The client running his mouth in the courthouse and attacking the judge while the attorney stands by looking uncomfortable- this image says it all. This is also why most attorneys have refused to represent him. This is completely insane.
They've also started to refuse to represent Trump because he fails to pay them.
The Closer Look kept me sane during the pandemic, but the writers strike showed me that The Closer Look was also keeping me sane during the insane dystopian nightmare that is reality today. So glad Late Night is back.

Truth: in this 30 minute ACL return, I have had more genuine laughs than since I was diagnosed with a serious illness less than a month after the strike started! Laughter is really the best medicine. Seth, please don’t go on hiatus anytime soon.
Usually ACL gets 1 chortle out of me (fairly high praise), but this one had me actually LOL several times.
Not sure if I found it funnier, or if I was just Seth starved for months.
But either way, absolutely love it... glad you're back, but even more glad the writers union stuck to their guns.

@@CrowClouds That's a fair response; they had a tentative agreement on September 24th, and the strike was announced to end September 27 at 12:01 a.m. PDT following a vote on September 26th.
The actors' strike is ongoing, so while the writers aren't on strike anymore, actors are still striking.
Though it's worth indicating to the AMPTP how quickly they could resolve the actors' strike if they just negotiated fair offers to them - 3 days is a quick turnaround, for people that anti-union people were commenting that "The writers didn't want to work.".

@@XopheAdethri I haven't seen that series, but I get being frustrated when you spend time watching something that doesn't meet your standards as a viewer. That's a great reason to support the Guild, which has pushed back on studio-side decisions that have led to streaming being flooded with shows and movies that were produced under extreme work conditions. No one reaches their full potential when they're overworked, underpaid, and shut out from decision-making processes. Better treatment of writers means better TV and movies for us all.
