God the reason this show is so good and joyful to watch is that it’s a sitcom about a team of writers and their boss that deep down really love each other, slowly giving up on all pretense of formality as the world descends into insanity, thinly veiled as a late night talk show

I love how the show has changed since Covid. It went from run of the mill to my favorite late night show. Seth being allowed to be slightly unhinged at all times was a great choice.
The one thing I wish he'd bring back: the Sea Captain.

@madeleineprice9645 specifically, I want Seth to go Day Drinking with the Sea Captain. It was just goofy during quarantine to have Seth give life to a random painting at his wife's parents' house. Like his madness was manifest via the Sea Captain. I live alone so it clicked with me while I spent that same time locked alone going crazy myself.

I love surprise inspection. But not because some of the jokes are funny, which they are, but because I love how close it makes the staff seem.

Hate to break it to you, but your opinion is invalid because you skipped right over Amber Says What. Anyone who doesn't realize that's one of the highlights of the show has not been watching the show.
They are far too rare, but any of the Jeff Wright segments where he plays multiple characters are also great (as are many of those already named). Heck, I even like At This Point in the Program.
It's so nice to finally see Scollins! He looks... surprisingly normal? I expected him to have horns or something lol

Love how Seth interacts with and highlights his writers and staff. You can tell that they have a great time working together, and it really brings something extra special to the show.
I saw someone state "the reason this show is so good, is because it is like a sitcom about a tv host and his writers". Thought that was pretty good.
Scollins is my favorite. So glad to see him get his own segment and be there for it. I love his jokes, especially the ones that make it to surprise inspection.
DJTJ is so addle-brained he can't remember that his 'boyhood home' was the Plaza Hotel. He, Ivanka and Eric lived on one floor of the hotel with their nannies and maids and Chump and Ivana lived on another floor. According to one of the staff, Chump would call the kids on the phone once in a while. Such a great Dad.

Rather than end Corrections, it seems that Seth letting it's unhinged inside joke approach backflow into the regular show, which is fantastic.

It’s a reference to his stated refusal to give his wife oral sex, saying that the man is King and deserves whatever he wants, but women do not.
DJ Khalid expressed at one point how he refuses to "lick the bean" with his partners. To "slurp the clam" you might say. He says he'd never "smooch the cooch" if ya know what I mean.
Hence why he'd say "no" to "eating out" after getting his paycheck.
