blues roots. Killer chops, tone for days and he’s all soul.
Love me some JD, he just keeps getting better and better. Going through a 'Hacksaw Jim Duggan' phase currently, it would seem.

Guitar teacher recommended I go and see him so last night I was lucky enough to see him in Chicago and all I can say is WOW! DUDE is is incredible and just blew me away with his style and how everything he played just sounded new in its own way but equally exceptional. If you ever get a chance, see him!
